Hi
Since there is yet again no notification LED on the SGS2 i was wondering if a Button Backlight Notification like for the original SGS is in the works.

I think OP asked for a Button Backlight Notification, not a screen LED notification. If there were application which could allow to glow the touch sensitive buttons (Menu & Back) then it would be great.

NoLed has such an option. Besides, it's not important since the app has an option to shut the display off when the proximity sensor feels something close by (like when the phone is in a pocket or bag).

Oops! Didn't find that option, can you please tell me where it is? And also is there a way to turn the screen LED notification Off?
It's under 'Battery saving features', there's a check box for Dismiss with Proximity Sensor.

Thanks, but if I check that box only the screen goes off with a small red box moving on the screen but the Touch sensitive buttons are not glowing!

Yeah, I meant the second bit (about turning the display off in your pocket or whatever) and even then I think I meant the check box below, sorry - feeling a bit scrambled today.
I'm after something that will light up the touch buttons too

I've looked that up but I can't find this feature. It looks like I've mixed things up with some forum posts, like: http://forum.xda-developers.com/archive/index.php/t-730692-p-10.html

Actually the option is "Proximity Sensor" just bellow "Dismiss with Proximity Sensor".
Hello,
Recently I noticed that whenever I get a call I can tap anywhere on the screen and the call will be answered. This seems to be an issue with my screen notifications app that wakes the screen when I get a text. Has anyone found a solution to this? As in having the screen wake for texts and have drag to answer? Is screen wake for notifications gonna be fixed in 4.2.2?? Thanks!

I got a problem because on lock screen (screen off) when i get notification (sms or app notification or something) i have the sound but the screen is not turning on.
Also if i turn on screen then i don't have any notification shown on lock screen.
is this a bug or that's normal? i had some android phones before and they were cool but it's weird here

I get the same issue, but it's only when I lock the screen with the app open. if i'm on my homescreen everything is back to normal.
Anyone else experiencing this? Screen wakes up for no reason and stays on permanently till I turn off. I'm on bad boys from BTW, thanks.

This was unchecked. Hasn't been happening this past day, I'll keep an eye on it. Thanks for the tip though.
Guys anyone know how to wake the screen while receiving a SMS notifications?
My unit is LG v10 verizon unit when i received a sms i can see it on the second screen but the main screen is off.
I set the lock screen notification to show all notifications.

to get this i think you should turn off the second screen when the phone is locked...so, you lose the second screen to get wake up screen while receiving notifications.

I tried to disabled the second screen but still i cannot see the sms on the mains screen
I'm using LED Actor to put a nice big alert sign on the lockscreen when I miss a call or message.
Very happy with its performance and tweaking options.
