I am considering buying the Huawei 5X.
The company I work for is very strict on only allowing phones with current security patches to access corporate info. I can't seem to find definitive info on what the latest patch available for the 5X is. Can someone let me know what it is, and where I could find the information later? Does anyone know how long Huawei intend to release security patches for the 5X?
Also, how do people like the phone long term? I have had my last 3 phones (Samsung GalaxyIII, LG G4, LG Nexus5) die prematurely! (Samsung = dead SIM, G4 = dead wifi, Nexus = bootloop). All were run completely stock under minimal use. At this point, I am just looking for an Android phone that doesn't die. Are there any 5X build quality issues people have noticed after long term use?

Honor has shown they release updates less and less. When they release a new model they all but abandon the old one. This phone is all but forgotten by them. They expect you to move on to the 6x if you want updates

I do like the phone though.
I had been drawn to the Huawei as I saw it on a list of companies that are pretty good with patches. Basically, the ONLY reason that I am in the market for a new phone (currently using an old Samsung Alpha which is the best phone I've ever owned) is that I need it to access corporate data. If a patch is released and my company requires it and I don't have it, then I'm blocked from the corporate server. I like the Nexus line for this reason (quickest updates), but the 5 and 5x have this bootloop issue, and the 6 is just too big for my liking.
Thanks for the tip on the Honor 6X. I am leaning that way now.
Huawei/Honor is pushing updates on 3-4 months basis, and you'll probably still be stuck with old patchset. Mine was updated with September patches in November
If your company doesn't mind you running unrooted custom software (like mine does, they don't care what are you running as long as your phone is updated and you don't use warez), grab 5X and move it to LineageOS as soon as possible. 6X will get same treatment 5X is getting now, so if you must keep it stock & updated, better look at other manufacturers with better update history.
It's a pretty solid phone they just released a OTA for the January security patch 351 but you can root and use Lineage OS it's pretty solid. Also they tend to keep the security updates pretty recent and quicker.
As for the phone make sure you get a good solid case don't sit on it or keep in your hip pocket if you squat a lot mine tends to flex some on the housing and the volume rocker area gets bent alil bit. It's no biggy cause you can smush it back flush. Easy to take apart if you ever need to tear it down and you can always grab a extra housing off ebay for 20 bucks or so.
It didn't quite impress me last year since I was coming off a kind of roll where Huawei's Mate2 offered a whole lot of what I as a handset user expected such as OTG, Large screen, snappy response, etc plus for me the Honor 5x WAS Laggy and other occasional issues not experienced with my Mate 2 IMO.
However after returning back to Stock ROM (Factory New Again) recently and reapplying the latest release Marshmallow 6.01 and then pressing ahead with this newest update I am happy to announce that i'm back and pleased to peaches with Honor 5X FINALLY!
I knew this handset had some potential but whatever they did with updates it's for sure now pretty well ironed out as far as I can tell.
Like the above ---> IT IS A SOLID PHONE chalked full of options and very permissions configurable too if you like that about mobiles.
Don't buy the Honor 5X. The Galaxy S5 is way better and about the same price or less. Trust me.... These phones are garbage except for a few areas: Look, style, feel, battery, and camera. But the S5 still beats it in the Camera area. The battery life is fantastic. That's about it though.
The cons?
The speakers is the worst of any phone I've ever owned.
The performance is horrid no matter what ROM you run. <--- main reason I hate it
EMUI is the gayest thing ever.
Basically a very cheap iphone knock-off.

I've created this thread 1) out of curiosity and 2) to show Huawei (if they ever see this) what a mistake they're making.
If you're sticking with your Mate2, vote for that! If you're going to sell it, vote for that and please tell us what your selling price is/may be, and what phone you're buying next. And if you're unsure, there's an option for that.
Hopefully this'll help other people make their next phone decision or get Huawei's act together for the US, who knows?
As for me: I'd like to sell it; possibly looking into a used Note 3.

I'm also planning on selling my HAM2. I'm interested in the Nexus 6 but want to read RL user reviews. I also would like to see if there are any Google Play editions going to be announced soon that have decent screen size and big battery. Like most new Google phones, I suspect the supply chain for the Nexus 6 is going to take a few months to get enough phones out. Maybe Moto will be a nice surprise and get enough stock out early. I guess Huawei decided the North American market isn't worth the effort. Too bad. I suspect they've quit reading North American web pages after the reaction to their announcement about not updating to KK. (I really can't believe their callous responses to posts on their FB page. "Life goes on." Given that attitude, I suspect they're miserable at responding to warranty issues.)
I've only had my phone sim in it a few times, usually it's wifi only or sharing my tablet sim with my LTE N7 and unlocked AT&T Note 8. I have too many devices and need to move them. I want to go either with my Note 2 and 8, Note 2 and this with the tablet sim, or sell everything and go with an international Note 8 with the phone sim and a cheap T-Mobile branded phone for a backup with wifi calling.
"Wait and see" is what makes sense to me. The phone still has the attributes I bought it for. I'm disappointed that the phone is being neglected, but not sure I would have wanted the KitKat update if it had come. I had enough problems with various 4.4.x versions on the Nexus 4 that I would not have been an early adopter on the HAM2. I'm not exactly a fan of Huawei after the company's failure to adequately support their product, but I still remember that they freely provided the bootloader unlock code., something not many phone manufacturers do. So I think there are a few trade-offs involved.

I'm keepin it because I can't find any other phone as of today that is worth selling this for to get a replacement. Maybe in 8 months something better will come a long but then again maybe in 2 months or something we will have CM. The only phablet I can see worth money is the Sony Xperia Z Ultra but I think this phone is more rounded overall. I was ok with JB last week before the announcement and I'm ok with it this week just sad. This is a $300 budged phablet I bought not no $700 phone I found out was not being supported anymore. For the $300 I paid for this the battery and phone is great. A 5.5 inch screen is not a phablet to me. 6 inches and up I need and if someone can find me a worthy contender I would gladly upgrade because i'm so mad at Huawei. But as it stands its actually in a class of its own.
@ScoobSTi I've read enough of your post to know your also going to ride this wave with me. Its almost cheaper to buy a phone from someone who is mad and give it to a developer.. hahahah JK..or am I.. hmmmm

Thought about it more myself and it's still an awesome device and I think you would still get another year out of it. I may not get the latest android wear updates after April but Pebble said they are going to support 4.3+ with the next updates and I actually prefer my Pebble steel so I'm OK with that. Android wear has really been getting better lately and I'm excited to see what lollipop brings "Torn between two lovers, feeling like a fool" you know how the song goes.

The update means nothing to me. I had a 2+ year old Note1 still on 4.1.2 when I picked up the Ham2 in July, so updating isn't a priority.
I just want a device that works, is stable and has a great battery life. Ham2 fits that to a T.
I don't need bells and whistles, I don't play games. I use this as a tool for work. All my service calls are handled through a web portal,
I do a ton of email, text, scanning bar codes, few dozen photos of broken equipment etc. The OS on the device means nothing, as long as it is STABLE.I don't have time for FC's, reboots, lock ups, dropped signals etc.
Stable, battery life, good camera, clear screen, THAT is job #1 for a device.
As long as my Ham2 works, I'll keep it. Even if they did release an OS update, I'd hold off for at least a month, to make sure it was
rock solid stable before I were to install it.

I will say, it will be hard to replicate the Mate 2 battery life on any other phone for a couple of years, I'd presume. While you can certainly get a better screen and a faster phone, there's nothing on the market that even comes close battery-wise. I can get 72 hours uptime with 9 hours on screen routinely on the Mate 2. The people who have good life with the Note are getting ~20 hours uptime with 6 hours on screen.
I seem to have been getting decreased battery life, even with constant app killing, scanning, etc. so if I do switch I don't think it'll make too much of a difference.
Plus, if I do go for a Note 3, it has wireless charging... and a removable battery...

my battery has been perfect still. I get 2 days out of it on normal profile. and I had wireless charging on my G pro and it sucks trust me. it's not there yet

Ordered one this week let's see how it is or will return to newegg. Will be costing me less than $200 after I get rid of newegg and net10 gift cards.

Waiting....For Now
Have decided to go back to my S3 as my daily driver. While I love the size and battery life there are just a few too many quirks that aggravate me, and one item that will be a show stopper in the near future.
1. 3rd party camera apps aren't working for me....the flash timing doesn't sync up with the shutter so you end up with dark pictures even though the phone does the double flash to focus and reduce red eye.
2. Lockscreen...ugh. Stock is nasty and the way the kernel works, replacements (I've tried a dozen plus) have delays that flash the homescreen before kicking in.
3. Screen resolution...yes, it's 720p but Huawei somehow twerked the configuration to where it's not properly recognized by many apps, especially Themer/MyColorScreen won't recognize.
4. Notifications...even with apps identified as "protected", i.e. they're not supposed to be killed when the screen goes off, seem to get cached/suspended and notifications stop.
5. Speaker...for media it does OK but as a speaker phone? Can't hear people on the other end even in a quiet room with nothing but ambient noise (yes, I'm deaf as all get out but the S3 speaker is so much better).
6. SD Card...has the damn restrictions associated with 4.3, apps like Zooper widget etc. that can back-up settings are only able to store to internal memory, not external SD. *This is from my experience so there may be something I'm missing to fix this.
7. Back-up...the stock back-up seems to work ok and a lot has been fixed with TWRP...BUT there seems to be too many issues and with nandroid/titanium not working from what I've read I have decided rooting and modding with exposed/busybox hacks is too risky for now.
8. The show stopper...My company is going to enforce encryption on BYODs soon to access email, etc. Ran encryption on the phone, looked successful, but when went to validate it failed then when I restarted the phone it went back to being unencrypted. I know 4.3 can be a bit tricky with encryption but my device is now marked as "unsupported" by my IT and will not be able to access environments.
Keeping.
Still love the screen and the battery life.
If the Mate 7 comes available next year for the U.S. market for under $500 that'll be my next phone.

Keeping . It's the best device I've had , especially considering the price/performance ratio. I knew going into this purchase that the kit kat promise wasn't credible. If you want updates spend $600+ . This device fits the bill for a lot of consumers as is . Including myself . I have devices on kit kat and the experience on the HAM2 isn't hindered at all by the 4.3 OS . At least not for me , this thing is rock solid with outrageous battery life . What's the point of having bleeding edge specs with the newest OS if it doesn't even last a regular day ?? Always looking for a charge is so annoying . With this thing i don't even have a battery indicator percentage turned on , because no matter what i can't use up all the juice in one day even if i tried . I get at least 10 hours of on screen time per charge. Who knows, maybe Huawei is gonna fire back with a positive reply after their horrendous announcement . They've been very quiet on their social platforms , maybe they're trying to work something out with the big boys over in China . Just some thoughts .
I have an HTC M9 that we have now changed to being the "home phone". My wife picked up the Oneplus 3 and I got the Axon 7. Well guess what, my older M9 just got an OTA and updated to nougat..
While my Axon 7 and her oneplus 3 has no release yet (except hers has a beta).. One of the reasons for my Axon 7 purchase was because I thought it would have faster release times but I was wrong apparently. Anyone else feel this way?
I've been very pleased of the hardware of the phone, but the lack of software support is on the verge of me never getting another zte phone again. Wi-Fi calling, which was promised before the phone was released (which was the main reason I convinced my wife we needed new phones) still hasn't come. This is a huge issue to me, and zte has not commented on it for a while now. Very disappointing. They've definitely been dragging their feet on a lot of stuff.
Before we got these phones, we had the moto x pure edition. Great phone in terms of software, and hardware was pretty good for the time. All it was lacking for me to love it was wifi calling. Software updates were a lot slower than I had imagined they would be as well, but overall pretty good.
Yep. The software side of it stinks and is the only thing that lets this phone down. They really need to invest in giving a much better user experience. The phone rocks but the user experience sucks. They should try and stick to android and expand on features instead of trying copy ifeatures like a lot of phone manufacturers are trying to do.

Hate to beat a dead horse, but I am going to anyway. Daydream was a big selling point for me. Still waiting for that. Also, future official cyanogenmod support for those who choose to go that route. I'm really rethinking my decision. If ZTE doesn't do an about face soon on pushing out updates and fulfilling the features they advertised, I won't be buying another ZTE in the future.
I don't know any informed buying would expect ZTE release Nougat update sooner than OnePlus, for obvious reasons. Also the title of the thread implies there's a date for Axon 7's Nougat release... which is not the case.
So yeah, I'm thoroughly disappointed.

Paid flagship prices for crap, sorry to say. My most favored phone was a motorola flip phone, maybe I return to motorola.

I've had the MotoZ after the LG G4. Only short time. Since one year on Galaxy S8 and happy. Maybe a LG V30 as alternative?
I cannot say anything about a Verizon phone since I have no clue if they "tainted" the Moto Z too, making it different from global variants.
As for simply being worth it:
If you are paying less than 450$, it's definitely worth it.
The phone is snappy, hysterically thin for a phone ( it's as thick as an iPhone when you put a bulky case on it, otherwise it's only 5.2mm thick ), has a good camera, a great display and you will love the UI if you're a fan of stock Android.
However, if you can pay more than 450$, consider something like a Oneplus 5.
Battery is AWFUL. The phone is mostly smooth but if you use it for prolonged periods, it heats up and then starts lagging due to throttling.
Camera is reasonable at most but the camera lens get scratched easily, so the image quality could degrade over time.
Mods are funny at some point but are extremely expensive and there are chaper alternatives that work on any device, not being necessary to have a Z phone to use them.
Fingerprint scanner works but it's not the fastest and misses sometimes, and it get's really annoying when you have to try 4 or 5 times to unlock it.
Motorola has abandoned this phone, which hasn't received a security update since December and god knows when it'll get Oreo, and even worse, god knows what sort of bugs Lenovo interns will give us when Oreo finally arrives.
Doesn't have a headphone jack.
My particular unit developed severe burn-in after only 7 months of usage, but every display is different, so your mileage may vary.
Phone is so thin that it's unconfortable to hold without a mod attatched or a case, which is a bummer because the phone is good looking without anything on it. Also slippery as hell.
There are not many developers for the Moto Z, so there isn't many custom roms available compared to Samsung or even Sony. There are some unofficial builds from big projects like Lineage but there are some bugs here and there.
So, take it with a grain of salt because this is my experience, but beware because I'm not the only one reporting those issues. Just check out Lenovo forums and see how many battery drain topics are there, which got even worse after the 7.1.1 update.
Forget those awesome flip phones Motorola once built, because that company is dead. Motorola is just a brand name now, everything is Lenovo. When you boot the Moto Z there is a big ass Lenovo logo so you don't forget it. If I were you, I would go for the OnePlus 5 . Your experience may be worse with Motorola.
The phone uses nano sim though.

Don't. Battery life is awful, and Motorola does not support this device any more.
Mine got broken (bluetooth died), I sent it to Motorola for repair three months ago, and they refuse to fix or refund it, despite still being under warranty.

I've had my Moto Z since October 2017. I upgraded from Nexus 5x, which got bootloop. Is it worth it?
That depends on the price. I've got mine for 350$ and I'm pretty satisfied. The battery is similar to the one I've had in 5x (needs a recharge at the end of the day). However, with Incipio power pack it lasts a full day of heavy use.
No burn-ins whatsoever.
It was lagging a little bit at the beginning, but now its really snappy, miles better than my crap Nexus. I've played Vice City quite a lot and no major throttling issues happened to me (maybe some fps drops once a while, but it's not something drastic).
Motorola still supports this phone. Fast updates are long gone from the Google days, but they're still pretty average.
I really like this phone, but if I were you I would wait a little bit more for the Nokia 7 Plus. 2018 version looks amazing.
And stay away from any LG. They can't fix bootloop problems since G4. G6 and V30 are too young to judge if they're fine. They still may bootloop in the near future.
I forgot to add: Fingerprint sucks. Nexus 5x was better in that term.

just boughtit earlier today, worth it imo unless you have access to k20 pro. In my country K20 Pro and k20 considered illegal(need to check the official mi website, if its there based on your country,its legal. in my case there is no K20 and k20 pro in my country) so i can't buy it (i do can buy but it will have imei problem and the device can't be used anymore after 14 days)

Don't know what country you are from bro, but here's my take.
The Poco is still an amazing phone that holds up to this date. It has the latest Q software and current MIUI 11, which should be updated to MIUI 12 this year. This is a company that took care of the original buyers (since Poco originally under xiaomi) by providing updates up to this day. Sure it's not perfect, but what device and manufacturer is. But note that this may be the last update we are going to get. This is almost a 2 year old phone, and as you know most manufacturers don't even provide a 3rd major update (this was an exception). Don't fret though as this is a phone that a lot of enthusiasts have and a lot are still making ROMS for this phone, so even if we may not get an update beyond this year, we may still get some from the devs here.
Another point to take is that this phone is still a beast. Forget those guys who claims their phones slow down etc, most of them rely on benchmarks which is not always the way to see whether a phone is bad or not. Based on personal experiences, I've rarely experienced any lags on this phone and neither had any touch issues. Btw, I've unlocked the phone and rooted, but aside from substratum and lucky patcher for some games, I've seldom made any other changes on it (of course providing root access to greenify and sd cleaner, but nothing major like adding xposed and such). This may be why I've never had such issues because as you know if you have altered the phone a lot, complications may arise if you update.
So like i said, this phone holds up. I play NBA2K20, Asphalt, Pubg and other mobile intensive games and rarely experienced any major issues. The sd845 holds up.
As for cams, that may be the weakest point of this phone. I mean for the price it is great. It provides a solid enough cam experience that you can use it to capture good photos for insta and fb. But it won't blow you away. The front cam is great. The IR Cam is so useful in any situation to unlock the phone whether it's on your desk, even in the dark.
Battery life holds up nicely. Sure it doesn't give me a long life like before, but during intense gaming of about 3 hours, I still have about 25 to 30 percent left. The charging is good too. It's not as blazing fast as most phones today, but should suffice.
That said. Here's a major talking point. The phone is old, it shows in the cam and possibly no further major update (aside from maybe security patches), but you can rely on xda devs to provide support still. But if you can get your hands on a K20 Pro or K30 Pro, then get your hands on them. Not only will you get either last year's phone with about a year or two more of updates, but updated specs, or the current redmi flagship killer with about 2 years to 3 (if they follow the current poco trend) but you'd have a future proof phone as it has 5G and a more versatile cam array with the latest processor.
This depends on your budget too. If you're looking for a lower price than the last year redmi or current, then I'd go with the Poco than latest midrangers due to the power of the SD845, I'm not a cam user much anyway. But if you need a better cam and not much into power then the current midrangers can offer that for you and I'm not disparaging midrangers, the current processors are powerful, but not yet to the power of the sd845 despite it being a 2 to 3 year old processor

Poco f1 has got update to Android 10. The snap 845 is still being used by some premium phones.
Hi, I've had Moto phones like the Razr-i, G4 Play, and G7 Play but am growing unhappy with their limited security updates. I worry more about being up to date with security patches as there is always more news about exploits. I'm not familiar with OnePlus. Are they consistent about security updates? I see a claim of more years of support, but wonder how it works in practice for the budget models. In my experience, Moto has been pretty lackluster in pushing updates even before the 2 year window expires.
Has anybody here also used budget Moto phones and already switched to the N200 5G? How much difference would I find using this phone?
As my username says, I am a light user of Android. I mostly use it to glance at the Google Calendar, Slack notifications, and calls and SMS. I use desktop and laptop computers for most of my regular email, web browsing, etc. But, I've noticed that it is hard to read web pages on a 720 pixel wide screen because it is fuzzy if you scale so that the whole page fits. I also see it stutter, and assume this is because my current phone only has 2GB RAM.
I disable the Google assistant and actually want a phone to be more like an idle pocket computer, not a busy bee trying to be clever and annoying me with suggestions, integrations, etc. I have been able to configure the Moto launcher to be boring like that. Can that be done with the N200 or would I need to install Nova launcher or something?
I use Mint, a T-Mobile MVNO and care about stability for calls with both VoLTE and WiFi Calling. I don't really care about 5G speeds vs LTE but would hope it makes the cell connectivity more stable rather than less?

Huh... you don't think the N200 will get regular updates? Or are you saying OnePllus doesn't provide good security even if it is up to date? Do you think OnePlus is less secure than Moto or the same?
I feel like the pixels are in a different price bracket.
I'm just gonna point out that OnePlus is a Chinese company, and uses an Android OS variant made in China.
Chinese companies are not exactly known for keeping other countries (or their own) personal data secure (quite the opposite).
Take that how you will.
Hmm, do people think OnePlus is any less secure than Moto? Moto is also a Chinese company (part of Lenovo).
I find this hard to sort out.... those factories have to be trusted to put together the hardware and image the firmware. Even the pixel phones are made there, aren't they? If you go down this path questioning it, why assume that any software update afterwards can secure it, if the origin is murky? :-/
Edit: I've wondered the same thing about used phones and how permanently someone can tamper with it. That's one reason I am buying new budget phones and wondering about the N200 versus the Motos!

yes, stables calls and connectivity in Los Angeles area with Tmobile. As of the time of this writing its on July Security Patch. If you are worried aobut exploits and want the latest patches it best to just go with a official google supported phone the like Pixel series or a Iphone as they keep up to date with security patches on their latest devices.
In my experiance if you just want it for calls and text and the like you should be ok. I just came off a pixel 3a for this phone and before that I did the samsung s thing and before that the motorola cliq series. Am I totally thrilled with the phone? No, it's a budget phone that runs better than any other budget phone I have seen, however, it is still a budget phone My hope is that as soon as we can get root that the phone will rock due to it actually having decent hardware. So it's more of an expectation thing. Sounds like it will be fine for your use case, Good readability screen and enough horsepower for what your doing.

Im saying you want cheap and android and stable security patches? Go with the mother of it all, pixel (not the high-end ones of course).
I got the n200 because of "free" from tmo, it's not what im used to thought. This phone is weak and slow and 5G/wifi speeds suck.
If those basic functions are sooo weak and you oneplus officially said: 1 major upgrade of the OS, you just know this little weak guy doesn't have a long life in the security updates either

I've got the unlocked variant from the OnePlus store. I got an update on August 4th with the July 2021 security patch, so that's what I have now. Before that, I had the 2021-04-01 update.
I'm going to join in and *not* recommend OnePlus for light android users. They don't have a great long-term update policy - see articles like https://www.androidpolice.com/2021/...e-commitment-is-uninspiring-yet-unsurprising/. They also anecdotally don't have a great support team, and don't deal with factory-broken hardware well (for example, the microphone issues with the OnePlus One which left many users without a very inconsistent microphone when making calls on phone speakers or speakerphone).
The reason the community likes OnePlus is not their updates, though. It's the custom ROM community: every OnePlus phone has its ROM released, and has an unlockable bootloader.
What this means is *if you're willing to install a custom ROM*, you're almost guaranteed the community - XDA forums and the like - will provide updates above and beyond the product's lifetime. With this, for example, the OnePlus One, released in 2014, still has new community-based updates today! This also means you get a guaranteed ability to root the phone, and thus can change and optimize the OS for your usage.
To be clear, if you're willing to use comumunity-produced ROMs, and understand the benefits and drawbocks of that, OnePlus phones are great. Lots of people will be drawn to them, similar to google phones, and you'll get software for into the future at the cost of having to rely on builds provided by strangers on the internet.
If you aren't, or have never installed a custom ROM and would rather not, don't get OnePlus. The three things they've had going for the are: custom ROMs, hardware that's specced above what you'd expect at the price point, and marketing. Software is not their strong suite.
I really like the Nord N200's hardware design, it's great bang-for-buck, and it seems quite sturdy. But people have *already* reported microphone issues when using cases which with OnePlus's track record will probably never be fixed unless you apply the fix yourself as part of a custom ROM, and you won't be happy 2 or 3 years down the road when your options are to run an outdated OS or rely on strangers online to provide custom OS builds with no guaranteed support or bugfixes, and which automatically void your warranty when installed.

the ATLEAST "one major update" will probably be a jump to the next major android version, however the " regular maintenance updates" will be the regular security patches that they most likely roll out in a timely fashion as they are known to do usually. It sounds like it will be s supported just like any other oneplus phone in my opinion. The hardware is decent for the price and considering its free from tmobile (cant beat that), its actually runs everything fine including all the games ive played just fine (Call of Duty , CLASH OF CLANS), the only super major weak disaappointment is the camera, considering Xiaomi can make sub $250 budget phones with a impressive budget camera, it puts the N200 camera to shame. I dont know your 5G test environment but in Los Angeles where i am, if i lock onto the same 5G bands as my friends Iphone 12,, i actually get better 5G speeds than my friend who has a Iphone 12 Max. WiFi speeds seem normal to me, but then again i am only 10-15 feet away from the router most of the times.

Sorry, I'm just a user looking at my G7 Play which says "your software is up to date" and a February patch level, and finding only disappointment when I look at the available replacements and consider how soon I'll see this again...
Thanks all! I guess I am hearing the message that I need to either adjust my belief about what "budget" means (to consider Pixels etc) or accept that security is not included at the budget level...
