Hi!
If i watch videos or download files over wifi, and at the same time a bluetooth speaker or headphones are connected (or only bluetooth is on) to my phone, the wifi connection slows down to useless level. I heard about it is a firmware issue, the antennas have wrong configuration, but how can i fix it? What do I need to modify to be able to use wifi and bluetooth in the same time?
Phone: Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime
System: MIUI 8 Global Developer 7.2.16 (it is the latest version) (ROM name: land)
Installed SuperSU 2.79 (non SR version)
Installed Xposed Framework 87 (MIUI edition by SolarWarez / 20161126)

The mobile is an MTK6582 CPU with 2GB ram + 16 GB rom (WCDMA), 5 inch IPS display. I got this phone a few days ago and could not find any solutions regarding location of GPS. I have used/seen a few MTK6589 phones which are all fine with GPS navation (I use navfree + Australian Map). At first I use original stock rom (4.2.2) and failed then I tried other roms (Miui and others). I have rooted the phone and used Uncilemobile MTK tool and other GPS test apps but they did not work. I even edited the build.prop and added one line "dalvik.vm.execution-mode=int:fast" following youtube video and still I could not located any satellites. with Wifi or Data connection, I can instantly locate my position on google map. Please help. thanks a lot.
Hey guys,
in Fulmics ROM, i have selected "Stock LG GPS Servers" and now my GPS accuracy is worse than bevor with Stock MM ROM.
My question: Can i change the GPS Server to Nokia Servers without reinstall the ROM?
Sorry for my bad english, i hope somebody can help me.
Just re-run the AROMA installer without wiping, choose your settings, but this time select nokia servers.
I selected Nokia servers..... Far from accurate
ive selected google server, how to edit gps conf for not reinstall rom?
you install the ROM again over TWRP and select the other GPS settings. (Without wipe, only install)
But i can confirm that the Nokia servers are not better.
But why my gps was under stock MM 3 meters and now 6? : /
Some services are trying to "call home". I have blocked them with AFwall+, but I assume that repeated wakeups drain battery.
Has someone managed to mute following services (being blocked by firewall some of them try more than 5000 network connects in 9 hours) :
Updater
I don’t want to be informed about updates, and will flash manually.
Can not be disabled / frozen: TitaniumBackup freezes when trying to freeze Updater.
Receiving intents can not be prevented (e.g. BootCompletedReciever, DailyCheckReciever,..)
Themes
Don’t want to use/update/download MIUI Themes in background
If disabled (frozen) then can not change ringtones anymore.
Battery saver
No clue why there needs to be betwork traffic?
Find device
Have not configured a MI Account, don't use any MI cloud and don’t want to use MI’s find device function.
Can not be disabled / frozen: TitaniumBackup freezes when trying to freeze.
Uninstall (e.g. via Magisk) leads to a bootloop.
More Info
My Redmi Note 4x is rooted via Magisk.
To reduce wakelocks and network traffic I have "uninstalled" (systemlessly) with Magisk Modules "Terminal Debloater":
Code:
AnalyticsCore
XiaomiSimActivateService
I have frozen with TitanuimBackup
Code:
Cell Broadcast
Discover
Hangouts
Mi Account
Mi Cloud
Mi Cloud backup
Mi Picks 1.1
msa
Secure Spaces Agent
Setup Wizard
SpacesCore
SpacesManagement Service
SSCM
XIAOMI service framework

Safetynet does not pass.
I still use the latest stable Magisk Version v12.0 (Did I miss an Update?)
My concerns are about not necessary waste of resource (battery, RAM) and leakage of private data.
Maybe I have to switch to an alternative Rom, just I'm afraid that camera quality may get worse.

You can use universal safety net fix module to pass safetynet
Hello guys,
since 3 days i try to get pairing to the amazfit bip with my xiaomi mi mix 2s with lineage os 16 (latest nightly) and gadgetbridge, but gadgetbridge and even the standard bluetooth app, is not able to find the watch???
is lineage the problem with missing packages, drivers or any else?? i noticed also the gadgetbridge icon is striked out in the statusbar, but every permissions are set, the device is visible for bt pairing and i can´t find any other problem...
i tried gadgetbridge via playstore on an other device, and with that, everything works perfect and the icon is not striked out everywhere
hope anybody can tell me something about my problem, otherwise i see no other solution as shipping back the watch
Hi,
recently I tried to restore a backup on my Redmi Note 4X (mido) from Lineage OS 15.1 to the same system from a few months earlier. Unfortunately I didn't know about the problem with restoring the Firmware as well, so I left it ticked and I got this problem: "extractTarFork() process ended with ERROR: 255"
After that, I tried rebooting my phone but it had lost its IMEI, and I couldn't make calls or connect to mobile data (it could not detect my SIM card) or even wifi. To try to fix it I followed this guide: https://forum.xda-developers.com/sho...3&postcount=10 by @ramping using the NON-HLOS.bin file I extracted from the Global version (I live in Italy). This is the file I extracted and used: https://ufile.io/n3gc24su
The file of the ROM is named miui_HMNote4XGlobal_V9.0.3.0.NCFMIEI_37d94c8e22_7. 0.zip (I can try to upload it as well, if it can be useful).
After that I rebooted my device and wi-fi and mobile data works fine again, but I can't hear any audio when I make or receive a call, and everyone on the other side doesn't hear anything as well. I Found a guide ( https://forum.xda-developers.com/lin...mi-a1-t3892858 ) to fix the problem, but after rooting my phone I found out that its build.prop file in/system doesn't have the "persist.vendor.audio.fluence.voicecall=true" string that I needed to edit. I tried to add a "persist.vendor.audio.fluence.voicecall=false" string to the file but it didn't work.
To try to fix this problem for good I rebooted my phone opening TWRP, I wiped cache/dalvik and system and I flashed the last official LinageOS 16.0 ROM for my device (up until then I was using the last official 15.1 one). Nothing changed even with the new version, and even with it the "persist.vendor.audio.fluence.voicecall=true" string is missing in the build.prop file. What can I do to solve my problem?
Don't you see a headset icon in your notification bar? Are you able to make a phone call with loudspeaker or with a headset? I think your 3.5 jack just stuck and the phone thinks that a headset is connected and thus it rerouted all sounds to the 3.5 jack.. Youtube is full of methods to clean it.. but it can happen that the module (built-in to the USB module) itself is dead.. that's a $2-$4 stuff on AliExpress.
PS: forget the fluence related build.prop values, those are for a different thing.
