I checked the other speaker questions but didn't really satisfy me.
As you can see with our Z Ultras the earphone and speakerphones look to be the same (symetrical). It reminded me of the HTC One which has the best front forward speakers when watching a movie, and also have symmetrical speakers.
Is there a way we can boost the left earphone to match the right when watching a movie like the HTC One speakers? I am hoping it's not a limitation of the hardware earphone because if we could boost the left speaker to match the right it would be awesome!
Anyone know anything about it?
Thanks!
Getting audio from anything other than the person on the other end of the call is not possible. I'm also pretty sure the earpiece speaker would break if you pumped the volume up that high (the conference option while in a call will activate the "big" speaker, i.e the speaker at the bottom).
- Mono = 1 (Ultra)
- Stereo = 2 (HTC One)

Dude, they are not symmetrical at all. You're confusing the speaker with the microphone. The loudspeaker is at the bottom side, near the corner. Try playing some audio and cover it with your finger and you'll hear difference.

D'oh! I didn't realize that wasn't the speaker. I think the next Ultra should follow what the HTC one did because it would be perfect!
Thanks for the clarification, unk_damnation!

I realized now that i failed in my previous post. I though you asked if it was possible to use the second - in-call ear-piece, as a regular speaker I'm a little slow today.
Hey all, so my Samsung headphones that came with my s3 got eaten, so im borrowing a friends s4 headphones. What I realized is that the left ear bud doesn't seem to fit as well as the right, and the left one doesn't have nearly as much bass as the right one does. I'm using viper4android audio mod (like DSP manager) so theres a lot of bass. It's just the left one cuts almost all the bass out. Maybe it's by design since the left ear is better for listening to speech? When theyre in the correct ears, you don't notice it sounding odd. However, if your sharing headphones with someone, one persons gonna get the full effect while the other is missing out. Is anyone else experiencing this with their gs4 headphones?
Whenever listening to songs on my grand 2 voice clearty is poor but after removing the back battery case cover you can feel the difference in clearity of sound because grand 2 has 2 part of speaker but back cover has only one way for output which cause poor audio quality guys is this any solution or what is use of only one way of speaker output ?
Hi, is there a way to enable the ear piece speaker with the main speaker to have a little stereo sound to our galaxy mega 6.3 like the note series and the galaxy S5? Any help would be great
I'm thinking about getting a Moto Edge+ and I'm deaf in one ear so I wonder if anyone can tell me if there is a mono audio setting on the Edge+? Thank you.
