Hi guys, i wonder if someone had this issue as mine ...I rooted my p760 using Kingo root. I installed Busybox from google play. Next, i installed L9 recovery ( Clockworkmod reovery). I entered into recovery, >>factory wipe, then ''Wipe cache'', then "Wipe dalvik cache", and finaly i choose "install zip from external sd and tried to install the ROM. But it failed. And i tried several ROMs. One time, it just said thats an error on the rom ( pacman rom), with another rom it said that the rom i want to flash is for p760 but mine is p940 ( ?! ) , another time with another rom it flashed the rom, but got the "" LG security error" message at boot. ( but i restore from that using LG support tool 2014 and flashing original kdz). I just cant understand what im doing wrong... The stock rom is working soo bad, so i want a custom one ...

Hi, I think you should try EdwinMoq’s TWRP.

Hello!
I have a problem with my Jiayu G3, I rooted it using Bin4ry's method, and used CWM to flash Android 4.1.2 , all was finished well, but whenever I tried to powe the phone , it always went into a boot loop. I read somewhere to try and flash Lewa Recovery using CWM, and now the G3 won't even boot into CWM and Android.
Any help is much appreciated. Thank you.

I think you will have to flash a new rom using mtk sp flash tool. You may have to try several versions before one works. Jiayu.es (in Spanish) should have all the files you need. Or, hopefully you made a backup and can just reflash cwm recovery and restore.
Hi i am using p760 stock rom jb , rooted and bootloader is unlocked and a new update come out v20i i think and i downloaded it there wass a message" if i want to install this click this the phone will reboot once or twice " but when the phone rebooting i got in to the cwm so i was like ok i clicked reboot system now expecting new update installed but it just get me in cwm again and again a try to remove the battery and turn on phone but it still gets me in the cwm, i tried to full wipe didnt help and backup didnt help too. What should i do ? please help
you need to restore your device by flashing KDZ file via LGMobile Support Tool...
here you'll find how to...
You can also use "Upgrade Recovery" option from LGMobile Support Tool so no need to follow the thread linked above, but with this method you'll completely erase your phone, internal SD card included
omg i am frustrated i cant get kdz method working just getting error after error , and i cant install lg support tool it is stuck while install , is there any other solutions ?
So A few days ago tried to install costume ROM on my LG Optimus G. And guess what I bricked it. Now it I do it one more time I am left with on phone. So now I came up with what I am going to do. Please if someone did this already warn me about any error that might occur and how to fix them. Mainly how to unlock the bootloader
1) Download app freeGee
2)install clockworkrecovery
2.1) try to boot into the phone if Fails try to flash LGNPST teeny beans.
2.2) cry and post on the forum for help( I know there is an other way but I hard brick it last time using that method )
3)download and save to SD card the PAC man mod (If there is a better one please tell me )
4)Erase the Internal Storage
5)Erase the cache
5) Flash the new ROM
6) Flash GApps
7) I hope I am done

That's the method I used from stock software. I used the mako method to unlock boot loader via freegee app. Also I installed twrp instead of cwm.
Sent from my Optimus G using xda app-developers app
Simple an easy solution is :
1.Connect phone is download mode.
2.Load necessary files and drivers , prior to connecting.
3.Flash the AtlBins/TeenyBins on your phone.
4.Let it complete.
5.It'll either stuck in a bootloop with AT&T logo , or will Go straight to Recovery which was installed as an additional benefit of TeenyBins. If OriginalBins don't work then tr AltBins. Mine worked with AtlBins.
6.Goto recovery and wipe out everything : /System , /Data , /Cache. ( as per your requirements.)
7.Now place the Custom rom on your SDCard along with SUBinary and recommended GApps package.
8.Flash them in queue.
9.Reboot. ( Wipe cache/dalvik if necessary ).
Pretty easy.
THis should usually work.

Without the stock rom, it is so risky to test custom roms, almost impossible.
But if you can flash TWRP or CWM, you can backup your stock rom to restore everytime you fail.
I suggest you to find the custom recovery first.
Use this Mobile Uncle Tools (MTK tools) to flash custom recovery, the most easy way to flash recovery for MTK devices. If you want to know how to use it, go to www.kokoandroid.weebly.com and follow the step 2,3 and 5.
Good Luck in porting rom. :fingers-crossed:
