I installed Lineage 7.1.1 and I am on the latest built for 2-14-17.
I have an issue where my home, back button and the app switch button does not work. A quick reboot would fix it, but that's not working now.
Installed button savior and that helped, but I would love my buttons back. Can someone please tell me how to fix this?

I found disabling Talkback will fix it.

Hi, I've been lurking the forums for ever since I got my Folio two weeks ago. I've tried many different roms out, but now I've fallen in love with Cyanogenmod 7.1.0 RC0, everything works fine except for one thing. I can't disable the buttons on the side of the device. I've tried Dexter's un-official foliowidget HC, foliowidget and also foliobutton. Foliowidget I managed to get to work, but then I have to have Button Savior running which I don't want to (since I already have CM buttons and it's just in the way).
Do you guys have any solution to this problem? Can I disable the buttons in any other way or can I prevent Button Savior from running (since Dexter's un-official version of foliowidget requires Button Savior to be installed in order to be able to disable the buttons...) to just have it as an installed application?
Any answers are appreciated since I'm running out of ideas here. Thanks
EDIT: I've found a suitable and fairly smooth way of turning the buttons off.
Everytime the Folio boots up I have the app "Script Manager" run this script for me
Code:
echo regctrl=0x8800 > /sys/devices/virtual/input/input7/tegra_capsensor
which comes from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=10709047&postcount=17 (Thanks Dexter, even though you're not here anymore!) The buttons do light up when touched, but they don't do anything anymore.
Hello peeps,
I have a problem with the home key in S3. Single press does nothing i.e doesn't come to home screen. If i am not wrong it happened after some app updates. The key itself is working fine because holding it brings up the task manager. The launcher is Golauncher ex,changing launchers didn't fix it.
Anyone had it before? I am waiting to see if something can solve this before factory reset.
Could be a rom related option to customize hardware keys, I'd suggest going through rom settings. If you're running stock then I think the only solution is to factory reset your phone..
factory reset made it work and then after some app installation didnt work again. Back to a nandroid old version and no auto update app.
So, As the title suggests, I've got a problem with my volume buttons in the FaaastJB v2.5 ROM.
The problem is they simply don't work. I've used a key testing app and when pressed, they both give "Unknown Key". However they work on my recovery and on the stock rom so its not the hardware itself. I've managed to get everything else working using the drivers on the site but I don't know if there is a driver related to the volume buttons or whether there is a file somewhere that I need to change? I have a backup of the system of the stock rom so can copy any drivers/files from there but so far nothing I've tried has worked.
So I'm wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction to fix this?
I would have posted this in the ROM thread but I haven't posted enough on XDA yet
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
EDIT: Doesn't Matter, It's been fixed. Turns out it was sun4i-keyboard.kl. The volume up and volume down were some random numbers instead of 115 and 114.
Thanks!

Hi, can you explain how you fixed that? I got the same problem, I replaced sun4i-keyboard.kl that worked for me in ics, and chmod 755, but still don't working. Any idea?
Edit: My mistake, I readed sun4i-keypad.ko, To fix this I¨ve just edited /system/usr/keylayout/sun4i-keyboard.kl and get volume buttons working again. I used my keys volume_up 139 volume_down 102

Hi All,
I have recently updated my Mi A3 to Android 11 and I don't know how to take screenshots.
When searched in Google, for Android 11
I got, the following
Gesture navigation: From the bottom of the screen, swipe up and hold. Choose an open app to screenshot. Tap Screenshot.
3-button navigation: Tap Overview . Choose an open app to screenshot. Tap Screenshot .
2-button navigation (Pixel 3a & earlier): Press the Power button. Tap Screenshot .
But unfortunately I'm unable to find Screenshot icon in any of the above navigation method.
Thanks in advance.
power button + volume down , this is how I'm getting screenshots now

Thanks for your kind reply.
Power Button + Volume down is not working now, i.e after updating to Android 11.
I have attached the Screenshot !
However, I came to know very recently, that through Accessibility Menu I can take screenshot now.
Anyhow Thanks for the reply.

This method works on my android 11 (Indian variant) , which I upgraded today, not sure why it isn't working for you.
And I'll check out the accessibility option too, thank you.

[ Mine is also Indian Variant, prior to Android 11 update, I could take screenshots through Power Button ! However after the update, I'm getting the already attached screenshot screen, where there is no option to take Screenshots.]
As I said, earlier recently only I found taking screenshot through the Accessibility Menu option. Until then I was unable to Take Screenshots, that's why I posted for help.
Thank you.
