Extracting TTS from Android - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi everyone,
I have had OnePlus 1, 2 and 3T. Now I have Nomus S30. So I have had Android from v4 to v7 and noticed this in everyone I had.
I am from Lithuania, but I don't like the menu translation on android, so I use English language all the time. I see that I can not choose Voice Output in Lithuanian language on TTS settings, because there is no such choice of Lithuanian TTS.
But here is something interesting I found...
When I set Android language to Lithuanian, the google maps starts to speak in Lithuanian....
I wonder is it possible to capture the "hidden" Lithuanian TTS files and copy it to the default folder where all other TTS are, so that I could choose this TTS straight from the menu? Just a thought...

Download new language packages for Google navigation

Hey.
I'm looking for new language packages to use with Google navigation. On stock Samsung rom we have Google's own voice and Samsung TTS. Google voice in spanish is just horrible, like a joke. Samsung TTS is way better, but still has trouble when speaking some street names and directions.
So I'm looking is its possible to download other voice alternatives to use with Google navigation. Does anyone know any and where can I find them? It's mainly for spanish language.
Thanks.

Google Text-to-Speech - "Speak" Option Missing

Using a Samsung S7 Edge for T-Mobile on Nougat 7.0 with Google Text-to-Speech version 3.11 is installed. Previously on the Samsung S5 there was an option to have Google TTS speak out loud any highlighted text via the "Speak" option - kindly note, I'm NOT referring to the highlight to speak option using Google Talkback but rather after highlighting text in say a browser, there usually are the following options: Copy, Share, Select All, Web Search, Translate, and Speak. Unfortunately, on the S7 Edge the "Speak" options isn't available after highlighting text.
I've tried the following to no avail:
1. Uninstalling and reinstalling the latest Google Text-to-Speech
2. Under Accessibility --> Text-to-Speech --> selected Google Text-to-Speech Engine with Language set as English and Default language shows that English is fully supported
3. In Settings under General Management --> Language and Input --> Speech --> Text-to-Speech (repeated the same process as above)
4. Restarting Phone
5. Clearing Phone Cache
6. Installing Google Talkback and turning on Highlight-to-Speak option - that's how I know it wasn't the same. Please note Talkback has since been uninstalled
If anyone has any suggestions on how to turn on or make the Speak option show up after selecting text it would be greatly appreciated!
Same problem here: ZTE Axon 7. Extremely difficult to find any information about this issue - it seems, not many people use it...

Ghost TTS on google maps

Hi everyone,
I have had OnePlus 1, 2 and 3T. Now I have Nomus S30. So I have had Android from v4 to v7 and noticed this in everyone I had.

How can I have English language in android by default everywhere with Lithuanian google maps voice-over/TTS ?
Nomu S30 I have with Android 6, Rooted. Maybe it is possible to capture the "hidden" Lithuanian TTS files and copy it to the default folder where all other TTS are, so that I could choose this TTS straight from the menu? Just a thought...
Any ideas fellows?
