Hi everyone,
Just wondering if you guys have any issues on eBay app?
I got "no Internet access" when I opened eBay app, other apps can access Internet. in the eBay app "settings", I can see lots of developer options, any idea?
Also, I couldn't make Google Assistant worked on my Yota3, always says not available on this device. I am on Y3XSCN06A1000MPX1902251.
I've installed:
Google Play services 17.1.21
Google Play Store 14.5.20-all
Google App 9.72.2.21
Google service framework 7.1.2
Google Partner Setup 7.1.2
Tried to set language to English(US) clean data and reboot, no luck.
Anything I am missing?
Thanks!
Install Google Play Store
Update MIUI to latest version

Google Services Framework [9-4832352] (noarch)
Google Account Manager (noarch)
Google Play Services (arm64)
Google Contacts Sync (noarch)
Google Calendar Sync (noarch)
Google Play Store (universal)
Enable Google Contacts / Calendar synchronization
Go to Settings → Manage apps → Google Contacts / Calendar Sync
Enable Autostart and give all possible permissions such as write and read permissions over your contacts / calendar events
Restart your phone
It may take some time to apply.
Configure Google Pay
Download Google Pay
Go to Settings → More and set Default wallet to Use HCE Wallet

Hope this helps

You should go on apkmirror.com
China version has built-in Google service in settings.
Just need to activate it.
Hi all, the following link is a one-click installer for Google play store and it's framework. It's in English. Please enjoy!

I tried the Google Installer of the Mi App Store but it did not work.
I encountered this error for most apps: Can't downgrade apps.
That is why I have listed the apps above so you know what to install and you are sure to get the latest versions for each.

I see. I have found a few Google Installer apps that might help but they are all in Chinese.... So your method might be the best

you update to 10.3.8, then go to app store, download google play store directly, and enjoy.
I also try the google installer and got error, but then find out that app store can install google play. Google service is on be default.
I can't sync contact,
Can't see contact sync option in Setting-->sync-->Google..
I installed all app from Google installer 3.0 & Google Contacts Sync (noarch) from apk mirror.

I had the same problem. Try to reinstall it, enable autostart and disable any energy restrictions in App Infos. Restart your phone eventually.

Weird because as far as I remember, when typing Google in the App Store, the only result was Google Installer.

Unfortunately I could not see those apps in Mi Store before installing the Google Framework, Services, Sync and Play Store.
But now I can see a lot more apps (Google Translate, AirBnb, ...)
It is weird I have 2 possible results to display.
anyone has else issue setting up card for instore payment with google pay?
miui 10.3.11
Can't complete set up for contactless payment
To resolve this, you'll need to contact your bank. You can still pay with this card on Google and across other apps and sites, just like before.
i have no issue with setting up these cards on another phone though...

I had the problem too and I tried all your steps but none worked. I found a guide on google which actually works. It's here http://en.miui.com/thread-4843639-1-1.html
Basically it says to turn off the MIUI Optimization and get an app from the Play Store called "App Permission Info" to bring back the AOSP style permission UI and set the permission for Contact and ContactSync app from there since MIUI permission doesn't work well on this particular case.
Edit: I just found a way to access AOSP style permission without additional app on MIUI 10. Just search "optimization" in the settings and click on "Battery Optimization". You have to open it from the search list otherwise it won't open the AOSP style app info.
in my quest to install google play i did something wrong.
In notification i get a warning: "Update Google Play services - Google play services wont run unless you update..." but when i press on the notification, google play opens, with Play services and the only option is "Deactivate".
Can anyone point out a solution?
if we already get the google play store, does it mean we don't need to finish downloading the remain apps from google installer? i stuck at google play service. Pls to reply. thanks
Hi,
I used "Ok Google" detection perfectly with another assistant app (Greenify, needs it for long press home button action).
But then the home screen calendar notifications got stuck and I had to reset Google App.
Since then it doesn't work anymore.
I can setup Google assistant perfectly, "Ok Google" detection works and all.
But when I set Greenify as default assistant it Google assistant starts misbehaving.
First it does not work at all anymore. I can select only "Basic voice recognition" the option for "Google" is greyed out.
Then when I change back to Google assistant as default and back again to Greenify. Suddenly "Ok Google" detection works.
Still it's basic recognition and Google is greyed out. Problem is now the assistant activates multiple times (I get the activation sound) and basically just a transparent overlay opens but nothing more happens.
I have no idea how to fix this. I feel I tried everything up until now. Especially everything you find on multiple guides on google pages.
I wouldn't mind if it didn't work before, so I know it definitely should work!
@DarsVaeda
Prevent Greenify to send Google Assistant to sleep ( put it into Doze mode ).

Thanks, but unfortunately that's exempted already.
I managed to get it back.
I uninstalled all updates to the Google app.
Then disabled and force stopped it.
Restarted.
Then I choose Greenify as assistant. No voice was available.
Then I reactivated Google app. Now it was available as voice.
Then I updated the app and restarted.
It now is back as assistant but Greenify still has the home button.
Stupid it has to be this complicated!
