Can anyone tell me how to re partition the internal storage
I am constantly facing "storage space running out " message?!?

Hi, I have successfully done exchange internal whit external sd card memories following the instructions from great thread :

The only problem I've occurs is "insufficient storage available" when try to install some aps, not all, from play store or aps previously downloaded to internal-external memory. I was on the phone properly format required partitions for LINK2SD apk which works perfectly and I have a lot of free internal (now ext 341 MB used 2GB free) and external memory(now internal total space 8.95GB available 2.1GB).
For example I successfully install Nenamark2 after an unsuccessful attempting to install the Electopia from play store when showed up error "insufficient storage available".
If someone can help me I would be grateful:fingers-crossed:

Are you using LINK2SD to move you data??

This strange behavior happen to me when I swap internal and external memory. It seem to work fine when your internal memory (real phone internal) is not nearly full. If internal memory (real phone internal) is almost full I got a not enough memory even there're a lot of available space on my external SD (which is now internal mem by swap)
I think there might be some system config that not properly changed for swap script. So I use Link2SD and directoryBind instead.

Recovery : philz touch
There are 3 apps : Viber , line , WhatsApp that take a large space of my internal memory
WhatsApp/Media
Viber / Media /
Picture / line , Picture/LineMovie
it`s not affect that i movie these apps to SD card , all images , videos still will save to internal memory
So i search and find Link2SD
my Device is root , i create primary second Ex2 partition on my SD card
install link2sd and get the Ex2 partition as default to it
now when i choose viber , line , whatsapp and link them 2 SD
there are 4 options :
link application
link dalvik
link library
link internal Data
i enable 4 of them and ok , the success message appear
but when i check my internal , still all images and movies from these apps going to internal !!
whats the problem !!
another things that confused me is , i must create ext2 partition for link2SD right ?? ext2 in not readable in windows or file managers in android
So how can i move these files if link2SD work ?!

You want to move your data into SD card as well as you want to use link2sd right?
First of all
-You need to partitioned your SD card.
(One smaller than other)
(Keep both partitions as primary partition)
That means now you have two partitions into your SD card.
-Next, format the smaller partition with ext2 format where your apps can be linked.
-Format the remaining part with fat/NTFS file system. (This part can be read in android file manager as well as computer).
This is how you can move your data from internal to SD.

but it seems you not read my post currently
i do all these steps ( create small 1 GB primary Ex2 with mini partition tool )
on my SD card >> 14.5 GB fat32 partition + 1 GB ext2 (both primary and fat32 is first )
link2sd looks work fine but nothing move or change after link them to SD
still the temp folder of Viber , whatsapp , Viber is in Internal memory

Since I got about 500 MB of internal storage on Phone memory free. I tried to download the game on SD card . I used link2sd to set the preference to external SD card. The ext2 partition on my SD card has about 2.7 GB free space.
Even then when I try to download it , it says : error insufficient space on external storage .
So I made space on internal storage and set the preference back to internal.
Even then I am getting the same error
I already tried using common methods like clearing cache ,uninstalling upadtes to play store etc.
I use cm 12.1 lollipop 5.1.1.
Any suggestion would be help ful .

the game says
"** A minimum of 1.5 GB of free space is required on your device."
Also the download cache will be on internal as far as I know, so its better to have 1.5GB internal space free.
Else download the data from mirror sites as its not any paid game!
Can you point me to some nice mirror sites bro? Coz I Dont know them.

Hello I am using a Micromax p480 with Android 5.0.1.I have rooted it and installed link2sd . My second partition is 3.50GB .I want to install the dark Knight rises. The obb file is 1.78 GB and although my second partition is free my internal memory is only 212 MB and hence I can not paste in the obb folder as insufficient storage message comes up. Where should I paste it. I have already installed and linked the app to SD card
i am using lineage os 14.1 , root enabled on MOTO E XT1022
apps like whatsapp and browser are unable to store anything in internal storage. making sdcard as an internal storage is not working either. in file explorer it is showing 1.2 gb free instead of 7 gb ( my memory card is 8 gb). play store is working fine i am able to download and use apps.
there is only one folder in internal storage and that is "Android" .
this is how it happened :-
yesterday i was downloading a video from fb messenger when suddenly my mobile hanged. i rebooted the phone. then i found that my RAM memory is completely used as it was showing 0B left. and apps like gallery, file explorer, browser were not working and were causing the phone to restart.
so i tried the following :
i opened TWRP and wiped the system,data,dalvik cache, microsd card,internal
i wanted to format the sdcard and internal data too thats why i choose them too
after wiping them
i reinstalled the Lineage OS 14.1 , installed Gapps and rooted it
after rebooting it. i picked the option to use sd card as internal storage.
thats when i noticed that i am unable to save in internal storage .
PLEASE HELP !!
Clean flash the room again and this time don't choose sd card as your internal.
