Can't Access Android Inrternal Storage? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a Sony Xperia Z2 running Android 6.0.1 stock, unlocked bootloader, and custom kernel(abricot), with TWRP. Everything was fine until I encountered a problem with transferring files from PC to phone over USB. I booted into TWRP and ran the 'Fix Contexts' option. That fixed the copying problem. But now I cant seem to access my internal storage via ES File Explorer (or the default one). I can view all my pics on internal storage via gallery. While checking, I found out that /storage/emulated/0 isn't mounted. So I used the terminal in TWRP to mount it. But that didn't fix it either(the directory disappears after a reboot). I also tried to install a script I found on XDA that claimed to fix this problem with no luck. I am still able to access internal storage via TWRP File Manager and over USB(MTP). My last resort would be to do a clean install. What could be the cause of this problem? Is there a way I can fix it?

[Q] How to access the internal memory via ADB?

I'm accessing via fastboot and need to access my files that were on the internal memory.
When I access the folder /mnt/sdcard, it is empty.
How do I access the files that are in the internal memory by ADB?
/mnt/emmc
or
/sdcard-ext/
Thanks, but the folder "/sdcard-ext" is empty and "/mnt/EMMC" does not exist.
Yeah because you said in PM me that you are not able to turn on the phone, and in fastboot mode it doesnt mount the partitions :/
This was the "other" problem, yesterday. I said here just to record on the forum. I accessed the files, but the internal memory was not mounted.
Yesterday the app "Rom Toolbox" gave a soft-brick corrupting the framework-res.apk when I used the menu to change the battery icon (do not do it on your Atrix!). But luckily the ADB was activated and could restore it and everything returned to normal.
Today the "Rom Toolbox" did **** again, but unfortunately the USB Debugging is off. Now I'm desperately searching for a way to restore the framework-res.apk without losing my installation and without unlocking my bootloader.

[Q] Connect mass storage via CWM recovery

I've recently flashed my phone with Nemesis kernel using Flashtool, and installed "MoonBreaker 3.5". Unfortunately it is horribly, horribly broken so I have tried to do a full wipe and reinstall. This also failed to work, and somehow wiped my internal storage, so now I have no kernels or roms available on this phone.
The phone boots, but the market doesn't work, downloads app doesn't work, there is no file explorer and no network connection. The phone will not mount as usb storage when booted, or when in CWM recovery. When booted it gives me an "MTP USB Device - Failed" message after attempting to install drivers (win7 and winxp). When in CWM it does nothing at all.
Therefore my question is, how on earth do I get files onto my phone now?

What model of phone do you have? I had the same problem with the Sola (I insanely forgot copy .zip on sdcard before flashing bootloader) and i solved copying the archive on external SD then with CWM selecting Install zip from external sd. Of course this method is not valid if you have Xperia U. In this case or in another case where you haven't any external SD slot try reading this guide.
I have an Xperia P, sorry the forum denied my edit for some reason. Thanks for your ideas!
I've had some success booting into fastboot then, while it's connected, switching to flash mode. Stock kernel reinstalled! Thanks for your help!!

[Q] Samsung Galaxy S3 - bootloop - recover photos

I have problem with my Samsung, I've bee using it for some time with CM 11 - currentlly there is latest snapshot installed.
Anyway phone started showing some issues few days ago - but today it is just stuck on the boot.
I can get either into download mode and ClockWorkMod Recovery, but can't get ADB to connect to pull files I need.
I didn't also find my photos in CWM backup files (although I cannot extract all of them).
In CWM I can mount USB Storage - but this is external card, where there are no photos. They are in /sdcard/0/, but I can't force it to mount this as USB Storage.
What can I do? Any help and hints appreciated.
@Delwing: you can try to replace CWM by TWRP and access sdcard0 by its built-in filemanager. But probably your system or partitions are gone, then it won't work either.
When I go to install zip in CWM I can browse the directories I need, so I will give it a shot. Thanks for suggestion.
Although copying files to sd card throguh TWRP didn't work at least I see device in adb console, so now I am copying files to my computer
Thanks a lot!
@Delwing: you're welcome - you figured it out by yourself

AML-MX REF root

hello
i have an AML-MX REF tablet
the internal storage was full when trying to capture from camera, and after capturing the device rebooted and now i can't access to the internal storage (it shows that the internal storage capacity is 0 kb, i can't install apps nor capture with camera) neither from the file manager app came with the tablet nor with AndroidCommander in PC, in AC (AndroidCommander) i can just see the system folder.
i want to save the picture folders.
i tried to root the device so as i can install twrp ot clockworkmod app so as i can install the recovery system (i think the mount option in the recovery can help) but i couldn't get root access, i used Kingoroot to root, the pc application shows that it is rooted, but in the AC i can't make root commands (like installing system app).
so, what can i do now?
i don't want to factory reset the phone and then use the recovery app to get the pictures now, instead i couldn't find any other way to solve the problem.

SD-Card access on Samsung J320FN with Lineage OS 14.1

I have just installed Lineage OS 14.1 on my SM-J320FN phone.
Most things seem to be working okay, but my biggest problem is with SD-Card access.
When I use the LineageOS file manager (Files), I get the message "Can't load content at the moment" when I select "extSdCard" from the menu.
I also use, File Manager by ASUSTek, this reads the sd-card without any problem, but if I try to copy, delete, rename, etc., any files the app just closes.
I have the latest version of TWRP installed on the phone and the file manager in there sees the sd-card fine and will read/write to it.
I have rooted the phone with Magisk and set Superuser Access to Apps and ADB.
Is there a way I can get the file manager apps to work?
Also, I don't know if this is related, but when I connect the phone to my PC via USB, all I get from the phone is an empty folder called "SM-J320FN".
Previously, I could see both the internal storage and the SD-Card, and all the files.
