I just received my Samsung GT-i9100 in the mail from the UK. I recently converted to Android after years of using IOS. One of the killer apps I was glad to see was also available for android was the HBO Go app. It installed just fine but the only thing I get is audio, no video. I have the latest stock firmware installed. Does anyone have any suggestions. My apologies if this has been addresses in another post but I could not find it. Thanks.
I'm having the same issue on my G2x. It was working with the stock rom but now it doesn't work with cm7..
Same here Galaxy S II. No video, Lightrning Rom 1.5
Help Please with same issue
I jsut got a Samsung Galaxy 2S (from onthegosolutions google it]) and it came to me ROOTED... I had 2 weeks ago a Samsung Infuse from att and the HBO Go app worked GREAT.. I got this phone on Friday and it doesnt work.. I get adio only and no video.. IS this because it is rooted.. IF so they said they woudl send me a brand new one not opened (not rooted) to replace this one.. Does this work on a non rooted Galaxy S2 (unlocked) thanks guys for your help. I have the same problem on a stock import from amazon with no root
hbo go not working
Received my Galaxy S2 last thursday from Amazon. Confirmed that both HBO Go and Max Go audio only works without video. I tried this before root with stock rom and after on Lite'ning Rom v6.1. It maybe the codecs they are using on the apps?

Its early ......My Bad
Hey everyone.... I posted a few days ago about rom's for my s4 and got no replys, Got fed up and went to buy a nexus (assuming that it having 4.4 would support galaxy gear manager)
I want to get my galaxy gear watch to work with something other than my note3 because its just to damn big sometimes. So I tryed to install 4.3 on my s4, and couldnt get cell reception to work. so i went and bought a nexus 5 because its up to date on the OS's. but now im getting a "device not supported" error.
So ive been reading that when you create a app you give it minimum device support parameters and maximum parameters. so im thinking, YOU HAVE TO BE ABLE TO EDIT THIS!
Thus making gear manager work on my nexus, an allowing me to pair it and get under way!
But i dont know how to do this, can some one help?
Did you think that maybe those parameters are set for a reason?

I understand that it may be a bit glitchy but the peramiters set by this app are so it can only be used on a samsung device running jellybean 4.3 and at the current time so it can only be run by a note 3..... not because other phones cant handle it.... on the nexus it might be a glitch fest (witch so far its not) but on the s4 it will be fine.... but thanks for the help/
Hello everyone
Just got a samsung galaxy watch, loaded in the Samsung Wear app as required. However, it will not pair with the watch, it resets each time.
I've read other mate 20 Pro users being affected. Anyone else had a problem?
Only thing I can think of is an incompatibility issue with a android 9.
Thanks
My zen watch 2 connected no trouble

Also you'll need the galaxy watch plugin app, ive got the Galaxy watch and have no issues at all with it, works as good as it did when it was paired to my Note 9.

Working for me also (Galaxy Watch 42mm + Mate 20 Pro), although I have occasionally some bluetooth disconnect/reconnect.

Oh ok, my connections really strong, its never disconnected once. Even when phones downstairs and im upstairs it's still connected. I was surprised that it works just as well as when it was connected to my Note 9.

I disagree with that. I like to try all different brands of phone, not so much Apple since the 5s but Samsung have been ok for me. I still have my Note 9, it's just slightly too big for daily use. Not one issue with it besides that. Now this Huawei phone, i cant say I've had no issues with this, from auto brightness messing up and third party launchers not working properly with gestures. I like the phone but it's far from perfect. And also this is my 3rd due to the green screen issues. Looking forward to see what the S10 has to offer.

Excuse me, man, is your watch new this year?
The Galaxy Watch is a few months old, got it when it was released.
I received an updated firmware both on the watch and the phone, now I don't have any disconnect issues anymore but I don't know if it's a Samsung or Huawei fix.
Everything works just fine here, especially after Samsung's latest update, which fixed reconnection issue
Hey did you guys without issues enable anything special? I have to manually connect every day. Did you add the apps to the whitelist or anything.
Thinking about going back to wear os with the fossil watch.

Nothing special, but noticed I had to turn screen on phone for them to connect, so for example when I turn on Bluetooth on the phone then turn watch on and leave them next to each other to connect obviously the watch takes a couple of minutes to boot up so by then the screens timed out on my phone, so once I unlock phone after about a minute it'll then connect which is a bit weird never had that problem when it was connected to my Note 9. Watch would connect with my Note 9 whether the screen on phone was off or on.

Yeah looks like I have to hit the open on phone button and all is good. I normally have 2 devices connected at a time and coming from lg v30+ it handled that better than most phones.
I agree, watch is perfect connected to samsung phone. Wife uses the note 8 without any issues. But I understand that part, its meant to be used within samsungs world.

Anyone trying Mate 20 Pro with the Bluetooth version of Galaxy Watch? Or is it working only with LTE version? Thanks!

I have the opposite experience. Have both note 9 And mate pro, I haven't used my note 9 since I got the mate, so enough said!
Hi! So, I recently got my new S21 Ultra 5G! Yay! Little did I know, my beloved Gear S would be rendered useless. Does anyone know of a workaround for the clearly purposeful incompatibility? Thanks!
Welcome to XDA
Samsung ended support.
Try the Samsung forum.
Try copying the most recent working apps for it from another phone with ApkExport and try loading them on the S21u.
You will need to firewall block updates and Samsung's connection to it most likely or it will get trashed if it installs/loads successfully.

Didáctica you find a solucionar to use it?
Install Android Wear. It has been discontinued for a while. I couldn't get it to work with my Note 9 even back a few years ago.
