To God be the glory, my AOKP NOUGAT project finally works!
This is not a dirty unicorn. This is the original unicorn, the AOKP. Now made out of Nougat! That's right, all of the AOKP stuff you love, plus LineageOS, plus a built in side bar, and more! All wrapped up into one! With tons of settings from status bar tweaks to button remaps, it's all here and ready to rumble!
**** This is an UNOFFICIAL ROM. Install at your own risk! ****
You must be on a 6.0.1 Bootloader with a 6.0.1 modem! I suggest if you are unsure, flash stock 6.0.1, then install this ROM!

-Which I personally tested Arm 7.0 Nano.
Data Fix (For T-Mobile phones):
https://forum.xda-developers.com/no...ment/ril-data-fixes-6-0-1-bootloader-t3546110
However, the T-Mobile variant already has it's very own version of this rom in the T-Mobile thread! I did test this however, and it works.
Be sure to follow these installation steps very carefully, as they may be different then what you are used to.
Installation instructions:
-Put your phone on the 6.0.1 Bootloader and Modem
-Download ROM and gapps, and put them on your phone or external storage.
-Reboot into recovery mode - TWRP (I personally installed this using Mickey's 3.0.0-0).
-Backup what you had. (Just to be safe.)
-Wipe. (I personally wipe everything prior to flashing new roms, but at least do the basic wipe.)
-Install Rom.
-Install Gapps. - Optional
- If using the kernel, let the rom boot, then come back to recovery and flash the AKLU kernel.
- If using another variant, let the rom boot, then come back to recovery and flash a data zip.
-Reboot to system and enjoy!
I do not recommend installing superSU on this ROM! SU permission is already built in, and superSU has been causing problems with the rom. Please read the thread for further details.
What works :
Code:
+ Phone calls/receiving
+ Data 2g/3g/LTE
+ Bluetooth
+ WiFi
+ MTP
+ GPS/Glonass
+ S PEN
+ The WiFi hotspot does work with the AKLU kernel.
etc....
What doesn't :
Code:
- The edge panel is not implemented at this time. The screen wraps around the edge.
But there is an app bar feature under ROM CONTROLS!
- The capacitive buttons work, but do not illuminate.
- The WiFi hotspot does not work with the stock kernel, but does with the AKLU kernel.
- Fingerprint sensor is really flaky. I got it to work once with fingerprint scanner tools to turn on the flashlight, but only once. Most times it will not register.
- I have not found any big errors, fault crashes, or problems yet. Please let me know if you find an issue!
This AOKP N ROM was built for the tbltexx, the International Samsung Galaxy Note Edge. I have not tried this on any other device, but you are welcome to try it AT YOUR OWN RISK. You may need to edit the META-INF updater script to accomplish this. Note, this can flash directly to the T-Mobile variant, but the T-Mobile variant has it's own thread with this rom: https://forum.xda-developers.com/no...evelopment/rom-aokp-nougat-built-bar-t3558263
Code:
Disclaimer: AOKP is not responsible for any damages to your device.
All of my work is completely available for any who wish to use or modify it. I didn't make AOKP, the device trees, or vendor blobs. I simply used and edited existing material. A huge thanks should go to those who actually created this stuff.

Background image:
https://qlfiles.net/2017/01/07/upload-fractal-images/
The background images that I used in this ROM came from the Quiet Learner. You should check out his mathematical artwork, including 3D mandelbox images!
If the screen looks red-ish, check the settings->display->live display options, you may want to turn them off, it is a low light sensitive display option.
Data Zips: T-Mobile users with device model = unknown:
If you are using a N915T (like myself), the fix is very easy!
-Open /system/build.prop in any text editor
-Anywhere in the file, add this line:
Code:
ro.build.model=SM-N915T
Save and exit, then reboot your phone. You can check "about phone" under settings, you should see yourself as SM-N915T, and apps like XDA should report you as Samsung Galaxy Note Edge.
Apps:
Swiftkey Keyboard - This keyboard can be set so the keyboard does not wrap around the screen.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.touchtype.swiftkey
Spen Command - This app cost a few dollars, but enables the Spen to be somewhat smart again, rather than just a pointer stick.

If you find something else that will help other users, please let me know by posting in the thread!

When u say built in sidebar what do u mean? And I would love to try it but I really want an overclocked kernel something like
2.9ghz or so with GPU overclocked to around 750-800. The reason being is that when I use the emotion kernel I get insane GPU scores, around 26,000 compared to the 19,000 range with the aokp kernel. If u could do that I would s**t my pants lol. I would do it but I can't seem to figure out how to build the kernel and since u upgraded to the new 6.0 bootloader does your kernel building guide got updates on that so I can at least give it a shot again?

Hi... this ROM is also compatible with the model Verizon, Sprint, US Cellular (SM-N915P, SM-N915V, SM-N915R4)?! Thanks!

come from rr 5.8
Hi i tested this rom now for a few hours and it runs very smooth. For the moment i did not find any issues.
Thanks for this nougat rom

By side bar app, I do not mean the "edge" panel, but with the popularity of edge style phones, the AOKP has implemented a type of panel that when you tap the curved edge of the screen, a pop out drawer of your selected apps shows on the edge area.
Yes well, my kernel is a bit more on the conservative side. But, as always, I do encourage everyone to start building, it's really fun and rewarding.
As for the build instructions, they are the same, just with the new material, so I will not be updating them at this time.

Good question. In a word, no. However, another user in the data zip thread (referenced in op) successfully used the data zip to flash an international ROM to his us cellular phone. You can read more about it there.

I installed the ROM yesterday. I came from the European/German Version MM 6.0 N915FYXXU1DPE1_DBT. I followed the instructions on the first post and had no problems. I installed the AKLU-Kernel, too.
There's no edge and the fingerprint works bad. Finally I'm only working with a PIN. But the ROM is fast, stable, slim and it runs very smooth. I hope, that the development of this ROM goes on.
Next I try the implemented edge-feature and the hint for SPen-using by a third-party app. And perhaps I'll format the sd-card as internal storage. But for that I need a better card.
Thank you very much for this great work. :good:

So I can build using the guide and it will be the 6.0 kernel source? Or the 7.1 source?

Use the nougat source from my github to build the aklu kernel. I also recommend the 4.8 arm eabi toolchain.

When the lock screen wake up automatically to show a notification, the display is very dark. Is there a setting to change this?
Thank you
Apropos, the SPenCommand-app from post 1 is very good. Better than the original tool from Samsung itself.

I do not know for sure. You can try, but you may need to edit the updater-script.
Hope that helps!

Loaded up the TMO version and so far is running smooth with the exception of some weirdness around the back and recent apps hw buttons. They seem to be acting properly but are not lighting up. I went into ROM control and tried to adjust. Interestingly when I have the screen open for adjusting time on they do light up, but then go black again after closing the adjustment box. There is also no vibration when hitting those 2 buttons. Im not getting anything useful in the logs that I can see. I tried reflashing but no change in behavior. Any suggestions? Am I the only one seeing this?

By the way, this rom supports substratum (oms).
I tested the inversion ui theme successfully.

I can confirm, that the lights don't go.
Is the battery drain better with the original kernel from the rom? The AKLU kernel is fast and hungry.

Yes, I also see that only the red led and yellow led are working for notifications. I'll take a look at that later as well. Thanks for the feed back!
As for the kernel, the cm kernel is something I don't use much, so I am not too sure how it is on battery.
I too had a battery drain issue, but when I agent to the battery stats I saw that the phone was waking up all the time. I then realized that my email app, blue mail, was not optimized, nor was my freelab messenger, once I optimized those, the battery life improved. I do agree though, it could be better.
As I am sure you know, your settings, like in kernel adiutor, will have a significant impact on your battery. The default settings are aggressive.

Welcome to VanirAOSP. Our mission is to deliver a clean optimized version of Android with subtly improved versions of the features you love to as many devices as possible. we've tried to incorporate and improve our features in a way that makes them more cohesive to improve the overall user experience while correcting any performance regressions and improving functionality..
What to expect:
- This is not a McCopy ROM. What goes into our build is well thought-out and not a bunch of stuff duck taped together because we could.
- maximum optimization. We do our research. We test hard. We build -fstrict -O3 globally and include a massive array of code optimizations and memory leak fixes that we write ourselves and eventually submit to AOSP or Linaro.
- originality in our source. We generate a lot of new commits being features or general code improvements. We are open source to share and improve the community but we also try to make sure we offer a unique experience.
- aesthetics.. hopefully in your opinion
General features:
stock mode - ability revert to stock AOSP code with the exception of a few custom features we chose to keep active
enhanced performance.. longer uptime with less slowdown
custom written CRON and init.d.
UI and graphics improvements
custom navbar, navring, and hardware key features
halo (active display & lockscreen notifications are in review)
usability improvements like power reboot menu and sound
animation control
Improved Vanir keyboard

Yeah, not sure why.
After installing the ROM my Internal Storage is now encrypted. Why?
**Internal Storage will no longer mount after installing B66-Commotio-m8.zip.
Camera force closes on first open.
Tried reboot and no luck.
CPU max and min frequency is the max frequency.
Need performance application to force min to 300MHz and even then it goes back after a reboot with set on boot checked.

Yeah, that's exactly what I've done and I think it finally went through. Appears to be working fine now.
bugs in the 5/25 build
I have noticed a couple minor bugs in the 5/25. I fresh flashed and I'm running the m8vzw. Other than these minor issues, i'm loving it! Great work!
Camera force crashes- even after trying to install the google camera w/ slim's camera fix.
Advanced reboot in developer options is checked by default, but the advanced reboot menu does not show. You have to disable and then re-enable the advanced reboot option in order to make it work.
EDIT: The fix from the carbon rom thread works to fix the camera FC's. Flash here-- http://tinyurl.com/kbeja8g
ATT?
I just noticed Vanir/Commotio and I am PUMPED. Love your work with the LG-G2 and of course my old Galaxy S3/4.
It does seem that some are having some issues, so I wanted to know if it was safe for ATT M8 at this point?
I know there were some issues putting people off at the moment. But has anyone tried any of the more recent nightlies.?
Is the nightly taking CM fixes? I.e. camera fixed, etc

Camera fixed, adb fixed, only major issues that might be left is the encrypted storage bug and the landscape video bug
This seems like a pretty sweet build, just from reading the OP. Might have to try this.

Thank you bonuzzz and Valera1978. This OmniROM directly built from source is out of the box the smoothest and reactive ROM I've seen on the T-900, and it's also fully Open Source AOSP. I have been fortunate to run this version in alpha and beta over the past 4 or 5 days and I have not seen any extraordinary issues with the release., on the contrary it's the most reactive ROM currently existing for the T-900.
Note for v.2 - Be very patient in flashing v2, from that system format starts in TWRP until extraction kicks in there's currently a delay of up to 3 minutes
Just as under the SM-T900 cm11 tread, I have performed some functionality testing of the device and some extra features, they are shown below as working, not working or not tested. The functionality grid was developed based on weaknesses in earlier AOSP builds and ports for the large format Samsung Tab/Note Pro family:
- mtp - to activate go to Settings/About tablet/ and tap 8 times on Build number - The menu will now have Settings/{ } Developer options/ activated. Check mark USB debugging notify.
- adb
- External SD - working out of the box
- Ext4 SD card mounting on external SD card - Unfortunately, I don't have a free SD Card to test with, if someone is interested in performing the test and report back it would be great, but theoretically it should work
- USB OTG including USB storage
- Off-mode charging
- Encryption - failed restoration of encrypted backup data in TWRP 2.8.1.1, but this must be a TWRP issue - Encryption process in ROM takes about an hour to perform, if someone is interested in performing the test and report back it would be great, but theoretically it should work
-----------------------------------------
- Lid sensor
- IR blaster - I've used IR2.0
- OC settings - located in Settings/Performance/ if you swipe right between the grids a"power menu" is shown where a multitude of performance settings and information is available, most of them currently not used.
- Advanced reboot - to activate go to Settings/About tablet/ and tap 8 times on Build number - The menu will now have Settings/{ } Developer options/. Check mark Advanced reboot.
- Screen Rotation only seem to react if the app has a default setting. You can use the Set Orientation, or the Ultimate Rotation Control app to pick the rotation you desire.
-----------------------------------------
- Play Store
- Google Play movies download and playback
- Google Play streaming Movies & TV
- DRM - tested with Audible, Google Books and Amazon Kindle
-----------------------------------------
- Zona
- Popcorn Time - need upgrade to latest version 2.3 beta, includes built-in VPN and Chromecast support with subtitles, earlier version timed out
- YouTube 1080p playback - 1440p will work w. v5.9.0.12, but I believe this to be a false positive
- Netflix
-----------------------------------------
- Chromecast with #MirrorEnabler hack, allowing for screen cast
- MHL connector
- Miracast
-----------------------------------------
- Capacitive lights - I assume this is the backlights for the capacitive buttons
- Capacitive keys
- Home button - correct function performed
- Brightness manual + auto
- Vibrator
-----------------------------------------
- GPS lock and voice directed navigation
- WiFi both 2.4 GHz & 5 GHz are working
- Bluetooth
- Microphone
- Audio on both speakers
- Headphones
-----------------------------------------
- Camera - in progress the camera "works", but does not allow for single shots to be taken, and crashes in video mode, but panorama shots are working
- Torch as of v2
- Camera Sensors as of v2
-----------------------------------------
- Xposed Framework and modules - need re-initialization after each boot (common to all cm ROM's)
- Superuser - installation of SuperSU from TWRP is recommended - make sure to enter into SuperSU settings and execute "Install SuperSU backup script", under the CUSTOM ROM label, before re-flashing a ROM update.
- Hangouts Dialer phone calls via Hangouts
-----------------------------------------
All fixes are in progress and will hopefully be sorted out in the new upcoming release
The following are standard limitations and options for OmniROM:
Write access to your external SD-card works out of the box, but just in case i suggest to d/l JRummy's SD KitKat Fixer
init.d support also works out of the box, otherwise d/l Uni-init by Ryuinferno.
If you think to much heat is building up use Performance/Governor set to ondemand, or conservative and I/O Schedduler to bfq, in addition to increase battery time you can set Wi-Fi/Advanced/Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep/ to Only when plugged in and make sure the Wi-Fi/Advanced/Wi-Fi optimization/ is checked and reduce Display/Sleep/ to below 1 minute. You can also use some apps to improve battery eg Easy Battery Saver, or the more sophisticated AutoCon+ Save Battery & Data and and to put hanging apps to hibernation Greenify that I believe require Xposed Installer. To improve charging time, you can use an app eg Faster Charger. Finally, I have also used PurePerformances in order to further improve the performances and VIPER4AndroidFX to allow for louder speaker sound and enhanced listening experience.
new version is released. sensors are fixed. camera is not working yet
I have read about, and been curious about, omnirom for a long time now. I love this tab smt 900 but have not had a lot of luck with development so far. I am a tinkerer, i like to flash a rom, tweak to my satisfaction and run it for a long time. I will stay here for a few days to see if it gains speed and these issues are fixed. If so, it looks like a great daily driver. Currently running the cm build that @arcadia2uk helped with. THANK YOU ALL for your efforts and contributions so people like me can have so much fun. Looking forward to it.

That is the exact setup I am using on the SM T900. XHalo and Floatifications. It is close to halo on PA. I am on the cm 11 ROM but I am confident the ROM is irrelevant as to functionality.
I'm a huge fan of OmniROM and very happy to have it on my T900.
I'm shocked this project hasn't gathered more interest, CM is becoming convoluted while Omni, strictly IMHO, is generally a lighter/cleaner ROM.

Good question... There is nothing to release. Onmi L is very unstable for this tab because it doesn't have support of exynos platform. I dont have enough time and patience to port everything to omni. So I recommend to take a look to CM11.

Man, I'm sorry to hear you say that.
I'm running Omni on my T900 and love it. Everything runs fine for me. The only problem I run into, frequently, is the sensor issue. Basically I can't get the screen-rotation working with any consistency. Every now and then I can play with display auto-rotate settings (disabling, running an app while in a certain orientation, then enabling auto-rotate again .. things like this) that will prompt a rotation. However, 95% of the time I can't get the screen to rotate.
Other than that, I have zero problems with your port to the T900. It would be great if you would stick it out, it's a great alternative to CM!
Thanks again!

That is good news. From page 1 it states backlight & camera not working. In this case, will give it a test run. Sounds like fun & thanks!:good:
P.S. Isn't the T900 the SWEETEST tablet you have ever put your hands on?!?!?
Reporting back...
Hi,
I installed OmniROM and was immediately pleased with 1 thing in particular...OmniROM's brightness level (on the brightest level), seemed to be brighter than CM12. I liked the status bar mods (network in / out counters), date / time mods but would nice to be able to adjust colors indepently and also support theming. The camera works fine. I do have issues with auto rotation and hard keys backlight don't illuminate. Other than these 2 items, the ROM boots very fast, stable & responsive. Great job & will keep an eye out for updates. I am happy to be a test / data point and will be running OmniROM as my daily driver for the time being.
Kind Regards,

Any reason why T320 is not have this ROM? Its Snapdragon based so I would have thought it would be easier.
The camera stopped working for me or perhaps wasn't working fully before. Any chance on an update that will fix camera?
Appreciate it...

Appreciate the tip.
I actually went back to CM12 but miss a lot of things about OmniROM. I am rather surprised there are not more custom ROMs available in general for the Tab Pro 12.2" (SM-T900) [Beanstalk, Slim, PAC, etc.]. You would think there would be given the greatness of this tablet regarding size and performance. I keep patiently hoping and waiting with optimism.

Don't know why but it's really buggy for me....opened color os camera and took a photo and when tried to take another photo the app crashed and error "couldn't connect to camera" appeared. With snapdragon camera too. Icons on statusbar are misaligned...battery icon is bigger than signal icon and the arrows of the signal are misaligned...
Dark theme option would be nice

@pradeepsmehra +1. the icons look ugly.Data activity indicators are not aligned properly. Wifi and network icons on the status bar shuffles while switching them and upon action of activity indicators.
Couldn't resist and tested it. This ROM is amazing. If you could fix NFC and fix the upside down rotation, I'm in. It does have 32 second slow shutter, so I think 64 could be added in a near future.
I want to suggest some changes and some features.
Can you add some kind of Theme Chooser like the CM one? That would be nice.
I can see this ROM becoming a big thing. Can you choose to let it be like non rooted? Since flashing SuperSu gives you root acces, I'd like to have this one unaltered, some apps detect root acces and don't work.
Can you add an option in settings similar to CyanogenMod to change buttons behaviour. I'm so used to the menu button being recents instead. Menu button does nothing useful in stock Lollipop.
Is there a boot animation we can add to change the Oppo logo? I know you can change a boot animation, but it would be nice to see a custom one where you know who is making this ROM possible. A custom Project Spectrum by Pmehra boot animation.

MoKee Open Source is the biggest non-profit Android Open Source development team in China, with members from all parts of the world. We follow the latest development from Google closely and improve various parts of Android according to the user habits. Being a non-profit organisation, we utilise our spare time and own funds to keep this passion alive. Therefore, the costs for the forum and servers are solely beared by us. In order to provide a good user experience, we only included a few preinstalls in the ROM. Along with the advertisements in the forum; we hardly get enough to pay for the bandwidth. The point is, those are our only source of income, however many developers choose to exclude them when releasing unofficial builds. Unlike CyanogenMod, we did not accept monetary help at the early stages, as in China, most people do not understand the meaning of “making a donation”. They would think of it as buying a service, which is conflicting with our objectives. Anyways, we still made it until today, and even started to provide third party developers a chance to utilise our OTA system. All of these are the fruit of our hard work and passion. We are proud of the happy users, and we are also proud of the support given to MoKee Open Source. Most importantly, we are proud of the improvements we have achieved all these while, and the advancements never stop.

@ronks888 Just flashed the ROM. In love with it :highfive: Thank you for building. I guess this is going to be my daily driver for a while. Please continue to provide updates and also wish it becomes official soon.
P.S. Jio network doesn't have APN on the first boot and had to add manually (just letting it know here in case someone is flashing)
Thanks for Sharing

Hi, can you please let me know a few of things since you are already on this ROM.
1. SeLinux policy (Permissive or Enforcing).
2. Battery life.
3. Navbar vibration intensity (whether too high like LOS).
4. Status bar notification compatibility (whether dot or i on gets out of the notch line).
5. Any random reboots (mostly when device is in idle).
6. Any performance issue such as occasional lag or freeze (mainly when performing heavy task or gaming).
7. Auto brightness (whether stable or fluctuates too much).
8. Whether ctsPtofile gets passed on Magisk or need additional magisk module for that.
9. Last but not the least, how is the touch response (I'm sure you know what I am talking about).
Thank you for taking your time to read and answer.

1. Actually I can't find SELinux policy (yeah it's very strange for me)
2. Battery life is very good. Probably due to the Mokee kernel
3. Vibration is perfect. I'd say medium intense comparing to those high intensity and low intensity in other ROMs
4. Notifications get a dot on both the sides
(However there still needs to be customisation of battery style and usage of 4G instead of LTE - @ronks888)
5. No random freezes or reboots at all. (I know how it is because I had been testing ROMs and I had random reboot in AOSiP and random freezes in test build of official Citrus CAF)
6. No performance issue at all. I'm not a gamer so I can't comment on the gaming performance at all. But all apps load quick and fast and switching b/w recents was smooth
7. Auto brightness is very stable
8. CtsProfile will never get passed on Magisk V18 . Check the below tweet quote
https://twitter.com/topjohnwu/status/1072812881232715776?s=19
9. I am on the latest vendor 8.12.10 and it's all fine for me. (8.12.7 was buggy and I literally went back to 8.11.15 )
Overall , there's couple of UI only work that needs to be done like battery style and 4G icon. It's all those status bar options.
Rest everything is very nice. I'm finally sticking to this ROM for quite sometime
@ronks888 The status bar icons (battery, wifi etc) on the lockscreen need to aligned like the Home screen status bar icons. The lockscreen status bar icons appear to be pushed too much towards the edge. Rest so far so good. The rom is serving me excellent battery life with no UI lags and is very lightweight and brisk to use.

Strange! I'm on NOS (it's still in BETA) with Magisk 18.0 and ctsProfile passes without needing to flash any magisk module.
Anyway, I will try Mokee tomorrow along with miui stable pie (stock & EU) and let see which one suits my taste.
This rom has framework boost implemented?

Making an assumption that this is the follow-on forum for PE 11(from PE+ 10). If that assumption is correct, HOORAY and congrats. Look forward to working with PE 11 (been using the PE11 beta for 2+ months now and it's really stable and seems to work great). Appreciate your efforts.
is april build stable? or

So far, it seems stable and reliable. I did have a minor problem installing...I tried to do a dirtly flash (over the March PE 11 beta). It appeared to work but I had flakey problems after the first reboot and they got worse as time went on...My dirty flash was just initializing dalvic and cache. I personally wouldn't recommend trying that based on my issues.
My second try was to wipe Data, Dalvic and Cache, and that (clean flash) seems to have worked fine. Everything I've tried (so far) has worked properly and everything seems stable. Pain in the neck to reconfigure all apps and screens but it seems to be working properly...I did use a restore from Google backup to re-establish most apps and local files (photos, etc) and they all came thru properly. It was just the layout of the (3) screens of icons, and app configuration (passwords, etc) that took some time.

PS: it is still beta, so if you're not comfortable with tweaking/adjusting/going with the flow, you might be better off to wait...YMMV

Smooth AF and Volte working!
Damn this is good Rom dude!!
Found a minor difference and was wondering if it's a "feature" , bug, or something else...
I used to have the current local temperature on my lock screen just below the time, on the same line as any upcoming alarms. It is now missing. I still have the alarms, but no temperature. I can't remember when it showed up (several releases ago I think), and also can't remember if it was put there by a setting or app. Anyone have any ideas?
After more research, this appears to be a "feature" of the AOSP variant of PE (the version that PE 10 wound up being). Therefor, can this be added to PE 11...Please.
Thanks

When you say not booting...taking a long time for the first reboot after install is normal (takes 2+ minutes) Are you getting to the boot animation(bouncing dots)? If not, there may be a problem with your download. If it's getting to the animation, let that go for a while (way longer than a regular reboot). Good luck.

Thanls for the pointer...
waah! great effort by the team, ui is cool & buttery smooth, there is no lag while using multiple apps, date and time interface in status drop down menu looks sporty. PP-UI 11 is ahead of PE 11.
Highly recommended rom. people who got bored out of PE give this a try

i think, inbuilt app lock has some issues with stability. i mean app lock works fine but after enabling lock for few apps the os was not stable, it just hangs, os works fine again if only i reboot from recovery mode. normal reboot/system don't work
Very nice work by @ZJRDroid as usual.
Attached some screenshots since I couldn't find it anywhere.
VoWiFi does not work with T-Mobile USA and its MVNOs.
I enabled VoWiFi in settings, set it to Wi-Fi only, but it still use cellular connection. The same is true if I set to "Wi-Fi preferred" .
Stock ROM (Android 8.1) works correctly with VoWiFi.
Both tested with T-Mobile USA and Tello (T-Mobile's MVNO) SIM cards.
VoLTE works without problems.
