yes, i am 99% sure that a similar fix will work because g4 has this exact fix .G4 , v10 has same SoC and exact same problem.Lg cheaped out on the soldering lol.The 2 big cores need to be disabled in the boot img.
I had a bootloop on my go flex 2 and it got resolved by changing to a new battery. It helped a couple of us out.
Check my thread:

Hello folks.
I've got a question about infrared blaster in our phones. There's a bunch of remote control programs in which You can teach Your phone new commands by sending them from f.e. TV Pilot. Question is - does G2 Mini hardware supports it? I mean it can work as a sender, but can it also receive? I tried it once but with no success, maybe i Was doing something wrong?

Hello, as far as I know our IR isn't compatible with Google's api. So we even can't use other applications than Quick Remote
Oh, I see. I heard QuickRemote from G2 have the „Learn” option, there's no such thing in G2 Mini? I haven't found it...

I see, LG G2 can control more device type. But G2 mini can control only 3 device type: TV, DVD & Blu-ray. And can not to learn anything. :crying:
Maybe there's a way to port QuickRemote from G2 into G2 Mini... I don't think those phones are so different on hardware side

I tried it with different remote apps for dslr camera. Thats a no-go

I have read in some forum, seems LG locked the code for this IR, so we can't use another apps. we can only use quick remote installed on the phone. I have read someone use ported quick remote ported from g2, but it can't work
Help!!! Backup of G2 mini's quick remote apk
I need your help.
Can someone backup the g2 mini's quick remote apk for me.
I need it because I removed it to install the g2 full version of it and as you know it isn't compatible but I didn't knew it.
Help me please.
Thanks for your attention.

Well, the only thing similiar is the "LG G2" and design. Those two phones are completely different devices and they are so different in fact they could be made by different manufacturers and brands. This is all from technical point of view, of course.
Yep. Smart IR Remote app dev told me that LG only opened the G3 IR blaster code and that is still only for using and not learning. I don't know why is this good for LG. They gain nothing by closing the code. I certainly won't buy another phone just for that.

It does not pass the image, which is seen on the screen. I already put another module of battery and remains the same. I do not know what is happening

See this thread here to get your technical answer: https://forum.xda-developers.com/att-lg-v10/help/h901-rom-h900-t3338402
So much for converting my AT&T LG V10 to a T-Mobile variant.
I was wondering if it would be at all possible to port the stock camera app from the H830 for use on AOSP roms, and if so, how would one go about doing so.

Any idea why? Is it a nougat thing? I saw where someone had made a port of the marshmallow version for the G4.

I forget exactly why. If you go into 1 of rom threads and they explain it. Maybe someone here that knows more then me could explain to him?

rootlinux is back with another one.
This is built using Aroma installer.
Easily switch between 3.1.1.0 H918 for stock based roms.
Easily switch to 3.0.2-1 to flash AOSP roms.
Test it out and see what you think.
First build is right here.

I use 3.0.2 for both. Is there a difference?
Will this work if I'm rooted on 10p?

Impossible, not enough people have your phone for anyone to develop flash & root.
Nobody has ever done it (besides kingroot, which you updated and it no longer works).
Lesson #1 if you want to root and modify any device, DONT UPDATE!
Lesson #2 If you really must have root on your phone save up and buy a LG V20, then when you post here, it will be on topic and in the appropriate place.
Or at least pick a device you know you can flash and root in advance.
End of story...

It happens, part of the learning experience. Now you know...
1. Make a list of a few devices that you would like.
2. Research here before buying anything, to see if it can be done.
3. Never update, newer updates can result in preventing exploits that you need to root/flash.
Is this only for h918? Or could we use it for LS997 also?
