Hey guys,
I got my Pace (international version) and I am happy with it. The only thing, what I miss is the option or the view on my burned kcal all over the day. I knew this from my fitbit Charge, which shows me, how many kcal I burned even I don't start a workout.
The option to continuous HR is on.
Can I activate it, is it on the schedule from amazfit or can I do it with rooting/flashing the watch?
Beste regards
I guess you need to go to the daily activitiy report to view it..

And it doesn't count in 64 kcal that you burn every single hour
Many watch faces supports the calories and it is the over all value.

But I don't burn 64kcal/hour. If I sleep I don't burn as much as I just walk around or do homestuff.
My old fitbit counted and calculated it also in the kcal counter.
So there is the second minus topic for the pace (first point is not supporting German). But maybe one day it will be there [emoji7]

The calorie display is always a very rough estimate. So that's just nice to have. For a diet or similar, this is useless, but with all fitness trackers.
The Pace can only show calories depended on steps. The general consum of the body without moving, it can't know.

I like it.
Any chance of being able to switch to fahrenheit rather than metric?

It says the fahrenheit below the larger celcius. It would nice to switch f to the larger display, however.
Really liking the beginning of this app though. We basically have a personal weather station in our hands, great to see someone developing a accurate app.
Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk 2
yes, somehow. because the temperature sensor is just next to the large physical home button. so it affect little by the hand temperature as well as little on battery heat temperature. battery heat mostly blocked by the plastic seperator between sensor and battery. but if you play games or work on GPU then it increase the temperature in all parts in smartphone and it affect the sensor alot.
For running a weather station app or accurate temperature, you need to close all apps and put phone in table for 5 mins for better accurate reading.

There is no changes in source code on that reading area. I worked only on ui and other minor fixes. So the problem may be any other thing.
I also working on calibration settings. Once you calibrate readings it shows the adjusted value always for most accurate readings.

First time posting here. I've had the G5 since the first week of April. Just received the Cam Plus Module last weekend and noticed the battery life has improved tremendously when I'm in a location where there is a strong Signal (T-Mobile). I also noticed the phone charging while not attached to a Charging adapter. The phone has been off the charger since 7 am (EST) and is at 90 Percent 3 and a half hours later. Some emailing, web browsing, and Google Fit running in the background with the Fit Widget updating.
Has anyone with a a Cam Plus Module notice this as well?
The cam plus has a battery inside it and will charge your internal battery up. This gives the user more battery time to video and what not. It's the expected behavior.

I used mine the other day when I went out and about filming, taking pictures, etc. It's great and the hump isn't even that bad. I personally am a big fan of the modular design.

Thanks, I figured that had to be the case. 5 hours into my day yesterday, browsing, checking email, texting, and it was still at 91%.
Although I have a case for the phone, I like the hump the Cam Plus provides. I have a better grip of the phone while using it with one hand.
Hi friends!
I'm not an expert, but to me, this seems very strange. I understand that the Redmi Note 4 supports fast charging, but how fast is that actually and how does it work? For example, with the stock charger which is 5V and 2A, my phone from 1% to 100% is charged in about 1 hour and few minutes. The battery is 4100mAh , so for the stock charger it would take approx. 2 hours (plus-minus). Can anybody explain to me how the hell is my phone charged in around 70 minutes? In the different roms, there were different charging times, actually longer. Now with the AOSP custom rom, my phone is fully charged in around 1 hour. Not that i'm complaining, i'm just curious.
That's an interesting question.
I always have known it to be:
>4100maH Battery
>Charging at 2A
Therefore:
4.1AH / 2A = 2.05 hours

Math, the Queen
Fast charging depends on processor capability. Redmi note 4 have 625 SD processor which supports quick charge 3.0. If you go for higher end phones with 8XX Snapdragon processor they have quick charge 4.0 , it will even take less time to charge. You can google about the science behind this, but to the best of my knowledge quick charge 3.0 passes higher current minimizing resistance during charge process. One small detail you can notice, fast charging charges battery upto 80% pretty faster & after that speed of charging slows which is needed to prevent battery from exploding. Almost all fast charging adv says "0-80% in xyz miniutes", hardly anyone advertise 0-100% in xyz mins.
Could you mention, which rom are you using?
as far as i know, 625 supports QC 3
but xiaomi didn't activate it in the kernel hence only QC 2 is working...
Are you getting the same 10 hours of SoT in 1 full charge?
If yes, then what ROM / Kernel you're on?
People are here in this forum randomly talk about SOT & VULCAN API i highly appreciate if anyone explain... Thanks
SoT: Screen on Time, the time you can use your phone with the screen is active e.g. watch a video, text someone...
There is a difference between between SoT and Standby time. You can have a SoT of 12 hours while you carry your phone around 2 days.
Vulkan API: I refer to Wikipedia : https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vulkan_(API)
Very fast!!
Could you please share Rom and Kernel version ?
Yes my battery also charges quite fast on stock Miui rom & the charging graph looks quite straight up but not as fast as turbo charging of moto. Though I never reached below 53% yet because my screen on usage per day on average is 6.30hrs and I get it there by 53%
One thing I'd like to know if it's for everyone.
As I power on the charger connecting to the phone it generates some hiss sound. Listen up closely.
But if I power on charger without connecting phone then there is no such sound.

I am so sorry to tell you, you forgot that the 2A are connected to 5V input -> 10W
The battery is a "BN41" with 4.4V and min 4.0Ah and 15.4Wh -> in theory 15.4Wh / 10W ~ 1.5h with a power factor of 100, but there will be loss as heat is generated during the charging. In order to charge the battery a BMS(either by the SoC or added circuit) is required, which will produce a loss of usable power, hence the higher charging time.
The out of the box charger of my Redmi Note 4 Global is a EU charger rated 5V 2A but never goes above ~1.3A+/-1% (meassured with a Keweisi KWS-10VA USB tester).
A 5V 1.5A USB(*1) and a 5V 8A USB(*6) power supply gives ~1.45A and my 5V3.1A car charger (2xUSB with alternating display for voltage, current and temperature) delivers a bit over 2A.
I read in reviews (cannot remember where) that the Xiaomi US charger for the Redmi 4x SD delivers a higher current, even when connected to 230V.

Hello guys i bought the fossil sport 41mm just a day ago. I want to know is there any way to uninstall bloatware which is causing high battery consumption & low performence.
Thank You any help would be appreciated.
If it's the same as the gen 5 try the following to solve some battery issues. My gen 5 went from less than a day to 2 full days.
- Remove the fossil HR complication from your watchface.
- Turn OFF tilt to wake.
- Turn on Always On Display
- Uninstall Cardiogram App
I think there was a bug in the fossil HR complication as it would trigger the sensor a lot on mine!
A couple of friends have done this also and it's made a huge difference on their gen 4/5 so I would be keen to know how you get on too.

Wouldn't call HR sensor triggering a bug when you have it set on your watch face. That's what it's supposed to do - track your heart rate

You misunderstood me. Its meant to only trigger every 20 minutes and display the last HR reading till it next triggers, just like Google fit does it. On my watch it's triggering every time I wake the screen. Combine that with tilt to wake and you get the jist.
Just the removal of the fossil HR complication from watchface improved my battery life by at least double.

I have Fossil 5th Gen.
I was able to complete all these functions.

- Uninstall Cardiogram App
But I cannot find where to remove the "HR Complication". Can you provide steps please
Thank you
Chris
The complications are the little information discs on the watch face. Long press the watch face and it will shrink and show a configure icon below it. Press this. Then click on the one for HR and change it to anything other than the HR.

No, you can not run Android apps on a non-Android tool, there are 0 alternatives alas. But if you obtain Android on it, you'll be lacking out on the watch spinning dial, and with this kind of small display on the sport like shoes, I couldn't consider going touchscreen-best.
