LOGO leftover from previous ROM - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a LG G3 Stylus running lollipop. I played around with the GeneUX rom for a while. After a while I decided to try something else, so I downloaded CM 12. My phone has always booted up by first displaying a carrier/ brand logo and then a boot animation. I made sure to wipe everything except for my internal memory and sd card when I installed the new ROM. But even though I am currently running CM 12, my phone starts up by displaying a GeneUX5 logo and then whatever boot animation I decide to pick from "Boot Animation for SuperUSER". I need help in order to remove, change, or disable the logo thing left behind from the last rom.

Format after format....Mitty, Hspl.....STILL old rom remains!!

I Installed Hyperom using all proper procedure, but after a couple of day's couldn't get on with it, so downloaded a new Rom and went through the usual procedures of Task 29 etc....loaded new custom Rom......only looked 80% like it was suppposed too, even tried other Roms - same result.
Main this is that even after using a decent sdhc memory card formatter... ........I can do task 29, 50,000 times, soft resets, flash to standard rom, ...format again....bacically no matter what do, The first 5-10 seconds of the new Rom loading STILL displays the text from a previous Rom.
It's a black screen, comes up saying "Hyperrom".....about 10 seconds later, the new upgraded Rom loads up, but never looks or performs like it should.
I've made sure installing correct radios etc for whatever Rom I download, tried bootloader format, active sync format, left memory card out.....no matter what I try parts of the old Rom still remain.....frustrating.
Any Ideas?
Tried everything I can, used search funtion in orum etc......6-7 different Roms, all with correct Radios and installation procedures...still get black screen with "Hyperom" logo and black screen, new Rom loads and works, but only 80%......ARRGGHHHHHH
Weeks this been happening now.
please please please can somebody help me??
much appreciated
Matt
the first screen up to the animation is a splashscreen or bootscreen, and is not connected to the ROM, meaning unless you flash a stock rom, or a custom that includes one(like the one you hve stuck there) then it will remain.
you can flash bootscreens just like roms and radios,

SERIOUS BOOT ISSUES Cyanogenmod

Ok so i'm trying to figure out whats wrong.
I got my G- Tablet, got clockwork running with no issues, installed Cyanogen 7 build 38 (which was available at the time) and installed gapps.
Everything was running perfect.
Today I got an SD card in the mail for it and I popped it in, booted up, and now its stuck in the Cyanogen boot animation screen. I've rebooted several times, removed the sd all together (at the time it had nothing on it), loaded the latest build along with cyanogen 6 beta 4 etc and i'm always stuck at the boot animation.
I've done factory resets, and wiped cache, and even tried to wipe the Dalvik cache.
I'm at a total loss, does anyone know what I can do?
You know what I have found. with the CM7 boot. When I first installed it with no apps it would take 3 to 4 arrow passes around the android to get to the home screen about 4 seconds. But after I installed all my apps the time went up a lot. After about 30 passes I stopped counting and it takes several minutes to boot up.
worst comes to worst you can always use nvflash to go back to stock and start over again
Well....i thought that maybe that was the issue....that ill just let it loop its way to death and see what happens when i walk away for 5 minutes but I found the tablet turned itself off :-/
Hows this nvthing work?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=861950
that has a very good step by step guide on what needs to be done. Just an FYI that will put you on stock rom and I think the OTA update is down right now, so you might not be able to update to 3588 till OTA comes back up.
wow excellent, thank you so much for the info.
I will give this a try, and report back my findings
ok, so I tried this nvflash thing and it ran successfully. I let it reboot....and now instead of the cyanogen flash animation i get the g tablet animation loop.
For some reason this thing is getting stuck at the boot animations...is there something I can do within clockwork to format something...???
Wiping Cache and Data usually clears up looping at the animation for me. If that doesn't help then repartition.
SOLVED. Ok so I did some reading on the topic, it turns out that the tablet needs to have the sd card partitioned a certain way in order to get everything running again. The link at the bottom has all the information if your g tablet doesn't get past the splash screen and your stuck in a boot loop.

[Q] CWM Bootloop

I have a Samsung Fascinate and had Cyanogenmod 7.1.0 installed just fine. Last night I tried to install Cyanogenmod 7.2.0 and now my phone is stuck in a boot loop. The splash screens for Samsung and Cyanogenmod show up, then it goes to a CWM screen that prints a bunch of stuff but it disappears before I have a second to read it and it continually goes through this.
What I have tried:
Holding the different physical buttons. Most of these did nothing, however with the volume down button by itself a screen comes up saying downloading do not shut off target.... It does nothing and I have to remove the battery to get out of that.
Fix through Odin. This doesn't work because my phone just constantly tries to boot. I cannot get it to register on a PC because of this... I do however have a card reader if that helps; however this doesn't work with Odin.
Delete the original Cyanogenmod zip file for 7.2.0 and download a new copy, then transfer to my SD card. I though maybe if the original download was corrupt it would help to install a new copy, but this didn't help at all.
After searching the internet for hours now and trying everything I have seen I have decided to post this and see if anyone can help. I just need to get out of the bootloop I seem to be in :/
Well, your phone can't bootloop with the battery out, so I suggest you Odin back to stock using the instructions in Droidstyle's guide. From there, you can do any number of things.
Good luck.

Galaxy Tab A (SM-T350) won't boot after ODIN Flash

Recently, I flashed a TWRP and rooted my Tablet (Galaxy Tab A SM-T350). Yesterday, I made the mistake of installing crdroid (https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-a/development/rom-galaxy-tab-8-0-t3912517) and wiping the recommended partitions (In that post). After confirming that the custom ROM worked, I went back into TWRP to install the Google Apps and SuperSU. That's when I screwed up.
After installing those .zips I went back into crdroid, and the "Weather Pro" or something like that, which appeared to be the launcher, kept crashing.
Regretting my choices and wanting to go back to stock, I flashed this ROM with ODIN: https://androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=154234
That didn't seem to work, as when it booted into the setup, it would crash and reboot. I thought I had flashed the wrong version of Android on it, and downloaded this ROM: https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-tab-a/SM-T350/XAC/download/T350XXU1CQJ5/194035/
That also didn't seem to work, as the device would do the same thing. Boot to setup and crash. I tried to boot into ASR and wipe it from there, which is what landed me where I am now:
The device booted, went into setup and immediately shut down. The device does not boot at all, and when plugged in, simply shows the circle with the bolt inside, never showing the green circle and the battery percentage.
Quick FYI: I backed up everything with ADB to my PC way before this happened. Don't know if that will help.
What I mean: https://1drv.ms/v/s!AnXXk5PX0LXn3gd4nJiaPXYOKhFv
Anyone know where to begin in terms of resurrecting my tablet?
Thanks in advance
UPDATE: I don't know what happened, but the device is not charging. Still refuses to boot without crashing but I feel like this could help
Update 2: Ok so it turns out I was stupid and the battery was just dead (I thought it was charged after a night-long charging, but I guess not)
