There is any way to change ONLY the Status Bar Font? Precisely I'm refer to Clock and Battery Percentage Font.
Solved
For who is interested, after many tests, I identified the interested fonts:
The clock font is RobotoCondensed-Bold.ttf
and the battery percentage font is Roboto-Medium.ttf
Obviously both fonts are located in /system/fonts.
Unlucky, replace them with other fonts, affects some UI elements, but imho, this is better than indiscriminately replace all system fonts.
With the aim to minimize the impact, and at the same time to replace those ugly font, I choosed to use
RobotoCondensed-Light.ttf for the clock and
Roboto-Light.ttf for the battery percentage.
This is the result:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",

"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
So I made two flashable zips: one for replace them (Fonts.zip) and one for back to stock fonts (FontsBackup.zip).
If you want, you can replace my choices with the fonts which you prefer and rename them as RobotoCondensed-Bold.ttf and Roboto-Medium.ttf respectively for clock and battery percentage and put them in the /system/fonts directory inside the Fonts.zip archive.
No issues with SafetyNet with Magisk. Tested in Nexus 5 running Screw'd ROM 3.1.2

This zip file is very old, probably doesn't work anymore on newer Android version. I think I made it on Marshmallow era.
I suggest you to use a magisk module or a substratum theme.

Is there a way you can replace the gingerbread like notification bar with the one that comes with the stock Vibrant?
I'm hoping that there's a way of making it larger, because it feels like the icons are a bit tight up there. I can't really read the battery percentage because the numbers are a little small.
Any ideas how we could change that as well?

made this for myself but you can use it. This makes the numbers larger and eaiser to see but it also makes a few other changes. This changes the GPS icon, the vibrate icon/silent icon, and the it puts back the 3g icon instead of the H

This does not change the pull down notification bar!!
I would like to see this, all the themes out there are various colors of the gingerbread icons...
Gunner this looks great. How do I instal this?
Got it, thanks
What if we just took the framework from a touchwiz rom and replaced the icons?

Just install the KA5 modem and the status bar will change to the default.
Example:

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",

I would really like to have a transparent status bar. I know theirs currently a theme with what looks to be a transparent bar. However it also have a bunch of other things I don't like/want.
Am I really the only person interested in a transparent status bar?
No.
Never live in the past but always learn from it.
that's pretty cool but what about apps that were developed to accommodate the bar? Out were you thinking just on the home page?
OMG! I have an Atrix! [XDA app]

The bar still exists, it's just not visible. It's pretty much the same concept as changing the color of the bar.
I'm also interested. The status bar that I have using 7launcher is clear, so it shouldn't be that difficult
I'm also interested I like this clean look...
You need to enable transparency in the services.jar file, then in the framework-res.apk edit your statusbar and status_bar png files to the transparency level you like.
HERE is a link to my services.jar for 4.1.52 with GingerBlur 7.7. It might work on other pseudoROMs or other bases but I have not tested it.
Open your framework-res.apk file with WinRAR and drag the attached graphic into the folder \res\drawable-hdpi. Push it back to the handset via adb along with the services.jar file linked above and you should have a fully transparent statusbar.
*Since attaching a completely transparent graphic doesn't work to well I also attached the png file inside a zip archive
If someone can post the framework-res.apk and services.jar i can take a crack at this.
One more question, how would I go on opening the .dex file inside services.jar?
Hi everyone I have a bug in a theme that I am porting, I can't find that png, looking for it 2days now with no succes.

You are looking for "panel_background.9.png" in "/drawable-mdpi/" folder. This is the ".9" .png, these .png(s) are hard to modify. They will get blurred or stretched like that if you modify them like normal .png(s). You have to leave metadata intact (and NOT add additional metadata), attributes have to stay as "A".

I tried changing it to a stock one but it had same effect
but I didn't get the "You have to leave metadata intact (and NOT add additional metadata), attributes have to stay as "A"." part

The file must be *untouched* in order to remove the blurred blob bug. In other words, you need the original file there from a theme that does not have this bug or from the stock Samsung theme. If you don't know what image metadata and attributes are then I'm afraid I can't help you, just use the original png.

I tried with original one from the theme (untouched) and the stock one but it is the same I found out that the panel_background changed other backgrounds but not that one.

Hey everyone! So again thanks to Android 6.0.1 we're stuck with the ugly gap between the mobile signal and the battery.
There is a fix thanks to @istux which was great, but it no longer works in 6.0.1
But don't fear! I have a new fix which is even easier than before!
Installation Instructions:
Download the flashable .zip from HERE
Go into recovery and install zip
Enjoy!
If you like to do things manually, you can do the following:
Decompile SystemUI.apk
Go to res/values/ and open the dimens.xml file
Find the below lines:
Code:
<dimen name="signal_cluster_battery_padding">7.0dip</dimen>
<dimen name="no_signal_cluster_battery_padding">3.0dip</dimen>
Replace their values with "0.0dip" (or whatever gap you prefer to use)
Recompile
Enjoy!
Anyone is free to use this fix in their ROMs, just make sure to give me proper credit for the fix!
Cheers!

Working perfectly, thanks!
Is there any way to get rid of that ugly signal icons that Sony made and put the AOPS one's instead?
Nice work
This completely Breaks my navbar and Statusbar. They both become red with ugly badly resized Status bar Icons. Input fields like the Unlock Code are hidden by an white Layer. Z3c MM .575
Did you do the mod or just just the zip? I tested both and the navbar shouldn't be affected at all or change the icon size.
Con you confirm the rom you are using and upload your systemui.apk for me to take a look?
Be careful: Only tested by myself in original 23.5.A.1.291 FTF (Android Marshmallow 6.0.1)
This MOD includes:
-Add new Calculator icon to Navigation Bar (shortcut)-Add new Music icon to Navigation Bar (shortcut). Allows to choose which app start-Move Status Bar clock to the left side

Steps for installing:
0.-BACKUP YOUR SYSTEM + DATA (IMPORTANT: just in case...)
1.-Copy attached SystemUI.apk to /system/
2.-Set -rw-r--r-- (0644) permissions IMPORTANT
3.-Move that file to /system/priv-app/SystemUI/ and replace the old one
4.-Reboot
If there is anyone interested, I can publish a little tutorial about how to do it and/or publish a Git repo with commits over the original SystemUI APK source
I would like to take the opportunity to announce two of my apps published in the Google Play Store
Pixel OFF Battery Saver (actually works on LED displays, so has nothing to do with Z3C)

Disable Application (Lets disable any app with just ONE click and place widgets to quickly toggle enabled status of any app)

Maybe its not working because you are using the Sony stock calculator. I installed (replaced the stock one) the cyanogenmod calculator and it works
