One Plus X Bluetooth pairing problem with Audi MMI - OnePlus X Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a problem in pairing my OnePlus X with the Audi MMI system bluetooth.
After the update to Android 6 (OxygenOS 3.1.4) and a factory reset i tried to connect the OPX. i was able to connect both the Phone and the multimedia audio, Then I got this notification: "Bluetooth media browsing, peer support advanced features, re-pair from peer to enable it".
Everything was working so I ignored It and swiped away. The problem shows when i reconnect the OPX to the Audi MMI, the phone part works fine but i am not able to conennect the media part. Bluetooth settings for that device on OPX are correct. I tried to delete the device registraton both with OPX and Audi MMI and re-pairing but it doesn't work. The only solution was a factory reset of the OPX but then again it stopped working on the second connection. Any solutions?

I had already read that thread before posting my problem but except for the notification, the problems seem to be unrelated. I'd say update that car system is a bit complicated from what i know and the fact is that it works fine with other andoroid M devices (I tested Nexus 6P and Moto G3) so i think the problem is somewhere in Oxygen OS

Try the "bluetooth phonebook" apk from the store. Test the trial one to see if it works.
Then unactivate "IrMC" in the settings.

I had the same Problem, Phone was connected to my Audi A1 2012, telephone was no problem but there was no Audioplayer-Connection.
Today I downloaded the latest Bluetooth-Driver from the Audi-Homepage and installed him over SD-Card. This lasts 5 minutes and now, voila, audioplayer connect and Plays. Phone works, too.

At the end the solution was to update the Bluetooth driver of the Audi MMI System.
-Just download the update here: https://www.audi.de/de/brand/de/kun...kommunikation/handyvorbereitung/download.html
(Don't know why they provided it only in the deutsch version of the site)
-Unzip into the root of a SD card
-Update through "Setup MMI" voice in the main menu
-Re-pair the device just to be sure
@Kéno40, thanks for your help!

[Q] Bluetooth handsfree problem

Hello,
I am an owner of Xperia X10 mini pro running 2.1 version of android (latest official firmware release). After the update to 2.1, I am experiencing some difficulties with the connection to a bluetooth handsfree in my car (Parrot CK3000 Evolution). The problem is that I am able to pair the phone with the device, however I cannot connect to it (it is still shown in the bluetooth device list as Parrot v5.10D with a description "Paired but not connected").
Before the update, it worked perfectly with android 1.6.
Because now I am very annoyed of this problem, I have started to investigate more and managed to log some error messages:

Please anyone, have you ever seen such problem? Do you have any suggestions how to deal with it? I also tried to manually use hcitool and hidd to connect to the device (found on the androidobex homepage), but hidd --connect gave me an "Unknown Error". I do not know if this is a bluez bug or anything else, but I am stuck now.
Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Sry man, I dont use bluetooth handsfree, but if problem persist, you can downgrade to 1.6, or trying installing some custom rom.

I had this problem a few months ago, but I directly had the 2.1 version, so I don't know if it worked with 1.6 firmware.
The problem was in the ck3000 I updated it to version 5.25C and it started to work perfectly.
Whatever, before update your handsfree try to weap its memory pressing both buttons at time for a few seconds, erase the device from your bluetooth devices list in the phone, then try to connect them again. (password 1234 in ck3000 evolution, if you don't remind it).
If it doesn't work... you should have to update it in a garage or repair shop, because this handsfree doesn't admit bluetooth update.
I promise you that with that ck3000 firmware version and the original sony version of the x10 mini pro firmware 2.1 it works.
In other kind of things... Now I have problems with cyanogen minicm7pro v21 and this bluetooth. It connects, speakers and the microphone work perfect, but buttons to pick up and down calls don't work.
Do you know something about?
I'm looking in forums but I don't find anything...
PD: Sorry about my english, it is not my natural language
Delete paired connection and reboot. Again pair device. May this help you.

Problem with samsung SM-G550FY on5 wifi connecting disconnection every 15 sec

Hi,
I got this phone for my mother. It doesn't connect to Wi-Fi at all at home.
SM-G550FY is the model (ON 5) and I am able to connect to other Wi-Fi routers in other places . I can connect other Samsung phones to my tp -link router. I t connects and disconnects every 15 seconds but some how when I browse to play store thru pc it shows online but error while installing apps.
I tried factory reset, change Wi-Fi to unencrypted, changed to wireless g and tried safe mode . Also tried to install Wi-Fi manager but no use.
I am in Uk and trying to debug thru calls and using pc and service centre doesn't do any good saying it works on their router. How do I find what's wrong ? Using some logs can I see the issue ?
Not sure if it is a problem with my router or isp coz before I had to set MTU 4100 on some pc to use else pages wont load.No custom firmware is available and it is running android 5.x..
Update to latest firmware and smart switch option Is not there. Disabled sleep for Wi-Fi .
Pain since I have to make some one do it remotely and menus differ from phone to phone.
Any help?
*#0011* doesn't work

I have a SM-G5500 and i was having the same issue in my home router. i factory reseted the router and it worked.
Don't factory reset router ,.. only for extreme cases
1.Check if ur wifi channel on ur router is 11 or 6 or 1
---------- Post added at 01:35 ---------- Previous post was at 01:34 ----------
2.Check security type : wpa , wep , wpa2 , wpa2psk try different encryption securiry
---------- Post added at 01:35 ---------- Previous post was at 01:35 ----------
3.Still not working now factory reset
I tried even disabling encryption and did factory reset of phone and router but no use...
Samsung cleanly said there is no issue and I am sure its a bug somewhere in their os.
Wep : it doesn't even find the network ..
May be only some types supported or enabled.
Any codes like 00100#? or any logs?

How to make aptx work

Hi guys, got a little problem.
I Cant get a aptx connection with my bluetooth-headset. Just the usual sbc-connections works. But first some facts about the used hardware and software
As rom i flashed the RR-OS (tunderized) (Android 7.1.2) - works stable and fine since months so far, so no problems till now
The bluetooth headset is a RHA MA750 Wireless. I've tested them on my old LG G3, where aptx worked with the same headset.
I've started a Logcat to view the used bluetooth codec of the connection. On my Moto Z it says "SBC" and on my LG G3 its "APTX"
So far I read, that the Moto Z has not an officially aptx support (if I'm right), but the needed codec files are in the corresponding system folder. Also tried to flash the aptx.zip (those from xda) file for most actual Snapdragons via TWRP - but all without success. Deleted the headset on the phone, but still sbc-codec.
Does anyone have an idea or clue how to make it work?

Can't connect Bluetooth devices after fresh LineageOS14.1 install on a Kindle HDX 8.9

Hello!
Here are the system specs:
Device: Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 (3rd gen, apollo)
Android Version: 7.1.2
LineageOS: 14.1 (ggow's most recent build for this device)
TWRP 3.2.3-1
OpenGApps 7.1 (nano/arm)
Bluetooth devices I've tried to connect without success:
Keyboard: AmazonBasics Wireless Keyboard model KT-1267
Headphones: Anker SoundBuds NB10 model AK-A32600M1
Headphones: Anker SoundBuds NB10 model AK-A3260011
Here's what I did to set this Kindle up with Lineage OS and OpenGApps:
Using adb and fastboot from my Linux desktop, I flashed TWRP
Did a complete wipe of the device from TWRP
Installed Lineage OS and OpenGApps using TWRP
I did this process a couple of times to try Magisk and MagiskManager, but the most recent time I did those steps I did not install Magisk or MagiskManager. The device is rooted, and each time I went through those steps I did a complete re-wipe to start fresh.
When trying to connect headphones, the device shows up in the list of available devices on the Kindle. I select them, it grays out to show that it's Pairing... and never connects successfully. Both headphones connect to other devices successfully.
When trying to connect the keyboard, I get to the part where I'm given a pairing code to type in. I type it in, hit enter, and nothing happens. Eventually I get an error: "Couldn't pair AmazonBasics keyboard because of an incorrect pin or passkey"
Here's what I've tried:
Replaced batteries in keyboard.
Connected the keyboard and headphones to other devices (all have successfully paired with phone and desktop)
On my Lineage OS Kindle, I went to Settings > Apps > Selected Show system > Bluetooth extensions > Storage > Clear Data (there was no cache to clear so I couldn't click that button as well)
I also reset the network settings via Settings > More (under Wireless & networks ) > Network settings reset
Restarted my kindle after each of the previous to steps.
The headphones are from 2017 and the keyboard is from 2015. I'm mostly sure this isn't a problem with backwards compatible Bluetooth versions but I haven't been able to figure out which version each device is using.
At this point I may just get a mini-USB keyboard to use with my tablet but I'd love to hear anyone's ideas on getting Bluetooth to work. Bluetooth did work a few days ago when I was running a Fire Nexus ROM from 2016 (I had Android version 4 with that ROM).
Thank you for your time <3
And a huge thank you to the team behind Lineage OS, and to this community. On Android v4 I couldn't use Termux so my tablet was mostly for reading. Even if I can't get Bluetooth working I'm stoked to have Android v7 and can't wait to start doing way more with it!
I am having the same problem as you on a HDX 7 I just unlocked with 1-Click and flashed with Lineage OS 14.1 yesterday. Bluetooth seems to be working and finds new devices, but pairing process fails. BT was working fine with stock OS previously.
Take a look at this thread (down the page a bit), it seems the same thing happens with AOSP and it might be an inherent problem with the HDX. They do describe ways to get devices paired, and once paired they are easy to re-connect. My HDX is at home and I have not tried their suggestions yet:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/kindle-fire-hdx/orig-development/rom-aospextended-t3691138/page27
Using the tips in that thread I posted, I have now been able to pair multiple Bluetooth devices (2 sets of earphones, keyboard, and trackpad) and once paired, re-connecting is seamless so far on my 8.9 HDX running Lineage 14.1.
I was able to easily connect a Zagg Limitless Bluetooth keyboard on the first attempt. After that, I was able to pair other devices by tapping keys on the connected keyboard while pairing with the other devices. Doing it that way, everything else paired on the first try and has worked great.
From reading around, only 4.4 KitKat ROMs have bug-free Bluetooth (I loaded a 4.4 based Lineage on my 7" HDX and the Bluetooth works without a hitch there.) But if you can manage to pair one device, you should be able to pair others after that on newer ROMs.
After a little more usage, I am finding the Bluetooth is sometimes flaky- some devices always re-connect great, some are not consistent. Also, I sometimes need to turn wifi off and on to re-connect after sleep.
For these reasons I decided to install Lineage 11 which is 4.4 based, so far these things seem more consistent (have not used too long yet though.) Anyway it's amazing to have options for such an old device.
Thank you for posting this! I forgot to check back on this thread, but I'm going to give this a shot and see if I can make it happen.
