Hi all and sorry if this argument eventually has been already discuss!
I have already tried some cases for my TyTN, but the bundle case is perfect for my needs! But on many forums I readed many opinions... some users regret that It is the really problem for the screen alignment issue...
I dont know what to do... can I use it without worry... or it's better that I dont use it???
is there anyone that use it with satisfaction?
Thanks!
Stefano
I have had occasion to have the magnet in the case rotate my screen, but that did not misalign the screen in any way. If you are buying a new case don't let this be your only reason. As far as I can tell this does no harm to the phone or screen.
Thank you very much for your reply! I've heard about occasionally screen rotation, but this fact isnt a problem for me.
Until now, I never had the screen alignment issue (and I hope neither in the next future!!!)... On many forums I have readed a lot of theory on this problem, and I would like to be safe that the bundle case doesnt create further issue.
Thank you for your experience!
Stefano
Hi, I only used the bundle case for about 10 minutes total, and have had no alignment issues with my serial 630 unit, been using it tons for about a month now.
I really didn't like how strong those magnets were and it constantly bothered me, not tryin to say that the magnets are bad, or tell you to get a different case...but if it can effect rotation, and I haven't had an alignment issue.....it kinda makes me wonder if it is causing some problems for people, I really can't say for sure, just thought I would share my info.
Thank you for your reply.
I understand your point of view!
The magnets are surely many strenght... indeed the screen rotation of TyTN is commanded from a magnet... so the magnets of the bundle case are so strength to create a false output...
However I have heard from HTC throughts email... and they are told me that the problem is hardware... so I think that the problem has been the magnet case... they have already advise us... (I dont think that they really wont to change or repair a lot of device if it is possible to have a simply solution: dont using the case!).
What do you think about this? Is there other experience with the boundle case? Any idea?
I'm also sorry to cant use a good case that I have already pay eheheheh
Thanks!
Stefano
I have screen alignemnt issue, and I have NEVER used the magnet case, so I can say the issue is not related to the case.
The hardware they referred to is internal TyTN hardware and not case related would be my guess. Those persons with the screen alignment problem that are outside of the return period are getting the devices fixed without having the case replaced.
Cool...I was hoping some people would say they had alignnent issues and hadn't used the case, I really couldn't say for sure.
I did end up having to cut the top bar out of my aluminum case, cause it caused the screen to flicker at times, and that combined with the screen rotating just made me wonder what all issues could happen with certain cases.
Its a good thing that the case can be ruled out of the cause for alignment issues.
Thank you pof and thanks to all... It's a good thing to know that the issue was occurring also without utilization the bundle case (sorry pof, I wouldnt like to say that I'm glad for your SA problem, conversely I'm sorry for your issue and I hope that you can solve... so like all people have this device with the SA!).
Also, if HTC dont replace the bundle case when a device presents the SA problem is another information that could rule out doubts related the case...
What do you think?

Screen Rotation causes missed calls
I have been having an ongoing problem with answering incoming calls... It seems that whenever I remove the phone from the case, the screen is rotated. As the screen is rotating back, the TyTN seems to drop the call.. too much CPU in rotating the screen? Anyway, I never thought it was the magnet in the OEM case (which is a great case, otherwise). I will try another case to see if the call answering problem goes away. Thanks!
I dont know if your issue with the incoming call is related with the screen rotation, but I can tell that the screen rotation seems has been only when yhou put the TyTN power-on in the case... or if you touch the power button when you eztracting the device from the case. I dont think that the device stay with the screen rotate when the power i s off. But I cant really sure... only I suppose...
Ciao

Is there anyone that he would like to tell us the own experience with TyTN, the bundle case and the possibile appears of SA issue... for understand the possibile correspondence with bundle case and the alignment problems?
Thanks
Stefano

One quick fix for this problem :-
Sharp blade on the four edges of the case removes four very powerfull magnets and two washers ?
Re glue corners with superglue and attach small piece of velcro to keep flap closed.
Worked for me and no screen rotating issues with this case
I bought an IDS case from Hong Kong ($ 25) and I am not impressed with the quality. Good ideas but badly executed. So now I am back to the HTC magnetic job. I don't have any SA problems but I do notice that the magnetic force causes screen rotation. I have also experienced call dropping on removing the TyTN from the OE case.
But I am sure HTC are aware of the magnetic influence and find it quite acceptable.

Mistakingly answering calls
Strangly, the strong magnet in the bundled case causes the phone to answer calls during sliding it out.
This is somehow a reason for why I am searching now for a Bluetooth headset that has a caller ID mini LCD.
I searched through xda but didn't see anything regarding privacy screen for the x10. I bought one on amazon couple weeks ago, turned out it was too thick to sense any touch. I was just wondering if anyone using a privacy screen?
Yes sir, I am, and I havent had any touch problems. I love the way it feels, its not glossy and just gives my white x10i a nice look.
I got it from this ebay store: http://stores.ebay.ca/Accessory-Export?_trksid=p4340.l2563
It was like 8 bucks
Thanks freddy. I bought the same one when they had it on amazon. Do you know if your phone still has that Stock screen protector? I wonder if that makes the difference. I couldn't swipe or press anything
i've been trying to get one as well. any idea where i can get one?
Honestly, I havent a clue. The one that came in the box, I took it off and put it on, then I took it off then put this one on. I havent removed anything else.
i tried before
I work in a accesory store... we have that screen protectors, they look so nice... I haven't tried with my x10 because I used that screen protector with my omnia... (resistive) and i had to press hard... so after 3 o 4 months I had to buy another touch panel for my omnia... X I've changed myself... now it works so good... so... I haven't tried with the X10 because i think that de capacitive touch could get worst.... anybody can take me out of my mistake??
i had one and it just became a annoying cause my screen did not like it
I tried to use one on my beloed X10
but the thing is, it makes the screen sooooooo dim and i have to set the brightness at FULL! and the battery drains like hell!
back to the transparent screen protector!
Screen Filter
I don't know if this has been suggested before here but i have tried it and it works for me.

I ordered another privacy screen from a different company and I will let you guys know how it is!
privacy screen reducing the touch screen sensitivity
Who can give a recommendation?
i want to buy a good one who fits on the Display, and works fine.
Hello,
I have a Samsung Galaxy s3 and just received a Hoco flip case for it.
When I close the flap the screen light turns on.
I had the same case but it is older but it does not do it with the older case just the newer one.
Is there a way I can disable the button to prevent this happening.
Cheers Shane

I found a reply here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=42617178 that will fix this issue.
Thought I would reply to help anyone else who is having this issue.
Hello,
I bought the 'created N7',
a 7 inch phablet that is like the ulefone u7/tronsmart ps7/luftco a onex/orientphone mega pro 7 etc..., and is sold by the factory with 4.4.2 installed
I found a bug in this product
The bug is about the bad working of the s-view window.
I link here a video where is possible to see how it should work:
http://youtu.be/lk1P9jziw64
The problem is that with the created N7 it is not possible to answer
to the calls without opening the flip cover:
when the N7 receive a call, the s-view window is not sensitive, so it
is not possible to answer
The sview with cover closed is sensitive only for a few seconds after the cover has ben closed, specifically only before the sview goes in standby (black screen)...after the standby, wakening the phone by a call or simply pressing the power button (without opening the cover) the sview seems not sensitive
These are two videos that shows the problem:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EG6D...e_gdata_player
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-By6...e_gdata_player
This should be fixed, because is an important feature that is missing:
the phones like N7 of other brands (like ulefone u7/u69, luftco a-one
x, tronsmart ps7, orientphone mega pro 7) instead have a fully
functional s-view window
I already informed some created online sellers (kent wang, peter
yang... ) about this bug,
they told me that they will contact the engineer... but i have
not answer yet...i think they are not able to solve this problemi...
A seller told me that they send the leather case for free,
Its a gift , so i cannot ask them to fix this problem
Can someone help me to fix this problem?
I tried installing firmware of other device (luftco a onex 4.4.2)
But nothing has changed ...(and by the way i found that the luftco firmware
does not fit with my n7...the camera does not work with it)
Any hint?
Any suggestion?
I did some tests i found that actually the sview is sensitive also after the standby, but not enought to feel the touches through the screen...
in the settings there is an option 'increase touch sensitivity to allow the control through sview screen',
seems that this high sensitivity status is not reactivated if the cover is not opened after the phone goes to standby...
How can i fix this problem? perhaps some fix on touch drivers is needed?
Please help me!
Thank you!
WHATS UP NEXUS BRETHREN!
I bike everywhere all day everyday. Biggest reason I picked up the M8(left my n5) was the front facing speakers. Not comfortable riding with headphones and preferred the "ghetto blaster". So happy to come back to nexus and the beautiful front facets. Now my problem is my old mount will not fit a n6.
Every option I've found has been the universal "note, ip6+, etc" ones that encompass the whole phone in a weather proof rubber zipable case. Defeats the music aspect of what I'm looking for.
Has anyone tried or seen a better option?
Try Slipgripcarmounts... i just checked the site and they have the Nexus 6 listed.! Im ordering mine as we speak... i have had 3 of them for my last 3 phones.. Never had a problem with them.
