Good Evening,
I have Samsung galaxy alpha g850a AT&T. My device is rooted. after rooting with King Root I deleted Tethering provision apk to enable WiFi Hotspot. I didn't made backup for that. Now I need that apk in nodded form, so that I can enable WiFi Hotspot. I'm not satisfy with Foxfi/Pdanet. If someone have modded apk or the original Tethering Provision apk kindly share. I'll be grateful for that favor.
How you root your alpha?

So first I just want to say that I'm new here, nice to meet you all, and please forgive me if I'm asking this in the wrong place because it's a pretty large forum site, that I figured this was the best place to post my question.
I came because I am complete lost in rooting my Samsung Galaxy S4. I was able to root 2 others before without a problem but this one is basically denying it with Odin.
Carrier is At&t
It is unlocked.
Model is a SAMSUNG-SGH-I337
Baseband is I337UCUAMDL
Hope I can get it resolve here as it is a gift for my mother.
Thank you
Anyone? please.
What do you mean by being denied by Odin? And you have the MK2 update now? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2565758 Works for ATT too if you're on MK2 (root does not depend on the modem version but the build version of the software)..

I mean that it keeps giving me a 'FAIL' whenever I tried rooting it with a .tar file that would usually get it to root.
It's an SAMSUNG SGH-I337
Not sure what more information you would need but would the link you posted help me?
You have to know the build number/version of the software before you know which method to root.

You're also on an older baseband version for that update. You might want to consider upgrading that part too.

There's only a few posts on this thread and 1 of them tells you what info you need to have before anyone can tell you what method to root. Not only that, but it usually varies between which variant of the S4 as well.
Im having time a hard what version of root im gonna use on my S4 5.0.1 GT-I9505..

I tried using a program called Kingo to Root a Samsung Galaxy Mega SGH - M819N Metro PCS running Kit Kat 4.4.4 and it keeps on saying Root Failed after it reboots my phone. Does anyone have a program or app that can help me root this phone. I have encryption enabled on the phone would that affect the rooting process?

Looking for the same thing myself, b4 updating to Stock KK. Someone mentioned using TWRP (or whichever) to "Flash the latest SuperSU". Maybe that would work???
If you get a way, would you please post it here for me and I'll do the same for you?

Google and XDA search function will be your best friend in this case. Patience and intuitive thinking will be your greatest assets.
the latest kingroot (purify) work for me, 4.8. then remove and replace with SU.
