need help with galaxy note 3 - Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 3

okay. probably goona sound dumb but i have a galaxy note 3 that was originally on sprint network. my old boss had it unlocked and flashed it to simple mobile (idk why cause its a gsm network and not compatable) anyways id like to flash it to boost mobile but they tell me i need to unlock it from simple mobile,,,,how do i go about flashing it to boost or atleast back to sprint so boost can flash it over

Hi there,
I will move your thread in the correct forum dedicated to Samsung Note 3 Sprint for more relevant answers.
Good luck

Did you get this figured out? I would flash it back to stock. If you don't have a backup there are plenty of options on here or grab something from sammobile. That should get the ball rolling.

T-Mobile services with i717

OK I have looked and looked but to no avail. Can someone just give me a straight answer. Will the i717 work with a T-Mobile SIM? t-mobile finally works in my area and decided to go with them, on their $30 a month plan. Which is 100 min( I don't talk much) and unlimited text and data ( data up to 5GB first 2 4G, 3G then on also they give you SIM or $.99 if you order their web site Another reason I went with them, cause I can use any unlocked GSM phone on their network. I never had much of a choice when it came to cell service since I live up in the mountains of East Tennessee. Only Verizon and Sprint Picked up at my house. You'd have to go 4 miles down the road to pick any GSM carrier. So any ways I just got a sweet deal on an i717 on eBay for $238 in great condition with some accessories. I read around that the Radio's and can be changed to accommodate T-Mobile's service? I have rooted devices before and know that's not a problem to put a custom ROM it so as to have the right radio. But Need advice on what to do and where to start. Anyone's help and I will forever be indebted to you. I apologize if This has been answered else where ....I just couldn't find it.
Yes this note will run on t-mobile network. Nice plan!
1. Flash CWM kernel.
2. Flash rooted kernel.
3. Flash Blaze modem.
4. Input APN settings.
Everything you need is here on Bigjoe's Super Everything page:

Just follow the above sequence to get to your goal. Flash the fancy roms after you get your rig working.
And hit the thanks button for Bigjoe and the other threads you will visit.
A buddy of mine is wanting to do the same thing only he wants the N7000 instead of the i717. I know that the N7000 in the international Version but could you do the same with what yo explained to me with the i717?
Send a PM to Bigjoe. He is a contributor to the international version as well, so he will guide your friend.

The international version doesn't support the bands and features a different chipset altogether. I wouldn't recommend getting it for T-Mobile, you'll probably be stuck on EDGE data forever.
Tmobile wont work on Note-7000
Brought a international note on Ebay, used with Tmobile in San Francisco area.
Getting only edge speeds.

TMO customer is already aware of the poor upload speeds, again just want it setup and am going nuts tryin to sift through threads that have multiple device discussion cluttered throughout. If you are asking if you can write a verizon PRL to the note 3 yes you can, there are several different ways. PRL helper will work so will any of the methods you use with the GS3 (well probably) as it calls the same hidden settings on the note 3 as on the GS3. Somebody Correct me if wrong about that last part.
I figure you are asking because you want to upgrade to the Noe 3 possibly, go ahead all will be good.

Yes that is why I was asking I am due for an upgrade and I know that the mod works with certain modems ie. Mk3 but I have not seen much talk of such mods avail for the note 3. The ability to write the prl is important because the signal is horrible in my building which I spend 8 hrs in a day

Once upon a time, We activated a Sprint moto q on the Verizon network after flashing but we had to get Verizon's Tech Support to add the phones' MEID to the Verizon network manually. Good luck getting that to work these days.
EDIT: I just remembered ,A Sprint Note 2 doesn't have the SIM card slot needed to work on the Verizon Network. So I don't think it is possible.

hi there doctor-cool. well see what iam trying to do is convert my sprint note into a verizon note. so that i can use the CDMA portion on straight talk since straight talk runs CDMA on verizon network. since i guess sprint note 2 cant be flash to straight talk. i did flashed the DEC from my straight talk into the sprint note 2 but it didnt work. so maybe converting from sprint phone to a verizon version maybe it should work. i tought the SIM card on verizon was only for LTE and not for CDMA.. now iam confused.

On the Verizon Note 2 the SIM card is used to Activate the phone.
