Logic X4 and X4m rom - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi. need help with this two. Almost impossible to find firmware for Logic X4, found one that fails to write (Error S Not Enough Storage Space Sp Flash Tool) and other that finished succesfully but left the phone with no display. For Logic X4m havenĀ“t found any. These are china phones MTK based. Tried to find specs that give me light on the matter unsuccesfully. Even wrote to Logic support asking them roms. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Did you find the rom for your phone? I need to flash my Logic X4m LITE. It will only boot to the recovery menu.

[Q] ORION TAB-700QC firmware needed (atm7029 cpu)

Sal all,
I cannot find firmware for this tablet. It's a 7inch, dual camera, atm7029 quad core cpu, that doesn't start, but i can write firmware with Actions Pad Product Tool.
The only available firmwares for this type of cpu (atm7029) i was able to find, were from Ainol tablets, but these are not good.(only lights start 1sec)
Can someone help ?
10x in advance !
Hi! There is a similar device firmware from (Russian): (yadi.sk/d/Wku6HWTxKkaKa)
But WiFi and camera other.
System image
Here is the image of the system partition. Dumped with ADB from a working tablet. (512MB)
(mediafire.com/download/roc8870rirvt3hw/actc_system.img)
And this is the image of the recovery partition: (48MB)
(mediafire.com/download/fd30kaio8xb490j/acta_recovery.img)
If you want to see what's inside the images, mount the image in Linux, or use Linux Reader if you're using Windows.
How to use the actc_system.img and acta_recovery.img
Hi, I'm an android newbie needing help. I found this thread while searching for how to deal with a bootlooping Orion TAB-700qc tablet belonging to a friend.
Apparently my friend tried to update the tablet with the wrong update (I'm not really sure what he did), but it went into a bootloop -- it will not get past the "android" screen. I found how to go into the Recovery menu but nothing there would fix the problem. I have downloaded the actc_system.img and acta_recovery.img discussed in this thread, but I need step-by-step instructions for how to use them to get the tablet working again.
Can someone please direct me to instructions that I as a newbie will understand? I have worked a lot with pc's but I have almost no experience with androids.
Thanks,
cmNhu

[Q] Goophone i5 DEAD - Please help

Hello everyone! Happy new month as we say in Greece!
I'm new to your forum (but I visit the forum way to often to find answers to some of the problems that my friends have with their android phones)
I am a iOS user since the release of the first iPhone (2G) and i still use that phone as my primary device.
Due to economical issues I never could buy a newer version of the device.
So I thought... an iPhone clone might do the trick for me!
SO I bought a used Goophone i5.
The specs that antutu gave me was that the phone had:
Quad-Core CPU (MT6589 if I'm not mistaken) --> which is a lie, because the phone in factory mode (Power + Vol down told me it was a dual core mt6577)
2GB RAM
I wanted to fresh install the ROM of the phone and I went to needrom.com to find the ROM for my phone.
I extracted the downloaded files and with SP Flashtool i followed the steps to install the ROM.
But once the green circle appeared in my PC monitor, and told me that everything was OK I ejected the phone cable and tried to power on the device.
The device doenst show ANY kind of response to anything (no dev manager port appearance or anything) and that means i cannot install another ROM or even go to recovery mode to install another rom OR even try another ROM from SP Flashtool.
I tried to locate the test point of the device but i couldn't since I've never tried that before and i am kinda scared that i will ruin my new pretty shiny iPhone clone.
Here are some images of the inside of the device (not taken by me) :

http://imagizer.imageshack.us/a/img132/1700/u36i.jpg
My questions are the following:
1) Can someone help me find the test point and give me step-by-step instructions on how to connect my phone again to SP Flashtool?
2) Is there a way to avoid finding the TP and just flashing a new ROM?
3) Does someone have the same problem as me out there?
4) Is there a newer ROM with ios7 looks?
Thanks to all,
hope you can all help me and then help you if needed :highfive:

UP. Anyone?
up!
No one knows how to do this?
The things I also tried was to charge the battery from a external charger with leads and connect it to another device to see if it still works.
The battery so does work
But still cant locate the test point and cant connect the device to SP Flashtool.

[q] brom error: S_ft_enable_dram_fail (4032)

Hello, I have a big problem, I wanted to install a new rom pres latest version of the Flash tool and I formatted the phone and then wanted to install (download), and instead I'm still writes an error:ERROR BROM: S_FT_ENABLE_DRAM_FAIL (4032).
You really do not know what to do, I tried a thousand thousand ROMs and flash TOOL, perhaps thousands of drivers on the phone MKT6589 drivers and still nothing.
I have a cell phone Star S7189 and it would not fit me because I am from Czech Republic and I ordered it from China, plus all the information to calmly bring upon request, but I'd be happy if someone advise how to fix it and install a ROM there calmly and basic .
Sorry for my English is not very good. I enclose a picture of what I'm doing.
Thank you for your willingness to help me solve.
The fact is quite acute as I am without a phone to free his right hand.

I am facing a similar problem after formatting my device.
Did you ever find a solution?
Yes, I have already found a solution, it was a problem in the ROM, it is necessary to find an original ROM only on the specific type of cell phone and everything goes smoothly.

Hi I am new here I got the same error in my huawei y511 u30 I formated by mistake the preloader I downloaded the original firmware but with no hope it doesn't work I get error 4032 in sp flash tool

Bricked Dapeng N9880 MTK6575

as the title suggests rogue app(s) managed to utterly trash my 6" chinaphone, ive checked pretty much every forum post in existance i can find regarding how to get it back to factory standard but cant find anything that works, most posts end up talking about the Star/Upai N9880 which should be the same however the roms/recovery images for that refuse to work on SP Flash Tool, complaining about running out of space so im guessing its not compatible at all with those roms.
SP Flash Tool Error is always BROM ERROR : S_DL_PMT_ERR_NO_SPACE (5069)
Cant find a single rom for the Dapeng model tho, just Upai/Star, everything on the flash tool side works its just that i have nothing that will actually flash properly (only thing that fits is the preloader).
any clues as to where i can get the proper factory rom(s) from instead of the few star/upai modified packages which refuse to flash?
cheers for any help tho i suspect its a dead weight.

[Q] Please help me to find the right (working) ROM for MTK device

Dear Friends,
maybe you find this request stupid, but... My small daughter became an old crappy tablet as a gift. For YouTube an some movies was the machine OK, but was full with trash software and apps. I decided to re-flash the device with the latest possible and clean FW (the thing i do with every device...). The mentioned device is a cheap Polish license, Chinese made machine. Finding the right FW was absolutely not easy, but i found one exactly for this device. Regarding to the comments it was, but the reality was not. The flash went without problems via SP Flash Tool, but after that the device doesnt start-up. The PRELOADER was maybe from other model, or it was somewhere mismatch but the SP Flash Tool let me flash the device and bricked it -> DRAM ERROR 4032. Since this time, i try to download and flash tons of GBs of FWs, but without luck. Always DRAM error, chip or EMMC / NAND mismatch. I have never experinced troubles like this...
I have some information about the device, can you please assist me to restore to FW ?
Lark Evolution X2 7 3G-GPS
Android 4.2 or 4.4.2
MT6572
Thank you very much !

Thank you very much for your response. That was exactly the first ROM which i used, and the ROM which bricked the device. In scatter file and in the description is mentioned MT6582 as chip. My opinion was, this is mistake, so i edited the the scatter file to MT6572 to match my needs. But as i wrote upper, it was something different...
