WiFi problem after CWM restore

Hi guys. I unsuccessfully tried to flash a custom Rom and stuck my phone to Sony Ericsson logo. I also couldn't boot in CWM so I flashed from flash tool the stock firmware, rooted it, installed CWM on it and restored from the backup I had previously made with CWM before trying to flash custom Rom. I also wiped all data and caches and formatted system partition before restoring. The restore completed successfully buti Have one problem. When I try to connect to a WiFi network it reaches up to the point of getting IP address, and then disconnects. Why did this happen and how can I fix it without losing my restore?? I also noticed that if I set the IP address manually it connects normally. The automatic option won't work. Thanks

No MAC address

Hi!
I was trying to flash DU (Dirty Unicorns). I had to perform a full wipe (including system). When I was going to flash, I saw the zip was corrupted, but I just had a MIUI 7.3.2 backup. I flashed it, but I can't turn on WiFi, because MAC adress appears to be unavailable. I tried with some apps from Play Store, but no results at all. This happened to me another time, but flashing another ROM with full wipes fixed it. The problemas is that I can't download 400Mb now of another ROM, because I al not at home, and I can't use a computer now.
Any idea?
Thanks!!
Regards!!

Unable to encrypt

Hi
I had to clean flash my ROM since i messed up with some apps, so I decided to wipe internal as well and format it and then go for a clean flash
I wiped everything and flash AICP13.1 - O ( use this ROM as daily driver ) and flashed Magisk and Gapps and then rebooted as usual
I thought of encrypting the device ( since it would decrypt if its format obviously ) but encryption is not happening
The moment I hit encrypt, An android BOT logo appears and device reboots normally.
Next I tried to clean flash the ROM only ( No gapps and Magisk this time ) and tried to encrypt , but same problem
I also tried with different ROM - checked with CrDroid-O , same here too
Am I missing something here?
Please help
Thanks in Advance
PS: I am using latest global stable firmware 9.6.2XX
Changed recovery to orange fox, formated via orange fox and it helped.
encryption success

(CURTANA) Flashing ROM without flashing Vendor Partition.

Hi,
Anyone know how to flash a custom A10 rom (like RR/Havoc) without the vendor partition ?
Whenever I flash an AOSP based ROM with vendor partition built-in, I loose IMEI and WiFi doesn't work.
The only ROM I got working is the Old Official Evo X 4.5, which doesn't have the vendor partition files.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank You.
Never faced this issue before but have you updated your firmware. And I am curious how do you get your IMEI back again?

I was on MIUI latest global ROM(does that mean I had the latest firmware ?).
I get my IMEI back by flashing the MIUI fastboot ROM or any EU ROM.
IMEI has nothing to do with vendor. Vendor contains some low level os drivers. IMEI is present in persist. Did you wipe Persist by mistake. What is the installation procedure you are following sir.
