Which one has the best battery backup and is most stable ? I saw a lot of miui roms From these which one is the best:
-Xiaomi.eu
-Mi Globe
-Epic Rom
-Global Dev
-Global Stable
I tried all and I would say
EU rom is the best, especially if you are from EU (it has optimised GPS for EU) although GPS works same on NitrogenOS for me...
Plus support for eu languages...deodexed...never locks BL
Global dev is same as china dev, but with more languages...
Epic rom is same as global dev + few tweaks
Global stable is just build from 1-2months ago...so its better to use dev if you are usong miui.
I would choose EU weekly latest..doesnt lock BL, same as china dev plus gplay and all u need.

I am on nos. What are the exactly 100% safe steps to flash eu rom via twrp zcx? Because i seen on forum a lot of bricks from people reverting back to miui.
Bricks you mean locked BL?
I would wipe clean all except microSD where you have miui rom...and format data.
Then flash eu rom, wipe cache/dalvik and reboot
And eu weekly doesnt lock BL...multirom does sometimes...aswell epic rom does sometimes..and ofcourse official.
But if you are on NOS i would just stay there...and I will
Its far better

Mi-Globe is still using EU ROM as the based ROM. And added some optimization with mods.
So, will you still recommending it?

Hi. I'm using mi-globe for a week now. It's running very smooth and without issues. The battery backup is also good, I get around two days of light usage (around 4-5 hours SOT), or one day with heavy usage (7-8 hours SOT). The version that i'm using is 7.2.9.

Do you get 10h sot w/out games ? Cause on nos i get 10h sot.
At this right moment i'm using Xiaomi.eu Plus (its a xiaomi.eu version from Epic) with Radon kernel.. and i can say that the rom is so far one of the best.. it just do some tweaks over xiaomi.eu, it apply SuperSU for example, and extra memory tweaks.. the rom is not on this forum.. PM if you want to try it out

they are different. But a few ones say multirom has a feature that changes way of getting free memory. Honestly, i dont trust.
And with stable I mean stable. As in rock solid performance, all sensors, all modes, the works. I can live with Miui if not.
official lineageos
Rock stable? Ehh.. No. Sorry mate but no ROM is completely bug free at the moment. Also, it depends on your device so just try out a few and see which one you like best.
The best custom ROM which is rock solid is this: https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-3/development/rom-lineageos-13-0-t3533744
You can use Official Lineage ROM as a daily driver..

ive been using RR 5.7.4. marshmellow rom for about 2 months now and i have to say it runs really stable.... then i tried several nougat roms including lineage and rr 5.8 ... none of the nougat roms is bugfree. iven the MM RR lacks good camera app. since a few days i switched to xiaomi.eu rom and until now im pretty happy with it. very good battery life (with rr 5.7.4) i only reached 6h SOT and now with xiaomi.eu i reach in minimum 8h.
if you can stick to miui ... i could recommend that one to you

Why you guys even use that? If you want miui, simply flash latest miui EU weekly 8.3 which is 30.3.2017...
If you are flashing that now, you are already a month behind...eu miui is atleast somewhat cleaned of crap that comes with global and chinese.
Use it if you want, but i think theres a better choice
I installed this update. Now charging takes very long time. 30 to 34 in 40 minutes. WTF. Any solution?

is it more stable than 8.1.1.0?
Its same stable, but its newest...and if which weekly causes trouble, just flash one before that and skip one version...but mostly no big bugs, because all versions are tested before... The point is stable versions receive OTA and are for people that dont want to upgrade frequently, dev. releases are more recent...

Hi guys , i have a redmi note4x ( mido ) , do you think xiaomi.eu is better than stock global rom ?
better in many aspects
Xiaomi.eu (weekly) is based on china dev and I prefer stock global dev version due to less bugs. I was using xiaomi.eu on my previous Mi 4c only because global rom wasnt available for my device.

Thanks for that. I remember 'cooking' my ROMS back in the Windows Phone era.
So far, performance is pretty good but battery does seem to suffer a little. Will use this until a decent build of MIUI 9 comes out for Nikel.

NOTE:- If you are going from weekly MIUIv12, you are doing a downgrade so format data is mandatory!
So far so good, feels a lot faster and smoother than the betas.
For those wondering it has May security update.

Yes, you can.
Yes, expect problems with system/apps at some point.
Major releases always deserve a clean flash.
hi everyone, still don't fully understand stable ROMs, weekly ROMs and the sort - i assume i can simply flash this xiaomi.eu MIUI 12 over my current 11.0.8 stable (phone is CN) and be done with it until MIUI 13 comes out? can i get it OTA or have it automatically searched (is this the aforementioned "updater" app)? sorry if this is the wrong thread, and thank you in advance.

Flashed this over eu stable 11.0.8 and cleared cache and dalvik cache. Quite smooth for the past 2 days.
Amazon prime HQ issue
In both stable and beta versions I'm facing issue with Amazon Prime quality. Netflix is fine in quality and DRM shows L1. Only prime is playing in low quality. Any patch I've to flash. Please help me anyone. Thank you!!!
Face unlock doesn't register
anyone having the same issue? it goes from a square to a circle, then a blue ring around it (which if i recall correctly should mean it's been registered) but then nothing happens. i go back and it says it couldn't register my face. not a big deal since fingerprint works as always, just annoying since i used it about 20% of the time on 11.0.8
