Maybe this isn't the proper place to ask for it, but I'm in search for an app that work like min-min guard (whitelist/blacklist modular ad blocker) without xposed, waiting for nougat framework. Does anyone know of such an app?

isn't right, lucky patcher can remove only the ads, then you check apply to boot, so when you power on the phone you don't find the ads

Lucky Patcher does remove some adds but not for all apps. It only works on the green marked applications in the list when running Lucky Patcher.

I mean, when I create a modified apk is invalid.
Try AdFree
Just use Adfree.
It's the best app for removing annoying ads.
But you need to be rooted.
You shouldn't really remove ads from games, after all they still support the developers and help them make new apps! If you don't want ads you should buy the ad free versions or contact the developer so they make an ad free version.

This is true. Not everyone make apps just for fun and as a hobby. If you really want your adds to vanish just use your phone offline.

hi,
it might be cool if there will be a built in virus scanner that protects the whole system(browsing and data) so we don't have to download one from the app store every time. i use cm security now so maybe some inspiring....just a suggestion because security is very important
You don't need a virus scanner

No. That is bloat. We will not take $$ away from our fellow developers that rely on ads to support their apps...

You can used lbe security master
Sent from my SM-T210 using XDA Free mobile app
Only people who are incompetent need antivirus on android. Unless you grant any and every apk su than it won't affect your device in a harmful way....much like if you allow an apk to have special permissions don't complain that you lose your sensitive data.
Sent from my Paranoid Bionic
I didn't have antivirus on my Windows PC, and it turned out to be fine!
Don't use unknown third party markets and please read the permissions before installing anything
Hello,
I don't use YouTube cause it's blocked in my country and I don't like to use VPN and undergo lot of stuff just to be able to use it. However, the summer is coming and I feel like I should start surfing in it.
So, what is the best YouTube app out there? Should I just stick with the official one or the modified youtube apps and magisk mods perform better? (Ads and battery usage and stuff)

There's a large variety of YB alternatives out there but I prefer this one because it could run without flashing Gapps. It's lightweight, works well, customizable and it has some extra features. It's also missing some basic ones but I've easily got used to it.
P.S. It goes easy on the battery and it has no ads.
cloudflare dns from magisk to unblock youtube
use youtube vances from magisk to use free premium feature like background music & ads free

This is the best privacy manager. But I really hope that we can use it on magisk as module. I don't want Xposed.

It's not possible, magisk can't hook into code, only xposed can do that
Magisk can only change and add files
Xposed can only change and add code
You can't turn an xposed module into a magisk module and vice-versa,just because they're both called modules doesn't mean they do the same thing
Huh? XPrivacy has always relied on Xposed (hence the name). Why should it suddenly be different?

Yeah, there's no other way for xPrivacy to work without xposed's ability to hook and modify app code at runtime

Magisk is only a root manger application.
And its modules are nothing but replacement of system files in mirrored system partition created by magisk.
Where xposed can hook Methods and resources.
Never underestimate xposed.
It has great role in reverse engineering of application and customisation.
Badly missing Xprivacy on magisk. Was anyone able to work with Xprivacy Lua ?

Xprivacy and Xprivacy Lua are not magisk modules.
XprivacyLua is working well on my 2 x S8. One one Oreo and the other on pie.
The one on pie needs magisk to be able to install Edxposed.
May anybody help me to make Xprivacy compatibility to deny requets of libraries (loadLibrary) on Android 7, please?
Or to make the possibility to ALLOW or DENY "Accounts" category based on PARAMETERS?
How may I refresh Xprivacy to read database again without need to reboot?
Thank you very much.
XPL Is a must have Tool
it's a shame that XPL has been discontinued. I can no longer imagine an android smartphone without xpl.
XPL deserves support.

Is there a way to completely delete the XPL settings? unfortunately my phone does not start as long as XPL is active. have probably made too many settings.
As soon as I reactivate the module, the phone no longer starts.
deleting data does nothing.

If you do a search for Xposed, there is a uninstall ZIP file that you can flash using recovery mode that will uninstall Xposed, which will then disable Xprivacy and your phone should be able to bootup.

I think you should be able to disable the Xprivacy "module" from within the xposed app, then reboot. Then uninstall xprivacy like you would any other app, then reinstall the xprivacy APK and it should start with default settings.
XPrivacy was way better than XPL, I don't know why M66B would dump it. I still have it running on my Galaxy S5 with Kitkat, it's not like it needs any updating, it's fine how it is. It just needs to run heh. Anyone know how I could get it running on a recent and supported version of Android (like Oreo) and EdXposed? Is it even possible? I'd like to help to work on it.

XPrivacy doesn't work on recent Android versions anymore due to structural changes in Android, which is the main reason why XPrivacyLua was developed.

What kind of structural changes? Ain't no hill for a climber.
Also XPL doesn't run with EdXposed, so it's in a worse position than XP from my point of view. Have to stick with my ancient S5 for now.

In fact many things were changed, but the main obstacles are tighter security (SELinux), how the activity manager service works and how apps are being started. Since XPrivacy is not supported anymore, I am not going to provide more details, but both the source code of XPrivacy and XPrivacyLua are on GitHub, so you can check for yourself.

Is there a way to hide the battery status? I have an annoying battery Warnung in my car every time the battery is less then 50% when my Smartphone is connected with Bluetooth. I cant disable that in the car hifi settings. Or can i send fake data?
Hello,
So my question is, how do I stop an application from checking root and third party applications?
I'm on a rooted one plus 6t. I love Xposed but when I use Xposed, snapchat can tell I have it installed and bans me.
I've modded several apk's in the past and can work my way around XML sometimes smali.
Where exactly would I start with a decompiled Snapchat APK in order to stop it from detecting root and third party applications?
FYI, I've tried to use blocking apps/modules to hide Xposed from snapchat and still got banned so those methods dont currently work.
Thanks!
Magisk hide and maybe the module. After u hide reset the app.

I did that with Snapchat while running edxposed on my op6t. Snapchat was still able to figure out I was running Xposed Framework.
The only solution I see, for now, is to decompile the snap APK and figure out where in the coding it's giving the command to check for third party applications. Then disable it. I figured it's probably in smali coded in some if/then style.

Yes, I'm aware. However, Snapchat is still able to detect the presence of Xposed Framework.
I'm looking for a permanent solution, a way to decompile the Snapchat application and remove the code that is responsible for detecting Xposed. I've searched for everything I can think of using notepad÷÷ in the decompiled Snapchat APK but I can't seem to find anything.
