LeMax 2 isn't charging - LeEco Le Max 2 Questions & Answers

Hi people, I'm Newbie here.
A few weeks ago I bought a LeEco LeMax 2 via Tomtop and it arrived last week. It has been working really good since yesterday.
My device isn't charging and I don't know what's happening. I have a multilanguage rom (I'm from Spain) and some people told me that this rom would give me problems, but i couldn't send a message to Tomtop for changing it because it didn't give me that chance.
Now I can't run the device because it's out of battery and my pc can't detect it because of that.
I need help getting a pure english rom (I have been looking for it but i haven't found it) and I need to know how do I solve this problem :crying:
Thank you all for helping!

i don't believe it is software/rom related. your phone should at least charge while it is turned off. if it doesn't i would suspect:
-faulty usb-c cable
-faulty charger
-damaged usb-c port on the phone
-other hardware issue (battery, ...)
if you have an usb-multimeter check charger and cable. if not just swap both.

It is turned off and when i connect it, the red led turns on intermittently like if it was charging, but after a few seconds/minutes it turns completely off until i disconnect and reconect the charger

if you have an usb-a to usb-c cable, just try with a different charger. if you had an usb-multimeter you would see whats going on.

USB3 Issues

I got my self a USB3 Type C cable to use with my phone for faster transfer of files from my Phone to my PC but it is very buggy.
Using the new cable with a USB 3 port I get all sorts of wired bugs and problems.
Most of the time my G5 wont show up on Computer so I can copy the files over. But it does work in Photo transfer mode but that limits access to the internal memory and photo folder only.
But If I connect using a USB 2 port everything works fine albeit slower.
So,
USB 3 cable in a USB 3 port = Buggy & Not working 99% of the time But does charge the phone.
USB 3 cable in a USB 2 port = Everything works fine
Anyone else have issues? Is there a known bug?
Hi - My g5 850 Works fine with original cable on a USB 3 Port.

same here
original cable and 3rd party cable seems just fine
Same here, no issues with original or 3rd party cable.
Just like to point out that the cable that comes with the phone is not USB3 it is just USB2

Zp951 not charging, red light flashing

Hi, this Zopo 7 Speed I need to fix went crazy it recognizes the charger, there's a very weak red light turning on above the screen everytime I connect it, but it doesn't charge. I've already tried charging it for a whole day, and bought a replacement battery, but its still the same. The phone wasn't modified in any way, I didn't change rom or even root it(if it didn't came pre-rooted - I didn't check). Did anyone have that problem, or know a plausible solution?
There is a common issue in zopo mobile phones: sometimes the charging module need to be replaced, because it commonly breaks down.

Thanks for the reply. Ive got one question though, if the charging port was damaged, the red light wouldn't turn on, would it? There has to be current flowing through the phone and it's charging port.

I don't know... If you search with Google, you'll fine many users who talk about slow charge problems with zopo phones...

To add to this subject- I started to get charging problems with my Speed 7 almost from new. The company I bought from were useless at helping and I had absolutely no confidence in them at all. Zopo wouldn't help, all I really got them was 'contact your seller' (plus the knowledge not to buy from that retailer again and not to buy another Zopo). Anyhow I limped on with it charging at times, sometimes the charge led it and it didn't charge, sometimes it would only partially charge. Luckily I had an external battery charger that can charge this battery when out of the phone, *and* I'd bought a spare battery. Spare batteries are still available unlike those for some of the other phones I had considered buying).
Anyhow on examining the USB socket it was clear the soldering was insufficiently good (or the USB socket badly designed) and had broken so depending on how the cable lay in the socket would affect whether the connection would be made or not. I found after a time for my phone that lying it with the charge cable over the edge of a table and adding some weight (not much) was enough to get the broken connection to connect while charging BUT this is only a temporary solution- you are putting extra stress on the other solder joints and they will fail too, but it gives you a little time to get the part for the repair (mine lasted a couple of months but this will vary depending on the state of your parts and how much weight you apply, and how much those contacts are moved).
When I looked for spare parts *before* spending my money I saw that screens were available there were screens (VERY important for any phone), batteries (pretty important too) but no cases or battery covers (worrying). What else was available included the USB charge board, a ribbon cable for the side buttons and the microphone so I thought that they must be the commonly failing parts.
I get the impression that they only produce the parts that commonly fail.
*IF* Zopo reads this then please release battery covers as a spare part too- they don't last to well when you have to take the cover off to charge the battery externally on a regular basis.
***Good luck, please don't forget to add your experiences to this forum as it could help other owners- thanks***
Just use a pc with the data cable and try to charge it through it for 1 hour like the it will automatically switch on to charge .
Same thing happened to me and the way worked for me
Hit Thanks button if it helped
So I want to bypass battery

How I can to connect directly the phone to 3.8v DC?

LeEco Le Max 2 not charging

Hello I am new here so if I chose wrong category for my thread then I am sorry.
Recently I bought a new LeEco Le Max 2 and I charged it for like three times and yesterday was the last time it worked.
I have seen different solutions what to do so I went to local store to buy different USB-C cable but it didn't help me at all. I even bought another one from another local store because I thought the problem was that the new USB-C cable may be not working but second new USB-C cable didn't help me as well so I think the problem is in mobile. I have flashed latest LineageOS 14.1 so I thought QC may be not working but charging through PC / notebook is not working too. I am completely lost and sad because I have used the phone for three days and it's broken already. Can somebody somehow help me what to do? I do not really think there is some local store where they could help me... Thanks
what about the original charger that come with the mobile?
During three days, how did you charge it?
Hello. I think Lineage is not better idea in this case. I will rather try to flash original Chinese ROM if you are familiar with using TWRP.

Solution was third USB-C cable!
Today I went to local repair shop and the guy tried another USB-C cable and charging is working again. I cannot believe that I had such a bad luck I bought 2 bad USB-C cables but luckily third one is working already.

I charged the phone through original charger that came with mobile with QC supported but I haven't flashed Lineage at that time. After I flashed Lineage I started to have some problems. I don't know if that's the reason why I had problem with charging but now with working charging again I don't really care. I am sorry for making this thread. Admin can lock it somehow if this is how is forum still working
Usb-C cable is much more expensive than usual micro-usb. That's why I've bought micro-usb/type-C connector and always use micro-usb cable.

Redmi 3 doesn't turn on after trying to connect a mouse trough OTG

Hello people, can somebody help me?
I have a Xiaomi Redmi 3 PRO and I tried to connect a mouse last week, but it instantly turned off and it's not turning on anymore. What could have happened?
I've already opened it, removed battery and connected again, but it's not working. I'm using a Moto G4 Plus now but I miss my phone
*Nothing happens when I connect charger

Happened something similar connecting an otg adapter for backup purposes last year. Turned off and never restarted. I tried changing the USB adapter PCB, without solving the problem.

Poco F1 super slow charging

my poco f1 suddenly begin to charge very slow about 10mA to 80mA i check my adapter and it works with other phone i check the cable and pug my poco in the computer and its fine i can transfer files normally but it charge very very slow
is someone has solution with this problem i dont think the usb c port is damaged because it is detected by the computer
I had the same with my cable, it looked and worked fine, but after I replaced it I could Fastcharge again. So probably there was something wrong with the charging lines within the cable.

Yup, just had this issue last week. Changed cables and worked fine. So how has it been? Did you get a cable? Did it work
