40/50 C

50 is possible scale down the frequency you can monitoring it with different app i use "Simple System monitor"

here is the benchmark

Seems is not for temperature.. Have you "kernel adiutor"?

Yes

So?

Sorry im on vacation ^^
On cpu area settings what is the max frequency can you set?

Big 2150mhz Little 1593mhz

If you set max frequency to 2150 and the cpu go to 1270 is strange because The temperature is not hot
My frequency when The cpu is hot was 1400 The big core and 1090 The little
Is very strange.. Can you try to set the frequency to 1700 and monitoring if change

[Q] Random Reboots

Hello, I keep getting random reboots on my HTC Legend. I don't think the problem is related to the rom because I tried many of them and still the same problem. I've read that it may be related to the radio version but I don't know which version should I upgrade to
ROM: CyanogenMod 7.1.0
Baseband Version: 47.26.35.04U_7.05.35.26L
Did u OC's the CPU? Maybe your frequencies are too high?
Try with a lower one.
Thanks for the reply, yes, i did try lower the Frequencies but still have the same problem

What frequencies are you using?
have you tried to change governor?
Currently using 787 max. and 400 min. and the governor is set onDemand

It could also depend on the Kernel installed, but for a 600 MHz processor, 787mhz seems definitely too high for me. My friend has the same CPU in his ZTE Blade and he cannot OC more than 650mhz (obviously also depends on hardware).
What I suggest, is to OC's just a little above the normal value 600mhz (ex. 633/650mhz), and increase little by little the clock to find out at which freq. your phone start to experience spontaneous reboot.
I would also try the "smartass" governor with a min freq between 19/176 mhz.
Let me know.

Some devices (with 600mhz processors) can be overclocked to 864mhz (e.g. HTC Aria; but is overall stable at 806mhz).

I am agree. My Hero can be overclocked up to 749mhz (525mhz default) , but at this OC suffer from spontanious reboot. The max freq. I can reach is 710mhz without problems.
This is why I said it depends on devices and hardware.
Probably 787mhz is too much for his phone.

cpu sleeper+ setcpu

Just wondering if its a good idea to have both cpu sleeper and setcpu together ??

The issue arises if you have a customs Kernel as in T-mobile version for example
I am on Adama003 Kernel and it is overclocked to 1.8 G and if you use both set cpu and Sleeper it won't keep the lower values and it will kick up to 1.8 upon reboot even though you say set it at 1.5.

I have blazer Rom , sorry for the questions but I'm new at this root stuff so if I set my cpu to 1.8 ghz will that increase my download speed?

No it only increses your CPU clock speed...which has nothing to do with your data download speeds.

[Q] How can i improve scores in AnTuTu benchmark?

Ok I bought a GT-I9300 and after some months I thought about installing a custom rom.The cynanogen 10.1 rom installed perfectly ran a benchmark test and got 15568 after installing siyah custom kernel i started benchmarking at 1300 mhz,1500mhz and finally 1800 mhz.
The results were quite impressive but i want more the results i got were 18843 but i saw 20218 running at 1600 mhz and the resolution was 716x92 this got me thinking how did he manage that and it was android 4.1.2. By the way im running 4.2.2.
the results don't mean anything
it may be low because apps running background and actually you may get good score on 4.1.2 roms as there are many roms based on 4.1.2, so the developers do so much to improve perfomance.. so try without any app and if you search you may fina an thread which may help you to overclock to an whooping 2ghz
UPDATED
Ok i increased the voltage from 1400 mv to 1475 mv and got 19470 killed some background apps and overclocked my GPU to 700mhz max minimum 440 mhz to get a constant 700mhz i have to set them all at 700 mhz.And by the way a guy got 27312 HOW DID HE GET THAT??!!!
and another guy has 1080x1980 resolution on s3??? how? is there some kind of mod?

If you search across the web,you may find that there are some cheating cases with these benchmarks..

Why the obsession with particular scores? My S3, running codecrom 10.6.1 is silky smooth and tbh I have no idea what my benchmark scores are and don't care. Yes there are endless tweaks and settings that can be changed to massage your scores but they wont make your phone any better.

Exactly, I really don't get why people overclock their CPU/GPU to get higher scores. I mean what good does it do? I undervolted and underclocked my CPU to get a better battery-life and the device is still smooth as silk but also gives me better battery-life. It`s never really healthy to overclock your device.
Try to cool down your CPU.
Liquid nitorgen or helium can do the job.

I only use 2 cores on my sgs3 at 1ghz )))) that was a test on how high my phone could go i disable the other 2 cores because they drained battery life.

No sane person would be serious with that topic would they ???

"Look, these numbers must mean something!"
No, they don't. This benchmark is pointless. You can get better "using" results on lower numbers than on high ones. For example cpu governor. Pegasusq based on Perseus kernel will try to balance used cores based on system load to improve battery life and performance at the same time. Because of that you can get much less points but overall it'll still perform as good as locking 100% all cores, of course if you'll in fact need such power. What's the freaking point using 100% of CPU for simple 2d game for example if it needs only about 10%?

Clock speed of s2 not reach on its maximum

I just installed the cpu-z to see the processor information and i notice that the maximum clok speed of s2 is 1.20 ghz but it only reach maximum upto 800mhz the clok speed not reach it maximum at 1200mhz why? What is the problem explain i am in worrie.

Have you set any limits for the same?
What ROM, kernel, governor is in use?

Try other govenor. When using performance it will lock on max speed (eats battery).

No i do not set any limit the rom is 4.1.2-I9100XXLSJ, kernal 3.0.31-462349 and i also over clock with tegrak overclock to 1.40ghz but after overclocking it shows same 800mhz don't no what the problem is plz can anybody solve it.
Powersaving mode limits your CPU to 800mhz.

Overclock check

I have just bought an used LG as second phone. It runs Cyanogenmod 12.1 Lollipop 5.1.1. How can I know if the phone has been overclocked? The ex-owner isn't an expert so I wouldn't trust to keep the phone overclocked as long as it is.

First install the setcpu or similar cpu overclocking app. Look for cpu clock frequency or match to your highest original cpu frequency. Means If your device support to 1.8ghz and it sets to 2.0ghz then its overclocked.

Thanks. Indeed that's what I thought to do..install one of those apps and check. If it is overclocked how do I remove the overclock? Would a hard reset be enough?

No. No need to hard reset. Just set to your device default max frequency.

Thanks again! But if I do perform a hard reset then I can be sure 100% that a possible overclock is removed ? Sorry for my fussiness but I really care about this phone which is the same like one I had years ago and then got lost..
