Touch sounds not working on my Android 6.0.1 speakers. - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
My model is CAT S60 (recently bought) and I am having issues with touch sounds as there are none. I have looked up other threads and i tried Volume control + and Audio manager to increase the system sound but it's already on max and still there is no sound.I had no issues with the sound when I got it, but now there is no sounds. The lock/unlock sound is also somewhat silent now. Although when I use earphones, the touch and lock sounds work properly. I have done factory reset and hard reset 5 times now but in vain.
In addition to this, there is 1 more peculiarity but i am not sure if it is related to my main issue or not, i.e when i connect my phone to my pc (mtp ) i can access my internal storage but it doesnt show the memory available as it did earlier.
Kindly help me with this issue.
Thanks

[q] galaxy s3 volume going crazy

Hi, I have been using my Galaxy S3 for more than 1 year and now it is showing a strange problem. The problem is whenever I connect my earphone in to play music the volume becomes crazy, and it increases or decreases automatically. Eventhough I try to control it by soft volume control, it increases further, it looks like someone else is controlling it. I have tried formatted SD card, wiped data, tried different ROMS and also scanned my device with antiviruses but still none is working for me. And, this happens only with earphone plugged in, I have searched various forums but I haven't got any solution for this. So any suggestion guys????

[Q] S3 - I9300 speaker not working

I've had a very strange issue crop up yesterday. My external speaker (the one on the back of the phone) volume has suddenly become very very low, you have to hold it to your ear to hear anything. The headphones and all are working fine
OS: CM11 M8 - been using this for over a week now
Stuff I've tried
1. I don't think I installed any app or made any update that would make the speaker behave this way.
2. I've checked the volume panel and all are at full. I've tried using multiple music players/alarms etc to see if it works and the volume is extremely low in all of them.
3. I've tried rebooting the phone.
Please help
Edit: a couple of forums say that it might be due to the headphone jack not recognizing that headphones have been removed. Seems possible since my speaker is not crackling/buzzing and gives clear sound but at a very very low volume level. Any suggestions on how I can fix this?
Help ... tried cleaning the headphone jack, removing the battery and restarting the phone. Not willing to do a factory reset if it's a hardware fault
What do you suggest ?
Got it solved, and in a very strange way
Restored my orignal 4.0 rom with twrp image. That suddenly caused all my speakers to start working. Moved back to the CM image and everything still works fine
Weird but true, mods can you add solved to the title

[Android 5.1.1 Malaysk MTCB] No sound

Hey people,
I have a problem since a few hours. I started my HU 3188RK 1024x800 with the malaysk firmware android 5.1.1. Than I open my music app and press play. But the problem now: I can't hear anything, only the little noise if you do the volume very loud but only if i play music otherwise it is completely mute and you hear nothing (you know what i mean?). Restart and plug off the radio are not the solution. The "beep" form Keypressing works (in Mute-Mode too), but why? The rest aren't working. Have anyone solutions?
Thanks
BTW: Sorry if it's the wrong section. Please move it if it is false.
Now i tried to put off the usb hub and the dab receiver. And than it works. So i knew that the usb hub makes problems. Than i look into the dev options and see deactivate usb routing for media. I changed the options (activate it) and than it works. So it seems that android thought it is a usb media controller. Problem solved and happy now with that!

Huawei Mate 10 Lite sound problems

Hello! I've searched everywhere for answers and fixes about my problem, but unfortunetly I didn't find anything.
Problem 1: Since I installed the latest update to Oreo [RNE-L21I 8.0.0.332 (C432)] I have problem with the stock EQ, and others from the Play Store - when bass boost is turned on, the sound from headphones is awful. When bass boost is turned off this issue disappears, but is annoying since I really enjoyed the sound before installing this update. I tried different pairs of headphones, different EQ apps, restarting, Hard resseting, etc. no fix unless I turn off bass boost.
Problem 2: When I connect my phone via AUX cable to my car, home subwoofer or anything like that music play normally for 2-3 mins then somehow volume is turned down (and when I check is turned to the max, so it's not that the volume is turned down to protect the hearing) and the only fix is to get out the cable and insert it again. This is also really annoying, because I can't listen to one song normally. Yes, I tried different cable (like I already said it happens to different devices), hard resseting and etc. And yes, the problem is still on when I use the stock music app, YouTube and other apps, so it's not an issue with the app. I also found out that my dad has the same issue with his Huawei Y5 II.
I really look forward to any fix since I really enjoy this phone, it's been only a month since I bought it and yes, it is in warranty but I want to try anything that I can do to fix this before I send it.

Why is my mic and speakers no longer working?

Hey everyone,
So this issue has been ongoing for a while and it's a pretty confusing one. (Running OG Pixel from Canada, originally from Telus)
My speakers and microphone suddenly stopped working when I upgraded to Android 9. I thought it could have been a hardware failure, but after much testing it's clearly software related.
I bought a Bluetooth headset, audio works when it's rooted to a Bluetooth device, but the microphone still doesn't work.
When I go into settings, and adjust the volume for the ringer and the alarm, my speakers work.
When I boot into safe mode, my microphone works for one recording, then stops working. However my speakers don't work in safe mode.
I have flashed an OTA recovery, done a factory reset and also uninstalled updates to the phone, sms and camera app in a hopes it was an issue with one of those.
Any ideas of what it could be?
Do I need to install TWRP and reflash a custom rom?
