Hoping for some help. Phone will not boot into fastboot or flashmode. ADB works fine (adb reboot bootloader just reboots normally) and recovery works fine (TWRP), but I can't get it into flashmode (and thus go back to 26.3 FTF) nor fastboot. Both volume buttons function normally. I did a fresh driver install from flashtool without any success (in windows unsigned driver mode).
Any ideas on what I need to do to get flashmode and fastboot back?

sorry i didn't get you..
are you asking me to reinstall the drivers on PC?
Also i could able to detect the device in recovery mode. as you know couldn't able to flash in recover mode
Thanks
Yes I was referring to the pc drivers. And do you mean that your pc recognizes your phone when its in recovery mode ???
#Root-Hack_Mod*Always\
yes it recognizes in recovery but when i try to flash using fastboot.. it's just waiting for the device
Thanks
Did you put your device in fastboot mode then plug into your pc ?? Try this if you haven't already.
Power off your phone.
Then press and hold the volume up button.
Then tap/press the power button.
Keep the volume up button pressed untill you see a white screen. Thats your hboot screen. Then plug your phone into your pc. Or if your running a rom that has the option to boot into the bootloader you can do it that way. Or if your running twrp you can boot into the bootloader by selecting reboot from the menu then selecting bootloader. Then try and flash your boot.img

Hello,
I'm trying to install TWRP on my m4 aqua. I already unlocked the bootloader and rooted it. Now im trying to install TWRP without success. With a command prompt, my devices won't be detected. And with a install.bat file nothing happens on my phone. The normal adb and fastboot drivers were successfully installed but i can't install the flashtool drivers to start the fastboot mode. Also with the Volume - button the phone boots normaly. So im now trying it with this TWRP app from the teamw.in (can't post the link) website with the modell xperia m but im not sure if it works. Can someone help me ?

Lollipop or Marshmallow? Why can't you intall the drivers from flashtool? It boots normally probably because of missing the drivers. And to enter fastboot, you need to hold Volume UP and then connect the USB. If your BL is unlocked, then you can easily flash the TWRP through fastboot mode. In Command p. Fastboot flash recovery "recovery name".img usually it's recovery.img . But without the correct drivers, your phone will not be recognized properly.

I'm using Lollipop 5.0 on my phone. When i'm trying to install the drivers i always get that error: installation failed. Ahhh Thanks its Volume UP. But after this the led lights blue and then comes the charge indicator. Is it normal ?
I now installed TWRP with a bat file. But with Volume UP and usb cable I don't come in the Menu. And with Volume UP and Power the phone just vibrate a few times.
I am having a REAL BUGGER of a time with my Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro (Snapdragon)!
1. It is not recognized by ADB in Fastboot mode.
2. I suspect it shipped wit a vendor ROM, and I'm trying to flash latest Official MIUI Global Dev (Marshmallow) ROM, but I keep getting errors in MI Flash (screenshot attached).
3. I want to Flash TWRP, BUT ADB isn't working, AND I cannot get to the download page for the cracked bootloader.
4. Seriously considering Resurrection Remix ROM, instead, but most of the above issues still apply.
I am NOT new to custom recoveries, flashing ROMS, ADB etc, BUT I am dealing with a new PC (Windows 10 Home, 64 bit, like my old (dead) laptop), and I'm new to this device.
PLEASE HELP. (Quite frustrated)
Fastboot won't recognize adb commands you have to use fastboot.
What you can try is booting into emergency download mode and using my flash to flash it from there. I think it's " adb reboot edl" while the device is on with USB debugging or using the mi updater app ( tap the three dots I think).
I think that this is not the correct section for your question, and i dont know the procedure that you follow but try to follow this procedure:
-Connect the phone at pc with USB cable
-Make sure that debug mode and OEM unlock was abilitate in dev settings
-Copy twrp.img in adb folder
-Shut down the phone and press power botton and - vol buttons for enter in fastboot mode
-Run this commands by terminal open in adb folder
fastboot devices
-If fastboot recognize correctly the device run this command
fastboot fash recovery nameoftwrp.img
-After reboot the device with this command
fastboot reboot
When the phone reboot press immediatily vol + for enter in twrp
Good luck
GOT IT! FINALLY!
-I finally got ADB to connect, and was able to enter EDL through ADB.
-Re-downloaded ROM from web.
-Re-extracted.
-FLASHED SUCCESSFULLY!
-SETUP COMPLETED SUCCESSFULLY!
-YAY!
(I think the original download was corrupted, somehow.)

After flashing twrp with sp flash tools, i am not able to enter into recovery, however i push volume up + power buttons... Phone keeps booting into normal android mode instead.
USB Vcom driver successfully installed, and spflash tool seems to work fine. Any ideas?
After flashing:
reboot with vol-down and power in that "chinese recovery thing" (look like this http://visihow.com/images/9/99/Samsung-chinese-factory-reset.png )
then connect phone with pc and reboot with adb in "real" recovery (adb reboot recovery)
if you boot normal first, recovery gets overwritten by default recovery
I boot into bootloader by pressing home button + power
adb reboot recovery
Dont boot to twrp
I flashing recovery, but I dont boot to twrp. Which version twrp you used?
Hi,
i tried to upgrade to the latest 11.0.6 global ROM and as usually I only booted to TWRP and sideloaded the ROM. Bootloader is unlocked, already flashed a lot of different stock & custom ROMs.
adb reboot fastboot
fastboot boot twrp.img (used 3.2.3 with working recovery)
[factory reset from within TWRP]
adb sideload [the new 11.0.6 ROM]
adb sideload had an error 7 at some point and did not finish. No big deal I thought -> [reboot system] from within TWRP and tried to enter fastboot again at first boot [volume down]
BUT: now I am not able to enter fastboot again. The phone starts with the orange 'POCOPHONE by Xiaomi' screen and seems to reset after a minute or so -> loop. Holding [volume down] while booting only brings a black screen (not off, a little grey but no fastboot logo etc.). Probably, fastboot didn't flash correcly. Also, it is not recognized either in fastboot or adb.
Anybody else had this before? Is there something I can try to revice it? Any helpful information is highly welcome,
thanks
I'm no expert, did you try another data cable? Just in case you could use a dry toothbrush and clean the phone's connector . What does the computer says in power+volume down mode? It should say what device you're connecting and add drivers.
There might be a way to repair the bootloader , it involves qcom tool. There's a guide somewhere. I'd try first change cable and computer.
