Hi guys, so I use LINE messenger on my OnePlus 3 and I want to switch to my Note 8.
But if I just install and login on the Note 8, LINE will not sync the message from the OnePlus 3 (unlike WhatsApp) and will delete it from OnePlus 3 also.
I have tried this once when switching to OnePlus 3 and I was devastated. The message is pretty important so that's how it is.
IDK if Titanium Backup could help, but one thing for sure is that I couldn't even open that. My OnePlus 3 is rooted. Anyone could help?

Neither the Helium desktop app, nor the Chrome app, manages to enable Helium.
It still works with other phones (i.e. HTC One M9, HTC One X, Nexus 5X) but not the Xiaomi phone (Redmi 3S Pro, updated to MIUI 8.1.1.0).
I'm on Mac OS 10.9.5 and I've tried every cable I could find as well as every USB-port my MacBook has. I also tried both MTP- and PTP-mode. And all this in every possible combination...
Have anyone managed too make it work with this phone?
Use titanium
As much as I like Titanium, it's not and alternative this time. The phones are for the kids and it's of the uttermost importance that Pokémon will be functional... And without root, Titanium isn't an option.
Hey! I'm trying to view past notifications from Redmi 3S. While starting activity com.android.settings.Settings$NotificationStationActivity works perfectly fine on Redmi Note 4, on Redmi 3S when you click any notification to view its details, you get instantly redirected to general app info from "Installed apps" panel, so you can't really see what the notification content was. I'm not interested in installing any logging apps, since I want to retrieve notifications that have already been dismissed. I've tried extracting logcat, event log etc, but none of them have notification contents inside. From what I've read, android notification manager calls getHistoricalNotifications() method to extract needed data. What might be the reason notification manager doesn't work as intended on Redmi 3s, but is perfectly fine on redmi note 4 ? They both have Miui 10 installed.
Any ideas how to extract needed notifications without rooting phone ?
Hello, i'm a possessor of a huawei p9 lite, but i'm changing it because it has problems with background apps. I need to use apps like appblockers that works in background and are very important to me. I'm willing to buy the redmi 6a but i need to know if it has problems with killing the app in background. thanks>!
Have you cheched in the phone manager's battery settings to set your apps as they don't have to close?
You have to open Phone Manager, go to Battery section and select protected apps or something similar and then set the switch as you wish on the app you want to keep running.
Also, if you need it, there's the AppLock feature always in the phone manager.
Btw I've just bought online the Redmi 6A so on Tuesday I'll be able to tell u if it keep apps but I think it will be the same as huawei devices: you first need to set the app as permitted to run in background

Click to collapse
Yeah i set every setting possible to inhibit the close of the application, in battery managment, app managment, set the app as home app, etc. I tried everything and still the app does not work properly. Yeah please let me know if your redmi 6a work then
I have an honor 7a and it happens that if I use more apps at once (keeping them in background) after some time, other apps gets closed.
It should happen because of the ram that can't keep many processes and so it closes it or something like this.
Very annoiyng of course.
If it isn't because of the phone manager, than it's related to hardware limitations
I received my new phone some weeks ago and actually is a Redmi 6 and not a 6A
BTW the apps are not getting closed and even if they do, you just need to change the settings in battery manager.
MIUI have a way better power management.
Love it

For years this has been my go to forum to find answers to many of my questions and luckily I have always found solutions without having to ask questions, but I knew there was a time where I would have to start placing questions and here is my first one.
I have the above mentioned phone and have recently installed Android Messages. The reason for that is that my other half has got herself a Pixel 3a and with that she also has the same default SMS app.
we noticed that we could use it like iMessage on iOS if both of use the same SMS app.
The problem I have is that with my Redmi, the Android Messages app never starts with the Chat Feature activated. After each reboot (which happens every morning as I turn the phone off during the night), I have to go into the Android Messages settings and force the Chat feature to on. In fact when I get there I see the message that my phone isn't compatible with the feature, but after a few seconds of waiting it does show it as available, but it is switched off. This happens every morning.
I have been trying to find a solution for this and came across someone with a similar problem which he fixed by deactivating his phone's native SMS app which apparently was interfering with the Android Messages app.
I don't know how and if it is even possible to deactivate the default SMS app on a Redmi phone, I don't see any options for that. What I have done was to remove all the permissions for the default app, but it still doesn't solve my problem.
Is there anyone who might have managed to overcome this problem or at least give me some hints of what I should try?
regards

I have a Galaxy S7 (old phone) and a Xiaomi 9T (new phone). Neither of them are rooted. Is there a way I can migrate my apps *and their data/settings* from the S7 to the 9T without having to root them?
Things I already tried:
Helium (I purchased Premium). Didn't work. I could backup some (not all) apps from the S7, but it couldn't see the 9T at all.
Mi Mover. The official Xiaomi migration app. This exists in the 9T (part of official phone settings now). However, Mi Mover no longer exists on Google Play but I found a recent APK on other websites and installed it on the S7. It seemed like it was working, but it kept disconnecting on the S7 and never finishing transferring a single app.
Smart Switch. The official Samsung migration app. Only supports Samsung phones as destination phone ...
All sort of other apps that claimed they can transfer apps, but in fact most were only transferring the apk.
Would be really grateful for a solution that doesn't involve root.
