Ok resuming: I deleted my OS so I restored the TWRP backup of Rommco05. It worked but it's the B130 which has problems so I would like to downgrade to B120 or upgrade to the last B130 which has no problems

Ok so I downloaded full ota update.zip of the latest B130 in Firmware Finder, I extracted the .zip and moved UPDATE.APP in dload folder in SD card. In pressed and hold Up volume+Dow volume+on/off key it installed to 5% and said "failed to install software, update package not exists"
So how can I install the update?

Then:
1. go to bootloader
2. run HWOTA script, this will flash TWRP (your phone must be unlocked)
3. go to TWRP (press POWER off + VOL up)
4. press enter and the script will continue, follow instructions
Note: you should have the 3 zip files with B120 firmware in HWOTA\update folder in your PC prior running script
Be aware that you will loose all your data, because of unlock procedure you'll likely run later on

Hello guys!
I am in need of some help. I wanted to get root access by installing twrp, and then instantly flash SuperSU, what I just did.
Flash went successful, I kept system read-only to get ota updates, but the phone got stuck on MI logo after reboot.
What should I do to get android up and running again, and not get stuck on MI logo or any kind of bootloop?
I'm on the latest China Dev rom right now. I can enter into TWRP and fastboot mode. Any kind of help is appreciated!
Thank you guys!

Not to worry,
What you need is make modded boot image for your ROM using "Android kitchen" its not that hard.
Please follow the first post and it has link for using it.
hxxp://en.miui.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=240531&extra=page%3D5&mobile=2
Replace xx with tt.
If you have fastboot ROM then its easy to get boot.IMG, if not then boot to twrp, go to backup and select boot only. Take backup to SD card or pen drive via otg.

I must have missed some initial steps at some point. I've tried to install TWRP using Mobileuncle Tools and SPFlash Tools without success.
When I try to start my phone into bootloader mode, I get a warning that the function is turned off for security.
What am I doing incorrectly?
Thanks in advance! I appreciate your good works!

I was on EMUI 9.0.0.190 (not sure if this was the exact one, it was the latest version as far as I know)and tried to downgrade to EMUI 8.0.0.171. Dunno the xloader version.
Also I borrowed my friend's DC Phoenix account and was following it's guide. Does anyone know which board this phone has so that I can download it's software.

If internal dload folder doesn't do it then dump them in dload folder on an SD card .. and normally the SD method only works with SD specific cust/preload zips
If you are looking for the Optus (C34) files I still might have a copy somewhere ?

Optus released 212 but I dloaded 198 2 weeks ago, GPay and everything works but I got CTS Fail, I tried using the file I have which installed but when I rebooted it gave me the small 198 update I got on Friday again, which I guess was my update instead of 212. Don't understand how optus had a smal 198 update to push. I was kind of hoping it might fix CTS Fail but it doesn't.
I don't know what is happening but erecovery now fails getting update package too. I would have thought it would point to 212.

I've got a feeling the erecovery image files are flashed to phone when an OTA or hisuite restore is performed ... Something I can test out over next few days to confirm as flashing erecovery secure kernel / ramdisk recovery doesn't require root access..
Or do you have an SD tagged image of 212 you can flash yourself and then flash the cust/preload C34 files so your firmware matches up with the oeminfo of phone.

I am trying to get back to stock everything. I have a UK model, STF-L09 C432 variant. This is day 3 of pain.
1. I've downloaded various versions of update.zip from https://pro-teammt.ru/en/online-firmware-database/?firmware_model=STF-L09C432&firmware_page=0. I make sure to go for the FULLOTA-MF versions so as to get the system partition.
2. I've extracted the following paritions using the huawei update extractor tool and flashed each:
System – fastboot flash system SYSTEM.IMG
Ramdisk – fastboot flash ramdisk RAMDISK.IMG
Kernel – fastboot flash kernel KERNEL.IMG
Recovery – fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk RECOVERY_RAMDIS.IMG
3. I try to boot to recovery with VOLUME UP + POWER. Bootloops into erecovery which only has an option to "Download latest version and recovery", Reboot or Shutdown
4. I try the download option. It connects to wifi successfully then says "getting package info failed".
5. I try to boot the phone normally and the same as step 3 happens, erecovery.
I notice the FULLOTA-MF has two files, update.zip and update_full_STF-L09_hw_eu.zip. Am I meant to be extracting something from there and flashing it too?
