mt6582 stuck at boot screen after flashing stock rom - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Dear friends i was facing some problems with my karbonn titanium s29 elite so i flashed stock ROM using sp flash tools, even after successfully flashing phone is stuck at boot logo, I'm able to enter in recovery mode so i wiped cache partition and user data but it didn't work. i tried firmware upgrade + download and format + download in sp flash tools, successfully flashed stock ROM using both method but problem is same. i downloaded ROM from different sources to make it sure that it is not a ROM fault. Now my only hope is XDA so please help me and give me your precious time and knowledge to save my device. it is a mediatek mt6582 device.

[Q] Lenovo A660 ROM problem and hangng

Hi guys!
I'm having a problem with this phone.
Was trying to flash a ROM from cybermaus.
I've rooted the phone with MTKDroid Tools. It was fine, after that i had problems with running FlashTools to run a ROM.
So i tried many methods to ad new ROM, and suddenly my phone, when started up - shows only chinese lenovo logo...
As far as android's Recovery Mode doesn't support "unsigned" ROMs, I've downloaded a "stock_121122_backup.zip" ROM, but unfortunatelly I get a sign verification error :/
ClockworkMod doesn't support this device, so no chance to run a different ROM. Also wiping data and factory restoration doesn't give any progress...
What can I do now? I have a backup made with Droid before Rooting it, but it didn't do a thing.
Is there any way to run "unsigned" ROM from Android's recovery mode??
Please help - after two days of tough fight i'm ready to cry
When trying to use SP Flash to download backup made by Droid i get this:
SP Flash Error (8038)
what is wrong??

Help Help MT6589 (SymphonyW125)

Hello everyone,
After follow a tutorial I successfully rooted my Symphonyw125 (MT6589 ARMv7) but I lost my recovery option. That tutorial do that by using TWRP recovery and MobileUncle. I have done same and then my recovery option is totally gone. Phone is working fine. I tried to factory reset, it's reset all but nothing done with recovery option. It remain same.
In hard mode, by pressing power+volume up boot image comes on the screen then reboot again into normal mode. I also tried by using ADB, Replace recovery by SP flash, Factory Reset , all was worked without error. But Recovery/Bootloader Mode isn't fixed yet.
I don't know what to do next... .. any suggestion
Solve But Want to install Cstom ROM
My recovery problem is solved by following this http://www.technoinfos.com/how-to-solve-symphony-w125-recover-problem/ instructions. Only this recovery works with symphony w125 till now. But now I want to install custom ROM. I've tried several Jelly Bean ROM which is for Gionee gn708w. My phone "Symphony W125" is same as Gionee gn708w. After installation its alwayes stuck on bootimage.
I also tried http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2247786 this. But on step 4 (Restore His Backup File With CWM) I've failed to restore. My CWM version is 5.05 does not read .dup file. He may be used CWM 6+ Version to made this backup. If it was .img file, can easily restore by CWM 5.05.
I also can't install ROM by following http://androidjugaad.com/showthread.php?tid=1313 method. I dont have windows, I am a linux user and SP Flashtool only works on windows.
So, If anyone have JB 4.2 which's boot.img is work on Symphony W125 or knows other method that work on this phone please share.
Thanks

Without the stock rom, it is so risky to test custom roms, almost impossible.
But if you can flash TWRP or CWM, you can backup your stock rom to restore everytime you fail.
I suggest you to find the custom recovery first.
Use this Mobile Uncle Tools (MTK tools) to flash custom recovery, the most easy way to flash recovery for MTK devices. If you want to know how to use it, go to www.kokoandroid.weebly.com and follow the step 2,3 and 5.
Good Luck in porting rom. :fingers-crossed:

I need a custom or stock rom for my mt6572 phone. (Viwa Max)

I was trying to install a custom rom on my phone . I made a backup of my system using the phones recovery mode. After that i tried installing the rom, but i was told that i can only install the rom with clock work Mode (CWM) installed on my device. So i installed the CWM and went ahead to install the rom. As it turned out the rom was not compartible with my phone so the phone started bool looping (freezing at manufacture logo). Sensing danger i went back to restore my old operating system using the backup i made earleir only to realize that i couldnt install it. That was because i made the made the backup using the recovery mode of the stock rom and as such CWM could use that backup. Now am stuck with a soft bricked phone.
I have a few choices.
1. Get CWM out of the phone and use the recovery mode of the stock rom to restore my system.
2. Install a compartible custom rom on my phone and take off from there.
Can anyone help me out with a way that i can get back to the recovery mode of my stock rom or better still how to remove clock work mode from the phone.
Or alternatively a custom rom that will work with my phone. Am using a mediatek device and after searching for some time i have realised that there are very few roms out there that actually work with mediatek devices. If anyone can suggest one for me, i would be very grateful.
PHONE:
Mediatek 6572
Viwa max running on android 4.2.2
I have tried flashing back the stock recovery using a scater file and Sp flash tools, but it stucks at download section for a long time without starting. If i could get a working custom Rom i would be very happy. Thanks in advance.

do you have a stock rom for this device?

[Q] Lenovo s820 stuck at boot animation after flashing rom

Hello!
I had problems with my lenovo s820 network signal so I tried to flash different roms. My phone is CN version, I downloaded firstly older rom, but network coverage was bad again so I flashed kitkat from needrom.
It was working fine but problems with network still persisted so I tried to flash the backup of the rom that came with the phone. It was working before, but now I am stuck in animation logo and phone stays there, no restart no nothing.
I downloaded the rom through SP Flashtools Download (DA DL Checksums).
Little help will be much appreciated. Thank you!
The original rom that came with the phone was 1.0 1427 ( I think). I made a full backup of it through sp flash tools and after that droid tools (like the guide here in the forum). After that I flashed vibe 2.0 latest from needrom (I flashed it through CWM and it worked great). Since I couldn't root it I tried to flash back my older rom (that came with the phone). I did it with 3.13 with DA DL Checksums. After that when it didnt work I tried same with latest flashtools (5.13).
Someone suggested that I make factory/data reset and wipe cache but problem is I have no recovery on the phone (it enters factory mode). WHen I try to flash recovery with the scatter inside the recovery it says error 8038 (also for another roms). Do you think this is the solution of the problem and is it possible that I use the scatter file from my backup of the initial rom (untick all except recovery) and select the recovery image to install?).
I am afraid that I replace something and make things even wors.
Edit: The backup is working since I already did 2 flashes from it before.
Best Wishes!
