Just wondered, apart from the CPU, are there any other differences between the two? Are the top and bottom rear sections plastic as opposed to metal on the 4X?

When I was looking at getting a broken screen LGOG I saw these and was really tempted to try it. I'd like to know also plz
Sent from my LG-E970 using Tapatalk 2
They won't fit for the same reason cases for the LS970 won't fit our phones. The LS version is slightly longer and skinnier than ours. The LS is 5.19 inches tall. The E970 is 5.15 inches tall.

Thanks I really appreciate the input, guess I will just have to give it another shot on trying to find a screen. I am looking around and it really sucks that the sprint model is $50 cheaper then the At&t model.
Edit, nevermind, read forum rules.
How is the performance of the phone? Does it lags
I heard the screen is vry delicate is it true? I m planning to buy this phone

I don't know who said it was delicate but I dropped mine screen down without so much as a scratch. Doesn't seem very delicate to me...

you have to be careful because the screen is like glass

Performance is good,no glich, for me it is great phone...
Firstly tell us the model available to you.
They have different screen sizes, different cameras, some have NFC, some have Gorilla Glass.
The SoC and screen resolution are the same, though.

The screen IS glass.
The screen is made of Gorilla Glass, so it's tougher than our iPhoney counterparts. I wouldn't get this, buy the new F3, that's what I'm considering. That or the G2 if I can convince my mom aha! xD
Model available in my country is 765

oh it's glass i thought it was felt. thanks for setting me straight. everyone is so helpful here.

This one has NFC, 4.7 inch screen, 5MP camera and doesn't have Gorilla Glass (please correct me if I'm wrong, guys).
But Gorilla Glass only diminishes the scratches. The glass resistance, if the phone falls to the ground, is basically the same.

In different markets, LG offers four different variants of this phone, with model number P760, P765, P768, and P769. The differences are: P760 and P765 are identical except one has NFC while the other does not; P768 has 8MP camera (others have 5MP); P769 has 4.5 inch screen and a different processor. (others have 4.7).
P760 have NFC,765 doesnt.

If you like custom roms i wouldn't recommend getting this phone. Get an s2 which have lots of support.

Now playing NDS games full speed on this gorgeous 4.5 inch screen, not a bad phone at all ^_^
Has anyone found any brushed metal or aluminum cases for this phone? I can't find any.
Not a one. Since dimensions of e970 are dissimilar to every other lgog we got shafted on cases and replacement parts.

:/ Saw that. So lame.
There are like red and blue ones if u still look for cases for that phone.
Sent from my LG-P930 using Tapatalk
Aluminum cases tend to degrade signal.. I used to have one on another phone.. Looked cool but reduced antenna range and caused the phone to suck down the battery.

Is there anywhere you can buy just the T-Mobile back cover? Mine makes a creaking noose when you touch the back around the camera.
Sent from my LG-D851 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I saw some back covers on ebay, including T-mobile's covers. in different colors too.
I'll sell u mine, what color u need mine is white

I've found that most of the "creaking" noises comes from the battery being slightly loose.
Try taking out your battery and see if it still creaks.
I thought the back cover was solid not flimsy like past phones? I'm not going to press around the camera to see if I hear a creak. Lol
Mine has a slight creek in one corner, however, I fixed it by heating it with a hair dryer and bending it a little and now JTS perfect. I have 3 back covers and the Att one creeks more for some reason but I don't notice anything while it's in my case.

After a battery pull I'm not hearing it anymore.
