ok, it all started with my gps stopping to work. i tried everything (roms, radios, resets) so i took it n to the store. they played with it for 1.5hrs. now i get a balloon @ the bottom of the screen that says "error code 11 ppp connect failed". then it pops up @ the top that says "dialed #777 password is wrong. bla bla". i have entered the username and pass. and it keeps saying it. i can use internet explorer but its just 1x. any ideas

i found this and it might just help you..good luck.
Its a hung data session.You have to shut your phone off and they need to reset ur phone at the switch level. Once they do that they'll make you dial *228 and it should work again.
I have had it happen a few times. If they search their info they have for a hung data session they should be able to figure out what they have to do... And they have to have someone do it for them most of the time i've had it done.. Like they call up a teir 2 person to do it or something.

Edit: if you can make and receive calls your A-key stuff is fine.. Back when it mattered with Verizon you would get a message saying that your phone could not be authenticated when you tried to make a call.
Also make sure your selected verizon as your carrier with No2Chems roms if you do that all the VZW data crap gets automatically set in the phone and it shouldn't ask you for a user and pass it should just do it

Their site is screwed up at the moment, you, me and a lot of others are getting the same thing. Once they decide to fix it, it'll be good to go again. I've been trying since 10am, only up till an hour ago did their site even load for me.

Yes, me too. I tried to unlock my friends One X but I also got the same error. HTC says that we need to give them 24-48 hours to resolve this error since their site had just been up after the maintenance. Lets just wait for it.

Alright, didn't know anyone got in touch with them about it. Looks like I'll try it again tomorrow night.
I did contact them since the error got up. They did reply after a few minutes and started the conversation then we they end up telling me to just wait for about a day or so to escalate the problem and resolve it.

Same i been trying all day Error Code: 173.
Error Reason: Check Rule Fail with exception.
They said they would look into it 24-48 hours from when they contacted the user yesterday morning. We're still a day away from that and most likely longer from a fix. Calm down. This has happened before and the fix came. Just be patient.

Yeah. Confirmed. It's now working for me.. Hehehe. I chatted with them and I really told them that I am sicked with the error in their site especially on unlocking bootloader then after a few minutes I treid it then wollaahhh.. It was successful. I have the code now. Just make sure after getting into the last step. Paste the token quickly then click the Submit button as fast as you can then it will be okay.
Hello Guys .. I'm trying to Unlock HTC Sensation XE bootloader but Can't do it since the www.htcdev.com always crashes with me .. i tried firefox,chrome and IE but still the same problem .. is there any other way to Unlock HTC bootlader please ?
HTC is currently fixing htcdev, it's been down since sunday and probably won't be fixed till the end of the week.
HTCdev.com has been wonky the past couple days. Try now, i got it to work after continually resubmitting... (maybe that's what the problem is...)
I unlocked two weeks ago and it took me a good twenty minutes to get that damn site to work... lol

Don't waste your time. I searched and you either have to pay for the service or it doesn't work at all. The HTC website is responding much better, but still isn't actually sending out the email. UGH!!!!

try it again it just worked perfectly for me a couple hours ago
I just created 4 accounts and submitted the token 4 times. The bootloader email will not come. I had unlocked a Sensation last year and it came instantly whats going on? anyone get their email please let us know! and we will try again soon hopefully! hate stock lol
I unlocked my bootloader today, via the new method. The website was running smoothly (using Chrome), and I received my email immediately after I hit the submit button. I think it is hit or miss with people's connections.

Same issue for me since Wed last week! I am beginning to think that $200 just doesn't buy as much company support as $600 does.... Will probably sell the device if I can't get the bootloader unlocked soon.
I am having no issues loading the sites.
U might check any antivirus program u might have on our comp or firewalls

Log in and try to go to unlock bootloader link. I get server busy error.
Heads up guys I just logged in and was able to receive my code. Looks like site is back up. I have been trying the last 4 days with no luck also. Today was the day though!! Hurry before it is down again!

This has been happening since the day the phones came out. The good thing is that you only have to unlock one time. After a month with this phone, I am very happy with it. So don't let the unlock website ruin the phone for you. The rumor is that they run their website with hamsters, they probably tire easily. Small price to pay for such a cheap phone with such good specs.
I like the fact that Huawei has gone out of their way to tell developers how to unlock things and mess with things. Even one of their company reps has posted several times that he will give advice for those making mods.

I got my code by using the chinese part of the site - horribly slow, but it works.

I had to use the Chinese pages as well, but they worked.
Its been more than 32 days since I have bought my KIW-L22 (Indian version). I had no luck with site even though I used both IMEI numbers. Every time I do it, 14 days message appears. Its been more than 32 days and getting frustrated with it.

Hello, that won't do it, only the unlock does.
Unlocking the bootloader won't prevent OTA updates.
But custom recovery, like TWRP will. You will have to go back to stock before installing updates.

Not sure, if it's the same issue, but I think everyone has been misinterpreting the 14 days warning. What it says is the ID "has not been used on the phone for more than 14 days." While most people have understood that to mean "you have to have used the phone for 14 days," what I discovered it probably actually meant was "The ID you put in here has not been used on this phone for over 14 days" or, in my case "has never been used on this phone." I think the hard stop is trying to prevent granting unlock codes to inactive users, not new users. The second part of the equation is that the ID with which you log in has to be in some way tied to your phone. I had tried to log in with Facebook because my email registration had screwed up. I was getting that error because I hadn't used that Facebook account on my phone. So I downloaded the Facebook app, logged in with my account, and tried again. This time it worked!
TL;DR: Make sure you log into Huawei site using an ID (phone number, email address) that is actively tied to some account on your phone, be it Google, Facebook, etc, and you should get past the 14 days error.

I have created Huawei account using my yahoo email
Have installed Facebook app and login using the same yahoo email
Have installed yahoo mail app with same yahoo email
I still see the message
"The Huawei ID used to apply for the unlock code has not been used on the device for more than 14 days."
I was thinking of that in the same was as you @ultimahwhat thought, in previous two days in have installed almost every app published by Huawei and login using the same Huawei account by thinking it may identify my ID as "used in the device" still no luck.
Even I reset my phone to see if I missed something in initial setup like if I have skipped any Huawei login process in the setup process, but there is no such step in the initial setup.
So actually very disappointed and reall have no idea of what they say.
Feel like I would never buy any Huawei device again and never recommend Huawei to anyone.
This is gonna be my first and last Huawei device.

So I bought my phone directly from oneplus..got the phone yesterday .. all I did was enabled developer and like a fool chose to 'switch kernel' ( honestly I'm not even sure as I was still sleepy but thought it should be safe) and it started to download and asked me if I wanted to reboot .. so I did and got the little error message ...
Now using platform tools I can see the phone but no matter what I try I can't get out of that error ...
Any idea how to fix this without having to deal with customers service ...
Also how long before THE ROM will be released.. or I only need the boot.img

I know dealing with tech support can be a pain, but when I've called 1+ they've always been very helpful. Some people haven't been so lucky, but I still recommend trying.
I just did that and they asked me if I want a new phone ... btw if you get sent any files from the tech guys .. please post them here

As of right now, your only option is to get your device repaired under warranty by OnePlus, since there's no unbrick tools for this phone and the remote service guys don't have the firmware files, at least not yet. When this happened to me, I started a repair on OnePlus' website and said that the error happened after installing a system update. I sent it back to OP and got it back a week later at no extra charge.
I should probably make a PSA about this...

Did you get the same exact phone back in a repaired state, or did they send you a new phone? If the former, that means they have MSMDownload Tool available to them, but are not releasing it yet.

They sent me the same phone after repairing it. I'm not sure when the remote service guys will get their hands on the MSM tools for this phone.

For me it took about a week from sending my device out to getting it back.
So 7 days ago they said they will send me labels so I can send the phone back .. and haven't got the labels yet so today I asked them for a remote session but they declined because my laptop can't see the phone .. however FASTBOOT sees it and can create dump log etc ...
Phone must be connected
Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 mode not fastboot mode. Power off your phone press vol + - and connect to your pc. install drivers run msm tool

Only took them a day or two after starting a repair. I'm not sure why it's taking them so long for you. Did you start a repair or contact support?

I just got off the phone with tech support ( i am guessing in india) and just filled up the form for requesting remote service .. hopefully they will send me the link to download ..
After two attempts of them sending me shipping label that were unsuccessful ... lets see if this time will work ( its been 2 weeks with all the waste of time to get a shipping label that never came)

Usually one of two things will happen, depending on your support rep: After 3 or four days, they'll get back to you via the email you provided, or they completely forgot about your case. Ask the tech support guys again if they don't get back to you after 5 days.
