Hello I just got my C5 Ultra and I am highly impressed by the build quality and value such a wonderful phone. Only found out that Ethernet Adapter won't work with this 5.1 build I received. does someone have a earlier or later firmware that enables use of Ethernet OTG adapter on the C5?

The issue here is that when I connect to HDMI port on TV with micro HDMI on the device,
there is no picture on TV. Even though the HDMI cable connected comes up there is no
setting under Display Setting about HDMI mode. Can you please help me.

I read many post's here and there about OTG (or MTP) problems for Z3TC (kitkat or lolipop) .
Anyone can report something about ??
I'm planning to buy one but .....
OTG is very important for the use i wont it for.
For me it works. No problems so far. Last week I copied about 12gb of pictures with a cheap otg adapter from eBay.

in what firmware and android version ??
I don't know the firmware (don't care about it) but first it was on 4.4, then 5.0 and since last week on 5.1... Official firmware flashed with PC Compagnion.
No root or any modifications, otg used with the preinstalled filemanager.
Only one time the tablet couldn't mount my USB drive, but after a reboot the problem was gone.
Same here. Otg was fine on 5.0.2 and now still working perfect on latest 5.1.1
So there is a micro usb ethernet device that allows a phone to use its micro USB out to a ethernet.

Hello forum,
I need your help about a issue which I have with me head unit.
It runs android 5.1 .1
Model: A-MEDIA AUTO
MCU Version: MTCD_LM_V1.36_1
Kernel version:3.0.101+
Built: rk3188-userdebug 28032016.11:22:37
I believe that there is an issue with the USB drivers or android version.
I have install a USB Camera and is working properly but when it is connected I cannot hear sound from USB stick (mp3). When I disconnect the camera all sounds are ok !
Before 2 weeks I have also bought a USB Dongle for apple car play, and when I connect my iphone the view it's not the correct, it's show many small windows - icons
I have also try the dongle with my tablet (android 4.4) and works fine..
I have search in the forum and some other people had the same issues but the update the android version and fix the problems..
Do you know where I can find a new android version for the specific head unit ? (unfortunately the seller can't help me)
Thanks in advance
So i've installed this custom os [ROM] [N6F26Q] AOSP Nougat (12 Jan 2017) on my Galaxy s2 plus, and then my DSLR camera connection stopped working (OTG), but the os says it should be compatible with OTG, i'm not sure the DSLR has anything with OTG to do tho?. Now i have googled around and found files neccessary for it to work, installed them and USB Host Controller detected them, still not recognising the camera.
So is there a way to install what's "neccessary" from the original stock firmware into some kind of kernal or "added function" via Custom Recovery or perhaps Odin?
Thanks to anyone that can potentially help to solve this!
This is something you give up when you use aosp. The otg works only if they use the open source version which most do not.
With aosp only the very basic functions will work.
Any custom rom for s2 plus that it works on if you know?
If anyone else have the same issue, it was never a problem with the os, i've tried it on several custom Os aslong as your phone is OTG compatible it works, it seems.
Buy a new OTG Cable and it will work again, or rather say buy the adapter version of it, better then the ****ty cable version that i bought, that broke out of thin air.
