Is there any custom rom that doesn't have wake up lag? So far I've found that AEX and ViperOS are the fastest to wake up the screen, but non of them are as fast as stock MIUI.

I have installed this ROM [ROM][MAR4]ExtremeLegendFuse™2|CustomCM7|FAST|CM9Music|STABLE |T9Dialer and i have found some strange behavior. If you disable LockScreen in CyanogenMod settings then the phone will not sleep after the screen is off by the timeout or after the power button have pressed. "Running" is more then 97% and battery drained very fast (40% per night roughly). If you enabled LockScreen - all will be good - 2% per night, the phone sleep's well! Because of this i can't use any lockscreens instead of stock lockscreen, very sad . My question - is this the standart behavior for CyanogenMod ROMs, or this is the bug of that (ExtremeLegendFuse™2) ROM only?
Doesn't seem to happen on cm 7.1.

Solved.
I flashed the latest CM 7.2 RC1 over that rom (no any wipe) and the problem disappeared. Now my phone sleeps very well.
Good day everyone!
I was wondering if Fluxi's kernel swipe to wake can be ported to Jellybean? The kernel was based on ICS, and according to some people, the kernel is a little bit outdated due to the fact that the latest update (Update 7) wasn't merged with it..
Popular kernel including Siyah kernel has the ability for touch gestures.. Can't swipe to wake be implemented on touch gesture enabled kernels too?
I've been using Fluxi's swipe to wake kernel and so far battery life when sleeping is very impressive...
Any thoughts regarding this... Thanks...
So I've tried several versions of Radon and Agni as well as several custom roms and I can't seem to get consistent double tap 2 wake or sweep gestures. I have tried using Kernel Adiutor, Ex Kernel Manager and flar2 wake gestures app. I've verified that the gestures are enabled on each boot. Sometimes it will work but most of the time it doesn't. I checked my hardware and my kenzo has a focaltech touchscreen with a tianma panel. Any tips, help or insight would be greatly appreciated.
Update: so i read on the wake gestures app forum here on xda to not have any other apps control the wake gestures. After turning them off in kernel adiutor and just using the wake gestures app everything seems to be working as intended.
Are you setting dt2w or sweep to wake on full or half? It only worked on half for mine.

Use sweep up to wake, it works consistently, doesnt' interfere with phone calls and is much less likely to accidentally wake up the phone in your pocket.
Double tap is the worst gesture imaginable.
I have them both set and even sweep is inconsistent

Tried setting just sweep up to wake and same issue sometimes it works but mostly it doesn't
I am using d855 AOSP EXTENDED ROM. This is the common issue I have in every CM based and AOSP rom, but didnt happen in stock based or stock kdz.
I dont like using hardware buttons, so I always enable "double tap to wake device", when the phone is charging it is 100% can be waked by double taping anywhere, I mean when the phone is idle, sleep and locked. But when it is not charged, it takes at least 4 tapsto wake but mostly it need many taps or even not responsive so forces me to use power button to wake it.
I wonder which setting or tweaks that can make the waking become more responsive? I use Greenify to hibernate and doze mode also. I wonder if this is related.
__________
Another issue is that, the notification bar becomes harder to pull down in those roms, in full_screen games or apps, usually in stock based roms I can easily pull down the bar first, then the drawer by swiping down from above, but aosp roms ot takes me lot more trys, so I wonder if there are some settings in build.prop or o5er files of the sensitivity.
Thanks in advance.
try disabling greenify.
so my notif light is not working on every condition, not even when charging. it won't turn on. i currently use AeX with latest chinesse firmware (10.3.1.0) and dark ages kernel. i also tried it on pixel experience and havoc os. it won't work. But when i switched back to MIUI, it works just fine.
anyone has the fix? thanks )
