[RESOLVED] Xperia Z2 tablet Verizon will not boot, no flashmode please help - Xperia Z2 Tablet Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

EDIT: turns out the store I can mail it into has a free diagnostic mail in service, I will do this as after all my searching it's proved I am not skilled enough to tackle this myself
Hello, this is my first post here. I looked around for hours and cannot find a solution.
I'm hoping this isn't the red LED of death. I don't think it is but I'm not sure.
Anyway, my tablet refuses to boot. I press the power button and no LED, just a vibration. When I plug it into both the computer USB and an outlet the red led blinks once a second with a vibration each time. I can get into fast boot and it is detected in flash tool then, but not in flash boot mode. It flashes green once then red with the vibration once every second.
I can get into recovery mode but factory reset does nothing, to me it seems I need to flash it with a stock image but is there a way to do that with fastboot and not flashmode? I'd really like to fix this myself as I'm not exactly in a position financially to send it anywhere to be fixed any help would be appreciated

[Q] Blue Notification LED always on

The DIM blue notification light stay on all the time, no matter if i use the phone or it is on standby/sleep.
I tried checking/unchecking all the boxes in the LED settings, no change.
The LED is dim blue, and no matter what i do it won't change.
It stays on even after I shut down the phone.
I removed the battery for about 10 mins, then I soon as i inserted it back in, the LED turned on, same as before.
Has anyone else had this problem before?
no, this does sound weird, but may i suggest a hard reset to see if it will be fixed?
apparently samsung has the hard reset as their primary fix for everything on their support site!
I did the hard reset suing the power+vol up+ home button and after reboot same problem.
I forgot to mention my S3 has its stock firmware rooted, but no other changes made to the firmware.

[SOLVED] Not charging, not booting, not booting into recovery?

So I installed CM12.1 on this bad boy, and I stopped using it for weeks. Come time I found the tablet and started charging it, it just keeps restarting and doesn't seem to charge.
Occasionally I could get it to recovery, but I would at least want to get it to boot up so I could use it.... Any help appreciated!

EDIT: Solved, what I had to do was:
- During the infinite charge loop with the big battery and thunder symbol, wait for it to show the Sony logo, then let it load the CM12.1 battery (small one)
- Then hold the power button until it goes back to the Sony logo
- Boot into recovery using the volume key at orange light, then reboot into bootloader (a blue light will light up)
- Then let it charge in that mode.
- Wake up in the morning and you'll have enough power to boot up into the tablet.

Stuck on boot animation.

After leaving the tablet to charge overnight, I found that it was stuck on the wave animation. Holding the power button fixed it and gave me the ability to use it again. Unplugged charger and thought tablet was ok. After a while I find that it's stuck in the animation again, so I figure a restart would do it good, after holding the power button for who knows how long I manage to restart it, but it gets stuck at the "restarting" message. After a while it falls asleep and when I wake it up, it is once again stuck in the animation. I hold power button, but this time nothing happens, so I open the micro SD thing next to the charger thing, and press the tiny red thing beside the black thing(sd card?) and it shuts down. Holding the power button to start it takes it first to the Sony text, then some more Sony text, but after that it gets stuck in the wave animation. Another thing to note is that I was using about 90% of it's storage so was thinking this is a reason.
Anyone know of a fix?
I'm open to installing a custom ROM or factory resetting it, don't really have anything important that I want to recover, just want to turn it into something usable again.
A link to one of these guides would be helpful.
When plugging it into PC via USB I cannot get it to show up in xperia Companion. It does show up in Devices I think, but I can't use it for anything.

Click to collapse
Test to charge over night and then in the fastboot mode.
No charge mean, a empty battery by flashing?
Good luck
