Hi Guys. My HV10 was on on EMUI 9. I tried downgrading to EMUI 8 using HuRupdater but it won't boot now and is not responding to charger getting plugged in or out. I tried plugging it in on my pc and a dialog box opened saying "Configuring USB SER for use" then nothing. It's not showing up as adb and fastboot device. Kindly help.

You should be able to restore from a backup using Hisuite. There is a system recovery option also.

It's telling me to boot to fastboot which I'm unable too.
Update:- I think it's in testpoint mode. I don't exactly know what it is and how to exit it.

Check mate 10 and 20 forums there are guides to solve your problem.
Hisuite won't work as it's hard bricked.
Btw which emui 8 version build did you flash ?
What is its xloader version?
What build are you before using this method?

I was on EMUI 9.0.0.190 (not sure if this was the exact one, it was the latest version as far as I know)and tried to downgrade to EMUI 8.0.0.171. Dunno the xloader version.
Also I borrowed my friend's DC Phoenix account and was following it's guide. Does anyone know which board this phone has so that I can download it's software.

It's already coming as COM 1.0 in device manager. Trying to flash update.app (only fastboot part) but it shows no device detected to upgrade. Had downloaded a board software and clicked update button. I clicked update button and it detected the device but showed that I don't have enough credits.

I think I know his problem. When booting into recovery using the key combo (volume up +power) the screen just shows the phone and a usb cable, with mi.com/pcsuite written under it. Never goes into the recovery. I had this problem too, never found a solution. (now I'm on custom recovery, it works fine)

What about bootloader? Is that unlocked??
If yeah, you can fastboot the twrp and can remove the pattern or whatever the stuffs.

Did you even apply for unlocking permissions? No?
OK, are there any nearby mi service centre? If yeah, then visit em' and act like noob in front of em.
Just tell them forgot the code and blah blah, they'll fix it.
First, unlock the bootloader, then flash TWRP.
Watch this, one parent solved his problem with his phone following this video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N-1govqZXFo
i think flashing the stockrom will fix this issue
you have to use different usb cable (i forget the name , you can searching this on google)
or you can try some method to flashing xiaomi or other phone with locked bootloader
We need more information. What did you do to get to this state?
You must try to go back to stock.
Use the guide documented here: http://en.miui.com/a-234.html
For Step 2: The file you need to download is called like this: Redmi Note 4 Qualcomm Latest Global Stable Version Fastboot File Download
Once the download is complete, follow steps 3, 4, 5 and 6.
For Step 3 the combination is Volume Down + Power to get to Fastboot.
If the flashing guide could not help you, please download Mi PC Suite here
(After Mi PC Suite is installed, make sure that your phone is in fastboot mode [Step 3], connect your phone to a computer, and select the correct ROM file to flash, downloaded at [Step 2])

Hello, I have bricked my phone. After manually and successfully upgrade to EMUI 9 everything works fine but when I tried to uninstall Magisk and relock the bootloader something goes wrong and now I have a useless phone.
I Tried to flash a new ROM with DC Phoenix, the result is "device not supported"
DC Phoenix:
Looking for a device in force upgrade mode
No devices detected in force upgrade mode
Looking for a device in fastboot mode
Device found: GAB7N18305005133
08-10-2018 23:42:48 Starting to write device in FASTBOOT mode...
File to update: BLA-AL00B-BD_1.0.0.36_Board_Software_Android_8.0.0_EMUI_8.0.0_05022FPT.dgtks
Device found: GAB7N18305005133
Cannot get IMEI from device
Build number: :BLA-LGRP2-OVS 9.0.0.108(log)
Product model: BLA-L09
Device not supported
Now I would like to try with Huawei Update Extractor and flash via fastboot the necessary and appropriate images. However, I'm not sure what images I should flash. I understand that in EMUI 9.0 the partitions changed.
I will greatly appreciate your help.
I Forgot to mention that I have bootloader and FRP Unlocked.

Hi all,
Im in trouble with my phone beacuse im in demo mode, is there any option to full update.
Ps. I updated to 9.1, but cust rom and preloader are same (maybe cause bootloader is locked, frp unlocked).
I need your help, please!
I check my model I used hisuite method.
basic: 9.1.0.300
cust: 9.1.0.21
preload: 9.0.0.17
As you see preload stick in 9.0. I guess that is kind normal.
PS. You can check before you flash if using Hisuite.
If your model is supported by Hisuite nvm
1. If not,edit C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\HiSuite\userdata\UpdateDogDev\HiSuiteConfig.xml
by replacing either LYA-L09/LYA-L29 to your specific model and then use system repair function via fastboot.
2. Go check C:\Users\yourusername\Documents\HiSuite\ROM
you can see basic/cust/preload version officially supported if some still in 9.0 then It meant to be 9.0.
Good luck

You can turn off demo mode in developer option.
Download: Link
Steps:
1. Only works on EDL mode.
2. Run script 0-8475_update_image_EDL_fh_loader.bat
3. Update Official OTA package in recovery or install UserRAW in bootloader
Thanks ASUS Taiwan, @EdwardWu6688 , and don't use it for commercial purposes or earn money from this.
Does the bootloader version change with updates? What ROM is this bootloader compatible with? What bootloader version is used in the file?

Support 32.2004.2004.84
Big thanks for sharing!
Just a stupid newbie question:
Assuming the phone is dead (no recovery/fastboot) but start in edl mode (with edl cable). With this i can bring it back to live even if i flashed a totaly wrong firmware (wrong device for example)?
I want to start play around with custom recoverys/roms if they are available but before i want to know a way out of the worst case.
Im a newbie and I bricked my device
Does this support
Versión WW-32.2030.2030.26

After you install this unbrick fw, you will get back to 32.2004.2004.84 bootloader, so you most need install 32.2004.2004.84 user raw or adb sideload 32.2004.2004.84 fully OTA package.
Ok I'll try it once i get the edl cable. Thank you very much for replying

You should flash with RAW, Only if fail with rom then you can try EDL
Latest RAW -WW-AI2202-32.2030.2030.26-MR1-2208-M2.13.33.16-ASUS_1.1.1-user-20220816.zip

Get From ROMDevelopers : AI2202_Provision_and_Flash_device_SOP_CSC.pdf
Inside have full guide, including EDL Test point ( How to entry EDL ) Full Guide.
In the guide (AI2202_Provision_and_Flash_device_SOP_CSC.pdf) is only the testpoint method described. I thought an EDLCable does the same without disassembling the device?
The provision.bat initialize the filesystem and the update-image-edl.bat does the firmware flash. Is this right?
Thanks.
Test point mean EDL mode, Just Short two point and follow guide..!
You don't have to EDL cable...!

You can only install Service ROM using the dload method.
In addition, you tried to downgrade by installing a service ROM, which is highly discouraged!
If the computer recognizes the phone as USB SER, test point & board software must be used (or DC-phoenix ).
