There is no edl mode in redmi note 4

i tried many methods dont know which method works for me. i think this method worked for me
Hello friends i´m new her. I hav an recently Note 4 with bootloop. I´m trying this mithod to solve the problem (already tried lots of methods without sucess) and in the step when to connect to pc and try to set adb, imediatly after conect to usb on pc the phone boots and keeps bootlooping after "MI mi.com" white symbol. Any ideas guys? Dont know anything more to do.... please help

Follow this tutorial, make a deep flash cable as shown. This will work on RN4 SD version only. I am the one who got bootloop on RN4 SD first time and i made the new cable and did everything well.

Even I had this problem. However I fixed this. Try these steps
1.Press power button and volume+ button till you see Phone and USB cable picture.
2.Install lastest version of Chinese Mi Pcsuite (Don't use English version as it has some issues detecting your phone).
3. Now connect your phone to pc via usb cable
4. A popup menu will appear in Chinese. Select the second option which is factory reset.
5. After that the phone reboots and everything will work fine. However you will lose user data.

enter fastboot mode
type fastboot oem edl to enter edl mode
use the mi flashing tool (not the flash unlock one) to flash the fastboot rom :good:
hi i was trying to update the framwork yesterday throw twrp evrything was going fine suddendly phone stopped and red light blinking started i searched for the solutions and some ever it was said remove the backpanel and disconnect the battery and reconnec the charger it will take u to fastboot but after doing this iam unable to get anything now the red blinking have also been stopped iam not getting what to do now can any1 help me out

That command does not work anymore. Tried it, it says it rebooted it but the phone itself doesn't do anything but stay in fastboot mode
my redmi note 3 is bricked after trying to install a update im gessing the update was not a good one my huge problum is i can not boot into recovery or fastboot mode am i out $190 or is there a way to save it all i get is a black screen and i can pull up the option for fastboot normal and recovery but i cant do any thang elce

Describe your issue more specifically. Did you unlock bootloader? Which recovery you were using? What was the ROM you were updating to and from?

lokced bootloder recovery was broken on my phone and updating from miui 5 stock to miui 7 stock

Bro you don't need to go to fastboot mode you are already in the edl mode.
Just download the fastboot rom of the latest miui rom and extract it. Use mi flash tool and browse and locte the image folder of the extracted rom.
Connect your phone to the computer and press refesh button on the mi flash tool. ( Keep in mind to disable device driver signature inforcement in windows). Your deveice would be seen in the flash tool as COM ...... now select the flash all option and then the flash option. After the installation ends your phone would most probably reboot itself, if not unplug your device and long press the power button for at least 15 seconds. Now your phone will boot with a mi logo ajd wait for at 30 mins. Report back the results.

My redmi note 3 is stuck on the charging logo.when I try to turn it on it shows mi and then shows the picture of a phone and a USB cable I cannot bypass it ,cannot access recovery. When I try to access recovery it goes to the testing screen .

I think accidently you deleted your twrp recovery.you can give a try by reinstalling twrp via adb tool.

Can you tell me a way to unlock the boot loader through fastboot...
Press down + power to go to fast boot, insert usb cable phone to pc, open miflash app (download it here http://en.miui.com/thread-272376-1-1.html), select any fastboot rom version (Here is an example, http://en.miui.com/thread-543021-1-1.html , download fastboot rom for redmi note 3 pro, after downloading unzip the file if you see weird extension file just replace it to .zip and extract to see the files). After selecting the fastboot rom directory on miflash, make sure that your phone is detected as a fastboot device (if you can't see anything on the list on the app, recheck the connection), then select save user data on the bottom, then flash if there is an error, select clean all on the bottom then flash. Wait for the flashing to finished.

This guide above is to return back your phone to a working MIUI.
If you just need to unlock bootloader to flash twrp/custom recovery, then Unlock it via official method

- Open it, then login with your Mi account (Prefer to use your phone number in username)
- Reboot to fastboot mode (vol down + power), connect usb phone to pc
-The app will detect your phone once connected, then proceed on unlocking by clicking the button.

I did that and now I have a new problem
The phone is not turning back on.When I tried to turn on it shows mi logo and turns off.when I plug it in to charger there is a red notification light starts to blink .What shall I do..??

Did you finished flashing? No errors or something?
Try to check your bootloader if it is unlocked or not, use method 2

Phone is showing no recovery no fastboot.Just stuck on edl mode.

I forgot to mention while flashing the fastboot ROM I pasted a file to the ROM folder to unlock the boot loader.will this be the reason why my phone got stuck in the black screen while the notification led blinks

what file did you pasted inside the rom folder? something like a unlock file for bootloader?
Maybe that's the thing why it didn't worked. The steps always work for me whenever I got into something.
Also, are you sure that you've downloaded the right fastboot rom for your device? Are you on redmi note 3 pro too?

After updating my redmi note 5 it works normal for one day and after that i restart my phone and it turns to bootloop .It start shows mi logo and then again starts .The whole continuous till battery is dead
My phone bootloader is locked so try to install twrp via unofficial method that is replacing original recovery.img to twrp(renaming it to recovery.img).But nothing happens after flashing when i go to recovery mode the whole screen truns balck and phone connected to pc via 900E port.
I am trying to recover it but nothing happens
This problem happens in past but i recover it because in that time twrp is install and the only thing is to mount some partition(not in memory which partition).
but this time no twrp plz help plz....

I get in fastboot mode but my phone bootloader is locked . I have flash my phone via test point method to its base ver rom but problem exist till now:crying:.

Firs of all Install xiomi flash tool in your pc and download xiomi developer rom in tgz format and flash rom in edl mode
