Hi...
I made ma phone dead... like super dead... What exactly happened in, i went to recovery mode by pressing volume up+power buttons, there i did WIPE AND RESET. Then i turned on the phone, and it is asking me my mi account password, but i forgot what the password is, so i thought to flash it. So i downloaded ROM and MIFLASH and installed miflash. Opened miflash, choose the rom, and tried to flash, but got error, so i downloaded another ROM, this time my phone model name was not coming in miflash when i hit refresh, but COM is what its showing. Then i flashed the 2nd ROM in downloaded, again i got error, this morning i donwloaded another ROM, and flashed it, it became successfull. But phone won'b boot up or turn on. So i checked whether MiFlash detecting ma phone or not. AND BANG. Its not detecting. Checked in Device manager - when i flashed 1st adn 2nd rom,in device manager, it showed as some HUB or something, but now not even that. Nothing showing about phone in Device Manager and Miflash. Thats why i called it ULTRA DEAD.
Note - installed adb and fastboot, checked by typing "adb devices' and "fastboot devices", it showed nothing.
Am trying to get ma phone since 2 days and 48 hours continuosly, not even slept until now.
Coz am a tech geek who wants to find solutions somehow. But for this, i dont know what to do, and thought XDA will help me.
So guys, u know my problem now, waiting for a bright solution.
Note :
1.Did everything, adb, fastboot, flashing, kept charging for all night, mi pcsuite.
3.My drivers are good, coz when i connected ma Redmi to PC, it showed nothing, so i thought maybe connector wire got damaged. But i checked the connector with ma another phone, it showed fine in device manager and also showing internal storage.
(Connector means the USB cable)
2.And ofcourse if these wont find working, i had to go to nearest service center.
Thank you in advance...
Regards

Hello,
I isntalled that rom with kernel. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2391858. and the problem is now that my pc, cant see my phone, i tried every method i found on the site. i instaled all drivers and reinstaled from flashtool like 10 times, and my pc still doesnt see device. while i try to connenct via fasboot. i have the violet light for like 2 sekonds and after it the device starts to boot normally, same is with flashboot. flash tool does not give any msg of connecting a device. can any tell a way to get it working? i want to flash to stock soft. but i cant cause nothing sees the device with installed drivers.
FOrogot to ad that i flashed the aospa rom, cause i thought i will get usb working atlast. but im stuck now on com.android.phone stopped working, and i cant even download any other rom using phone:
EDIT
Just read in nemesis kernel topic "* Computer/PC Companion and even Flash Tool cannot detect.". so Any ideas how can i flash it. without have any other rom on sd card? I will be rlly happy if someone can help me, i know i made a big mistake but not doin recovery, first time i not did and all went wrong.
do u have SUS? (Sony Update Service)
try connecting with SUS if SUS don't detect your phone then flashtool will not detect your phone also.
Well it doesnt not see to, In my opinion no porgram will see it if device manager cant see it, but now after some slleep i got and idea. Could it be maybe the problem of to old micro usb cable. because my got broken. and i have to use from my sister that has samsung wave.
Good Luck.
LED should be blue not violet for fastboot.
Make sure the phone is shut down first, press volume up + power for 10-15 seconds untill you feel 3 vibrations.
Well whatever coulour it is violet or blue. I press the volume up connect the phone to usb. And i got this coulur for 2-3 second and then it goes to charging mode. it happens every time. Same happens to flashboot. Green for 2-3 sec and the it goes to charging mode.

It's not "whatever" if it's violet it means it's waiting for vol- to enter CWM and not entering fastboot.
Make sure the phone is turned off as I explained.
Phone is turned of, I allways wait for those 3 vibrations before i begin the process. And here to enter the cwm is blue, and for fastboot i have violet. If i had a camera i would record it to prove it.

Flashtool and PCC worked before on the same PC?
What do you see in flashtool log when you connect in fastboot and flash mode?

THey say nothing, As i say in the first post. PC does not see the device, Flastool handles as nothing has been conected. same device manager on wondows. no poop outs that drivers are missing, or anything.. Fastboot has allways waiting for device, doesnt matter how much i try to onnect. It worked before. I tried on other laptop but its same. Thats why later i wrot that maybe this cable is to old for that phone. But it works for other phones.

It could be the connector on the phone.
I use samsung cable no problem, the Sony that came with XP is still sealed
Hi guys, I recently purchased a Homtom HT3 for my mother, when it arrived to me I charged it and checked it out a bit just to make sure everything was fine which it was.
She collected it from me the next day and told me she'd start to use it the day after, she calls me up the next day and tells me there's some problems with it and a few people at her workplace tried to fix it for her to no avail. I pick the phone back up and I notice that everytime I power it on, it gets stuck on the "homtom" logo.
As I don't know too much about fixing phones I only took the following steps before asking for advice here; I went into recovery mode by holding up volume and power button, the android guy with the red triangle appeared so I tapped up + power button to get into the recovery(?) menu. I wiped the phone to factory settings and deleted the cache in there but it hasn't fixed the problem.
I assume I need to flash a firmware or something to potentially fix this, but I'm unable to find an official firmware from doogee/homtom's site for the HT3. I've found a firmware that I downloaded from "chinagadgetsreviews" but I'm a bit weary to try and flash with that rom because it isn't from the manufacturer. (even if I knew how to - the only experience I have is rooting my own phone but that's when I actually had access to a working phone, not one thats stuck on a boot logo).
Sorry for the long post but could anyone guide me in the right direction here? TIA
I'm not opposed to not using official firmware, I think I use cyanogen mod(?) on my own phone. I'd just like the problem fixed in the easiest way possible.
Trying to fix it myself by flashing a rom via SP flash tools but I've ran into another problem which is stopping any kind of progress - the phone isn't detected in Windows, I can't enable usb debugging because I can't get passed the boot loop, I've tried installing the ADB driver manually which didn't seem to work (just said it didn't install correctly and left me with a yellow exclamation mark) and I tried to install it automatically via ADB driver installer but it just throws up an error that the device isn't detected.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hello. I bought a Homtom HT3 and next day a done an update with sp flash tool. all gone ok, but phone now wont to turn on. I contact homtom and got all drivers and room to fix it. Now i have a problem , i hit download on flash tool , take off battery + pres volume down + conect phone on usb cable. My computer detect it as USB MTK PORT sp flash tool load only the first red line but not detecting phone info, then after 1 minute i get
s_ft_da_no_response(4001) da didn't send response data to flash tool.
I changed drivers port even to MTK preloader, but i get same error.
NOTE....... All drivers and rom i got original from HOMTOM.
Thanks to all who can help me.
I can show a screenshot if need.
Same here - any solution for this problem?

Hi,
I got my new phone a couple of days back, installed CM13 (officially unlocked, did that with TWRP + install ROM) probably incorrectly because i couldn't get the fingerprint sensor and other stuff to work at all.
Today my phone turned off by itself with around 70% of battery left and it's not responding anymore. Cannot go into Recovery mode, not even to Fastboot. Connected it to the charger and have the red light of the devil blinking... Tried to do everything i found online but i couldn't get into EDL mode (and then Flash through MiFlash), since fastboot is not working at all.
I really don't wanna have to open the back of the phone and. What can i do to save the phone? Is there any proven solution and a comprehensive guide to this (for a total idiot like me)?
Yes there is deep flash cable method search on xda/youtube it works like a charm,😉, this method saved me once
Try this (http://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-3/how-to/guide-how-to-flash-hard-bricked-redmi-t3490055) works 100%
Try to disconnect and reconnect the battery.
This has kicked me into EDL mode once and after flashing it was fine
Both methods are sound, but if you decide to remove the back cover, remember to eject the SIM card tray first
Thanks for the replies, i was hoping i wouldn't have to have to open the back cover and disconnect the battery but it seems to be the only option at this point.
The deep flash cable doesn't seem that difficult tho, why don't you give it a shot? It seems like that's what they use at MI service centres after all.
So i have managed successfully to have the pc recognise the device as Qualcomm Hs USB Qdloader 9008, opened the MiFlash tool and recognised the device, but when i try to flash a stable MIUI rom i get an error: "Write timed out" as many times i tried to do it.
Does anybody have a suggestion?
My device was unlocked officially and i have no recovery no fastboot nothing at all.

Get into EDL
Hi, so I have encountered a rather big issue with my xiaomi redmi 3 pro.
I believe I have flashed wrong (corrupted ? ) ROM, now I have a really annoying situation.
So, I flashed " ido_xhdpi_images_V7.2.6.0.LHPCNDB_20160129.0000.14_5.1_cn " in MiFlash, took a bit long time (nearly 15 minutes), afterwards it was completed, I disconnected my phone, and *BOOM* since then, black.
Current situation is this: When I connect my phone via USB, my phone gets recognized in device manager as
"Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM#)", also it gets recognized in MiFlash, but can't get it to work in fastboot, and it is not recognized as adb device. So, throughout 3 days now, I tried nearly EVERYTHING I have found on forums. The only thing I have not done is to take the back cover off and disconnect battery ( as I have seen on forums), tried with deep flash cable, all possible combinations of buttons and all. If the phone is connected to PC, when I press whatever combination of buttons on phone I just get Windows sound for connecting an USB device.
So today, when I connected it, red LED light was blinking, I have no idea what that was, so I plugged it into the wall to charge for 10mins, and now when I connect it, it's gone again, all black, no response whatsoever.
So, when I connect it to MiFlash and try to flash any ROM, tried nearly everyone I found, I get the same message; "Unspecified error 0x80004005; End Transfer packet id0, status 9" if I refresh MiFlash without disconnecting, and press flash again I get "Reached the end of the file. (0x80070026; Receiving hello packet) "
Things maybe to mention: I am running a 64 bit Windows 10, and my bootlocker is locked.
So I am wondering, if there is any possible way to solve this or it's time for a new phone?

Hi all,
my redmi note 3 pro suddenly stoped working. It restarted flashed Mi start up screen once and died.
Red notification is flashing when charging, fastboot dosen't work.
When connected to pc for the first time in device manager says qualcomm hs-usb qdloader 9008 (com3)
if disconnected and connected again windows dosen't recognise it anymore.
It flashed the startup screen one more time and went dead again.
Never unlocked the bootloader or tried to flash anything.
Don't know the MIUI version, I supose it's the latest (OTA updated).
It is hard to find the right guide because all of them are old and en.miui.com links are dead .
Is it possible to save the data from the phone?

Hello there. I have also encountered this situation before, and turned out the battery was broken. You may try to replace the battery with a new one to see if the same failure will occur.

Battery life was getting worse lately, the phone wasn't reading battery levels well (empty battery would show 20% when pluged to the charger). I tried disconnecting the battery but didn't help.
Can I turn on the phone without battery?

I haven't tried turning on the phone without battery. I bought a new battery online for replacement, and then my phone turned on normally.
