my poco f1 suddenly begin to charge very slow about 10mA to 80mA i check my adapter and it works with other phone i check the cable and pug my poco in the computer and its fine i can transfer files normally but it charge very very slow
is someone has solution with this problem i dont think the usb c port is damaged because it is detected by the computer
I had the same with my cable, it looked and worked fine, but after I replaced it I could Fastcharge again. So probably there was something wrong with the charging lines within the cable.

Yup, just had this issue last week. Changed cables and worked fine. So how has it been? Did you get a cable? Did it work

Hey guys,
Just got the 5.1.1 update to my g watch and i noticed some charging differences, namely i can no longer charge my watch with my pc (its an always on pc). I checked cables etc and all are fine, and it will still charge through an AC outlet. Ive tried usb 2.0 and 3.0 ports.
Just wondered if anyone else had noticed this behaviour? The charging indicator wont even show up when its plugged into my pc. Also noting that usb debugging still works through my pc and all is detected fine there

I have the same update, and have the same problem as you, I only noticed it last night when I put it on to charge, I charge mine every night on the same usb port and have had no problems till last night, like yours mine will only charge from mains now, I've tested all my usb ports and they are all working okay. I hope some one has an answer for it.
I´ve checked this and mine works perfectly with a 5m cable connected to a usb hub. I´ve checked with other cables and without hub, and this still works.
I was able to address the issue by rebooting the watch.

So do i! Usb ports are working fine, my pc is custom built so i have specific ports designed for quicker charging of anything plugged into them

If i reboot the watch whilst it is on the charger, it charges via usb in my pc - but if i take it off and put it back on, the problem returns, despite it still working with an AC charger, i'm assuming this is a software problem as android knows when its charging via usb or AC anyway. Hopefully a dev over here or the LG guys will fix it - i don't want to have to restart my watch every time i want to charge it, it's a pain in the arse and i shouldn't have to do it - i have a lack of AC ports in my room, hence i charge through my pc

Just checked - same behavior here.
Always fun to be a beta tester for Google. At least there's a workaround.

haha well, i can use an AC power source and charge my phone in my pc, they are both super close to me just my phone takes longer to charge
My watch was slower to charge I did notice that. Took an entire extra hour!
I have the same problem but I posted in the wrong thread (LG G Watch General)

Hi
I have 2 chargers because I use one for travel. After updating to 5.1.1, one works and the other does not. I swapped the components and found it was the cable. I hope that this helps.

All my cables seem to produce the same result, maybe it's just me - i tried the one that came with a quick charge charger and even that does the same thing. hmm, will pick up a new cable tomorrow and check it out!
I just had my watch on the charger and with out taking it off, restarted it and now it is charging. Definitely a bug of some sort

I wouldn't bother. Some chargers just behave like USB devices to be able to charge older Blackberrys. I used the same cable with the PC and with a wall wart. Only the wall wart works unless I reboot the watch.
Thanks, most people seem to confirm its a bug.. That's what I love about xda, you can always find things like this. Thanks for all your help.
Hi, glad I found this thread.
I am having the same problem. It doesn't charge since the 5.1.1 update, but if it lays on the charger and I reboot it, it charges. If I take it off and put it back on, it doesn't charge and I need to reboot it again.
Have the same problem. After reboot, it charges on usb much slower but doesn't look like it (No charging icon). Otherwise I love the update.
Did you all factory reset after updating your watch? I also couldn't charge until I rebooted but it charges fine after the reboot.
Same issue
I can confirm the same behaviour. I have to reboot the g watch and then it start charging. Definitely a bug
Same here, watch was charging wen I went to sleep but charging stopped at around 60%

I've expressed my frustration over at the Android Wear help forum:
https://productforums.google.com/fo.../VRbw2FWOaiI;context-place=forum/android-wear
Oddly, my watch did NOT include the wall charger even though I got it new from Best Buy. Did anyone else not get a wall charger? I'm not the type to just blindly miss something as useful as a USB wall charger. I remember opening it up and saying to myself, "I guess I'll have to use my monitors USB port." I don't throw that stuff out. I still have the box and all the packing materials as well, and it's nowhere in there.
I got my self a USB3 Type C cable to use with my phone for faster transfer of files from my Phone to my PC but it is very buggy.
Using the new cable with a USB 3 port I get all sorts of wired bugs and problems.
Most of the time my G5 wont show up on Computer so I can copy the files over. But it does work in Photo transfer mode but that limits access to the internal memory and photo folder only.
But If I connect using a USB 2 port everything works fine albeit slower.
So,
USB 3 cable in a USB 3 port = Buggy & Not working 99% of the time But does charge the phone.
USB 3 cable in a USB 2 port = Everything works fine
Anyone else have issues? Is there a known bug?
Hi - My g5 850 Works fine with original cable on a USB 3 Port.
Gesendet von meinem LG-H850 mit Tapatalk
same here
original cable and 3rd party cable seems just fine
Same here, no issues with original or 3rd party cable.
Just like to point out that the cable that comes with the phone is not USB3 it is just USB2
Well, it sound impossible, but it happened. By coincident my phone got so much hot while charging, after I unpluged it, it won't charge anymore..
These deadly combination are what makes this possible:
- crDroid N
- AGNi 2.2r3
- Pixel launcher (edit build prop device.modelixel)
- Quick charge 3.0 capable charger.
=> without any direct evident that one or more of those component are the main issue..
At first, it shows no charge indicator, but battery % raising. At 30% it was to hot that I can't bare anymore but to unplug it. After cool, I plug another charger, not charging anymore.. Same charger can charge other phone. So no problem on the charger side.
I desamble my wife rn3 to test my battery & charging dock pcb board, but both are fine. The only remaining unworking part is the main board..
But actually if I charge my battery on other phone, and then plug it to my phone, it will boot up. This leave another confution:
- Can software limiter (via kernel, etc) overole hardware limiter that causing my phone overcharge?
- What other part of phone hardware related to charging function (other than battery, usb charging dock / board & flex power cable?
- Any idea to fix it?
Any comment or idea will be much appreciate..

I've already mention that my micro usb port (and it's board) + battery are doing just fine, I can plug it to my other phone and they are working.
That leave me a question, how come ? How is it possible? Overcharge directly impact the main board, not the usb board.. Normally it only toast my limiter on the usb board, or worse it would blow my battery. But it is not what happened in my case..

Oh okay, your OP was a bit confusing. Well since it is definitely the main board then I honestly don't know for sure, probably something to do with heat and I am no hardware expert. Moral of the story: don't use QC on a device that doesn't officially support it just because it's chipset does.
Duplicate.
Hi I have the same problem, no charge does not recognize the pc board and I changed USB charging and battery and does nothing, I must forget it and buy another tlf?

nothing, and touched the kernel, it takes xiaomi.eu ROM 9.6.22 if I remember correctly, and restored a backup for TWRP and nothing, perhaps changing CM13 with the remaining battery 20℅ I can fix it .

Hello I am new here so if I chose wrong category for my thread then I am sorry.
Recently I bought a new LeEco Le Max 2 and I charged it for like three times and yesterday was the last time it worked.
I have seen different solutions what to do so I went to local store to buy different USB-C cable but it didn't help me at all. I even bought another one from another local store because I thought the problem was that the new USB-C cable may be not working but second new USB-C cable didn't help me as well so I think the problem is in mobile. I have flashed latest LineageOS 14.1 so I thought QC may be not working but charging through PC / notebook is not working too. I am completely lost and sad because I have used the phone for three days and it's broken already. Can somebody somehow help me what to do? I do not really think there is some local store where they could help me... Thanks
what about the original charger that come with the mobile?
During three days, how did you charge it?
Hello. I think Lineage is not better idea in this case. I will rather try to flash original Chinese ROM if you are familiar with using TWRP.

Solution was third USB-C cable!
Today I went to local repair shop and the guy tried another USB-C cable and charging is working again. I cannot believe that I had such a bad luck I bought 2 bad USB-C cables but luckily third one is working already.

I charged the phone through original charger that came with mobile with QC supported but I haven't flashed Lineage at that time. After I flashed Lineage I started to have some problems. I don't know if that's the reason why I had problem with charging but now with working charging again I don't really care. I am sorry for making this thread. Admin can lock it somehow if this is how is forum still working
Usb-C cable is much more expensive than usual micro-usb. That's why I've bought micro-usb/type-C connector and always use micro-usb cable.
Hello guys! I am using a Redmi Note 3 with stock kernel and NOS 8.1 ROM. My phone is not charging with most of the cables/chargers. Only a select few cables work. The stock Mi cable, Aukey and even expensive cables don't work. Only the chargers(non USB one) are working and it connects and disconnects immediately.
Kindly help me to fix this issue. The issue is really annoying
I am also facing same issue charger connects and disconnects immediately. Even when charging the phone in off mode it connects and disconnects. Tried several chargers and cables, all are showing same problem. I remember last time i installed a custom kernel after that this problem started. Hope to get some help

Your charging port is damaged. Like mine. Replacing it is the only solution

Yeah, I faced the same issue, there were some connection issues when I connected my phone to charger or computer. I soldered new usb port, but I recommend replacing the entire charging board, it's cheap and easy.
