Hello,
I have a Smartwatch Android Snopow W1S.
This Smartwath has Android 4.4 Kitkat.
The problem is that the Smartwatch always shows 100% of Battery when the Battery is charged at maximum and it does not descend for 1 day o for hours depending of use, but at any moment the charged descend very quickly and in 5-10 minutes the watch is power off and without battery.
I tryed with anothers apps of Battery indicators and all of them showing the same 100%.
Also, I tryed a Battery Calibration with apps from Play Store but the problem continue.
I think that it is a bug specifically of the Android ROM of my device, because I had another similar Smartwatch Snopow and worked perfectly.
The Smartwatch is new and under warranty, but the shop where I bought the Smartwatch already reinstalled the ROM and it had this problem.
Are there any solution for this problem?
Anybody has had this problem?
Thank you very much,
I wait a response.
The issue is the knock off smart watch. Other then trashing it and getting a new one there is nothing you can really do.

I've got a bit of a problem with my Xperia Ray and despite hours of googling I still can't find a solution so I thought I'd see if you guys could help
Had it for about 6 months now and it worked great up until a couple of weeks ago when suddenly the battery life got way shorter, like I used to be able to get close to 3 days if I didn't do anything but sending messages and using some basic apps and even with pretty heavy use it still lasted well over a day.
Recently though it lasts under 20 hours with absolutely no usage, when I leave the phone overnight it loses about 40% charge when previously the use was under 10 for the same time period and even if its turned off it loses charge at a similar rate.
The other problem that started around the same time was that whenever the phone turns off from lack of charge or I take out the battery the date resets to 6 January 1980 and the phone seems unable to automatically correct it. Previously my phone was able to retain the date even after the battery had run down completly.
The only thing I can think of that changed before the problems started was that I used a solar powered usb charger for a few days because I was tramping but I have no idea what that could have gone wrong or how I could fix it.
I've tried a full factory reset, upgraded the android software to 4.0.4 and used various battery apps to try to find anything that might be using all my battery with no success.
Its driving me crazy so any help would be great.
Also here's a picture of a recent day of usage (not enough posts to embed it properly sorry), except for a short run I didn't use the phone for anything

Could be a lot of things. If the solar powered charger made your phone really hot while charging then the battery might be permanently damaged and you should try a different battery. It could also be that your power meter has gone wonky and this can be reset by charging the phone to 100% and then removing the battery and the usb cable from the phone for 10 minutes. Return the battery to the phone and charge it back up to 100%. Usually, when I experience something like this, it is some app that is draining the battery. Since you have just been trekking, maybe it is google maps. If it is tracking/updating you location, it will drain your battery really fast. You should be able to see this, just by going to system settings->battery. Stand by or Display are usually the big battery hogs.

I don't know anyone with a ray battery but I can buy a new one relatively cheap so I'll do that and see how it goes
I'll post results in a few days
Well I got a new battery yesterday as suggested and tried it out from full charge but unfortunately there was no change in the battery life, it still ran all the way down in less than 20 hours with minimal use
Begining to wonder if its a hardware fault within the phone itself
Hi
I searched the web and also on Xda but I could not find an answer to the problem I got. I want to know if anybody has the same problem as I have. Firstly I want to clarify that I am NOT talking about a normal battery drainage caused by background apps, foreground apps, enabled wifi, bluetooth, google background activities, synchronisation, facebook, google location settings, any antivirus app or something of that kind. There are plenty of threads about that and google search is full of this topic. I am talking about something else when it comes to sudden and quick battery drainage.
It already happened to me a couple of times when I use the built in projector of my phone (samsung galaxy beam). So I watch a movie on the projector and it takes let say.. around 30 percent of my battery life. After I turn the projector off, close all foreground and background activities I wait like a minute or 2 and the battery status drops from lets say 28 to 20. This is normal as the battery status somehow needs some time to get "updated". So after every single fore- and background activity is closed and I got 20% battery left I go to bed. Then in the morning I look at my phone and its dead meaning the battery dropped to 0 causing the phone to turn off. And thats not normal for me. (I do hear the sound of very low battery in the early morning meaning it doesnt turn off within 1 hour which would mean faulty battery) First I was thinking that this problem might be caused by previously overheating the battery but I checked the temperature and here all is fine. Also both batteries are not too old and still work normally (beside the described problem). I may add that using the projector itself is not an "extreme" usage of the battery. When I use the projector, play an HD android game connected to my ps3 controller ...that is a different story.
So my question is what could cause this rapid battery percentage drop even tho the phone has no activity at all and sleeps. Sometimes it happens and sometimes it does not tho..If I would not use the projector then I loose around 2-3 percent overnight, if I use it then I sometimes loose 20% without doing anything. And thats not normal. I understand that a lot of people dont have my phone, but I still would like to know if anybody had the same issue on his phone after "heavy" usage? Maybe android somehow thinks that there is still activity even tho there isn´t. Like a virtual activity making the battery think its in use and therefore draining it. Any thoughts on that?

I wrote that already in the post. Its the Samsung Galaxy Beam.
ya, even my xperia m with JB 4.3 drains heavily.
This is a case where actual current measurements will narrow things down.
It could be that when you turn off the projector, there is still some hardware drain going on.
It could also be that the last "20%" of your battery is really only 1%.
For current measurement, see: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2487055
this can be due to some defect with ur battery or with the charger that you are using, you can rule this out may be by trying different charger and also changing the battery to rule out the battery defect. what @Renate NST say could also be the issue.
Problem solved
Ok. Just a little heads up. I managed to solve the problem. Thanks for the replies. This is how I solved it:
1. I first ran this app ( Battery Life Repair) to check for any faults in the battery itself https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.BoshBashStudios.batterydoctorrepair
2. Then I installed this app (BatteryCalibration): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nema.batterycalibration and followed the advise as written on the app (regarding full charge and discharge- I discharged it until the phone switched off). Find the XDA thread of this app here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1024867
3. After I watched a movie on the phones projector I restarted the phone and it stopped from draining the battery until 0 and went back to a normal discharging state
So with a bit of heavier battery usage (watching a movie on the projector) the phone or battery somehow memorized this usage, and thought it has to continue in this state even after I ended the movie and turned the projector off. But the above 3 actions solved my problem. Its important to mention that you will still loose some battery life as you need to restart the phone. But this is obviously way better than having the battery run down to 0% for a virtual usage... :good:
PS: If you still got problems with ur battery you might want to replace it or change your charger...
Hello guys, I am new here but I know I can get the best answers here. So what is my problem? I have an Xperia Z2 which had a problem with the display and it was replaced some months ago. I needed to change the rom and unroot the phone so I can send it for warranty. A was using lollipop 5.0.2. Before sending it for repairing upgraded to 6.0.1 sent it and after I got it back I was not happy with 6.0.1 so I decided to go back to lollipop. Installed many 5.0.2 and 5.1.1 roms(using now 5.1.1 .232 rom) but it makes no difference there is a battery drain that I never had before(before I was at kit kat 4.4.4 upgraded to 5.0.2 and rooted it with kingroot). Now I flashed original 5.0.2 ftf file using flash tool and after that prerooted 5.1.1. rom. Ok what is the problem. Android OS is draining the battery mostly. I tried to install betterbatterystats but it didn't help me to solve the problem I think it was showing suspend_backoff as the main wakelock. The problem mainly occurs when I'm traveling. I don't know why but If I leave the phone at home there is no wakeup, but If it's in my pocket and I`m traveling somewhere it starts to get hot when I check it my battery had dropped a lot and the phone is awake. In power management Android OS is the process that keeps the phone awake. I have disabled all the things that I have never used now and before(before the screen replacement) - GPS, sync, wifi and mobile off, stamina on. I don't know where to search. I don't know what can be the problem. I don't use the phone a lot, tbh I hardly ever use it, I was able to achieve 23 days with a single charge before that but now with these drains it can hardly pass a week. I don't know where to search? Even when it's not keeping the phone awake(or at least the stats are saying so) I lose too much battery(7-8%) per day if I don't use the phone, it was 3-4% before I sent it for replacement. And I had also never seen Android OS or Android System in the battery stats before now I see both. And here comes the 2nd question. Is it normal Android System to keep the phone awake during calls? I noticed that if I activate the speaker Android System is NOT keeping the phone awake, but if I talk as normal without the speaker active Android System keeps the phone awake for the same time that the call takes. I am sure it wasn't like that before because I hardly ever used speaker and never seen Android System shown in the battery stats. I am wondering if this can have something with the fact that when they returned me the phone with screen replaced there is a problem during calls I don't know if it's with the proximity sensor or lighting sensor or something else, but when during a call even tough the screen is off(so the proximity sensor seems to work), I am pressing buttons on the screen with my cheek while talking, that's the reason I am using the power button to manually turn the screen off and this problem does not exist but it's a fact it wasnt like that before the screen change.
I will be glad to hear any ideas and if more info or screenshots of something are required just ask.
For your first question, I AM REALLY IMPRESSED that you said there were a 23 days usage in one single charge, I have NEVER had that much battery life even back in the days when using symbian devices. And 7-8% drop PER DAY is really less than normal and you should thanks God for this. Okay, back onto topic, this "battery drain" should be caused by Google Play Services. Roll back to a previous version of the app so your battery life may come back. And for your second question, the Android OS MUST BE AWAKE in order to run the phone process, it is impossible for you to say it wont run if you turn on speaker.
23 days with minimal(no) usage man but in normal mode with stamina on and perfect 3G signal, not ultra stamina. I was just doing something like a test. There is no way to use it like normal and have that much out of your battery. Actually only calls and not every day. But 10-15 days wasn't a big problem with my usage which is like 10-15 minutes per day on screen and same time for calls. Now this way it can hardly pass a week because of these wakeups.. And 7-8% per day I mean if you DON'T use the phone(deep sleep with stamina on), even in the specs of the phone it's written that it should last 28 days in stand by, but with 7-8% lose per day in STAND BY no way to happen, but it was possible before(when I made the 23 days test). Let's say just rarely checking the clock. Thanks for the advice of google play services I found the same on the internet and already did it. Uninstalled the updates of google play services but the problem is still there now with the stock version I see lower number of processes running under google play services(when I check running apps there are 5 processes, with the latest version there were like 8-9 processes). There is a location service running btw should this one be running when I have turned the GPS off? The problem mainly occurs while traveling so I'm starting to wonder if it's not something connected with the GPS, but it's off according to power management battery stats.
As for the other thing I don't know Android OS(that's only keeping the phone awake when I'm traveling with the phone in the pocket, first part), but I meant Android System is awake during calls. And yeah I can clearly make the difference even in battery drain and also in numbers. While talking on speaker Android System is NOT keeping the phone awake and this way draining less battery(~4% per hour), but if I talk like normal Android System is keeping the phone awake for the same time the call takes and this way the battery drains almost twice faster(7-8% per hour) compared to using the speaker. Haven't checked for the Android OS, if it's keeping the phone awake during call or not, but the Android System does when NOT using speaker.
sup guys
in the first place id like to say a big thankyou to all the people who spend so much time in developing for this amazing phone !
with the help of rudi666 i was able to set up my h960a until it is almost perfect for my needs.
it took me 4 weeks and 3 complete wipes to finally setup a killer custom phone. though its sad that this phone doesnt get more attention. its the best phone ive ever had, very fast, reliable, great screen and cam, killer sound, no bugs at all. with root and 200gb micro SD almost infinite possibillities !
since getting a bigger battery is obligatory for everyday work with this phone, i imported 2 ZL 9000ah from usa, cost me a lot of money (customs robbery) but now i have finally an amazing phone. rootet, flashed twrp, learned a lot about flashing, related commands and all this programming stuff i had no clue about in the first place.
but there is just one issue, the community seems unable to solve:
the insane hardcoded battery-capacity of 3000mah. even after 2 weeks of only getting into just this one problem, i found no way to solve this. no matter what i do, i cant bring the phone to read the 9000mah correctly.
instead, it behaves like many unsers mentioned:
round 1
100% goes down to 0%,
shuts off.
turning the phone on manually again, starts again with 65%.
getting down to 0 again.
turning on manually again, starting with about 8% again.
turning to 0% and now its finished. start to recharge using the LG charger with 2amps.
charging for the first time, phone shows 100% after ~1,5h.
in the first place i thought: oh, that was quick. plug off charger, started to use the phone,
and the battery-information went from 100 to 0 in no time. i was confused until i got deeper into it and finally learned that, unlike my samsung S3 i used with Cyanogen, the V10 is hardcoded with the stock-battery capacity of 3000mah.
with my samsung S3 i had Anker 7000? mah and NO probs at all, everything worked fine.
what i didnt know was, that even when the phone is charging and shows 100% after about 1,5h, it needs another 5-7 hours to charge completely to a "real" 100%.
so i tried EVERYTHING my humble capabilities allowed me to. no success.
i thought that many users have the same problem, and are tired of restarting the phone after just 1/3rd of battery power drained, all the information there is should be collected in one dedicated thread. i only could find spare spreaded information about this issue on XDA.
if anyone knows of a way to set the kernel-capacity manually oder any other solution, i would be really gratefull !
thanks/greetings from berlin germany
hello ? anybody dere ?
echooooOOOOOOOooooooo hello.
after a while of using and about 5x recharging from 10/20% to 100%
AccuBattery Pro shows the estimated capacity at 89XX mah, whats really close to the ZL 9000mah.
and ive noticed that the phone now endures up to 5 days normal usage in ONE session, so no restarting is necessary !
it seems, the phone learned the new bat capacity after a while and the hardcoded 3000mah dont seem to matter anymore.
so, problem solved.
cpuZ and other apps reading the kernel-info still show 3000mah but who cares. i got 5 days in one session.
so i guess this could help some people who also be confused about this issue.
i think ZL should put this information onto their site to inform people who got the same problem as i had.
ECHHOOOOOOOOO....
I run stock 7.1.1 on my Moto Z and lately I have seen that the battery life is terrible. If I take the phone off the charger at say 7am I will be lucky to get to 3pm before needing charging. I don't play games or watch videos using the phone primarily for phone calls (!), texts, email, news reading (I use Google Playstand) and the occasional social media (no Facebook).
The only "customisations" I have are using the Pixel Launcher 3 instead of the Motorola one, the Google camera and the native AOSP dialer rathen than the Motorola one.
I had seen a few posts from folks saying a factory reset might fix it but I want to avoid that if I can with many work apps having quite convoluted processes to get then to authenticate and sign onto to Enterprise servers again,
Thanks
Maybe reflashing the stock ROM via fastboot avoiding the line "fastboot erase userdata" because if you'll avoid this line your personal data wouldn't be erased

Check your battery wear using Accubattery.
I have the same issue. Did you find any solution?
Sent from my Moto Z using XDA Labs
the only thing that help me with this problem, was a factory reset with a fresh install of all the apps, avoiding the restore
You could try to install Greenify https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.oasisfeng.greenify if the phone uses a lot of battery when the screen is off.

I first let the app run for a month... my first value was 83%, which was awfully low...
I could live with anything nearby 90%.
My phone has 1 year and battery was terrible. I've got it replaced and it's working fine now.

HOw did you about that? I went to the Lenovo support forums and a senior agent replied as follows:
https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Moto-Z/MOTO-Z-battery-life-terrible/m-p/3927759#M4349
Only one day but after deleting the cache partition, today's usage is much better - almost 14 hours.
However battery health is only 90% which seems low.
If you follow accubattery recommendations you should keep your phone ideally between 40-70% or at most 20-80% and don't ever let it run to zero unless you're recalibrating the battery and don't charge it to 100%. My Z Force is from August 2016 is at 95%, but even with that there's been a reduction in battery life.

I went to a local repair shop and paid something about 50$ to get it replaced.
I was playing a Daydream VR game that froze up and had to hold the power button to restart. Battery was around 70%, when the phone restarted it showed around 15%. My battery has been downhill since. This was last week. Today I have my phone plugged in charging with the Incipio battery back on and both showed 100% with the phone on. Powered the phone off while still plugged in and the power off screen shows the mod as 100% but my phone battery shows 78% and will continues showing 78% after 15 minutes of charging. Powered it back on and the mod is still at 100% and the phone battery is at 78%. Not sure whats going on. Accubattery shows 57% health after about a week of use. I have a battery replacement ordered...
First signs of the phone going to catch fire like my Z force did.
Took an update and it caused massive issues. Battery life was horrible and started to over heat. Not long later sitting at the Android set up screen about 1% battery drain per minute. Motorola said it's normal and no issues. Phones frame was getting to 90c again Motorola said ots normal and withen spec. Then other caught fire. Can't comment any more due to legal process. I'm just posting stuff I already have when I first seen the issues.
Be careful. Lucky at that point I was charging my phone in a metal pot. So if you see a huge battery drain and start to see overheating and reboots keep it in a metal pot. The pot is what saved my house from burning down.

I think that the incipio mod is the problem, O noted the same behavior using the mod, some weeks ago I purchased the turbo mod and it works better than the incipio.

I'm having the very same problem and will send the phone in for battery replacement.
Hundreds of users are complaining over there in the Lenovo Forums about this problem that came with 7.1.1.
Motorla recommended one user to clear the cache partition, but I don't think this will finally solve the 7.1.1 problems.
Let's wait for a software fix from Lenovo/Motorola or hope for Android 8.0/OREO
I think It's from some weird bug from 7.1.1
I got this problem after flashed 7.1.1 and now, it's in the warranty for battery replacement :/
and with my experience, nothing will fix if you flash back to 7.0.0
Check this too:

I replaced my battery. Before the battery would give 1.5-2 hours screen on time (57 percent drain an hour). Now I'm getting 4-5 hours of screen on time (17 percent drain an hour). Both measurements are on the same Android version 7.1.1 and same settings
