Hi everybody. When I use custom rom in my phone I'm getting random reboots. I have managed to get logs and last_kmsg for this problem but I am unable to find the ptoblem and solution. From logs I can see that something 8s messed with RIL.
Any help to know and fix this problem will be highly appreciated..
I have attached the log and last_kmsg only thr name is kmsg but it is actually last_kmsg.

please help every time i got to file explorer i get the "problem with fexplore.exe" popup
how can i fix this??
Unfortunately it's usually a case of hard-resetting when you get that message
Have you installed a custom rom? And if so did you do a Task 29 (or similar) first before flashing? Did you hard reset after flashing the rom? Missing those steps sometimes causes that error message.
Good luck! I hope you fix it.
Ian
well i think i did solve it and didn't at the same time.
i just did start/settings/menu/allsettings/system/errorreporting and disable the error reporting and now it works but i know the problem still there somewhere
@otherworld
thanks but no i didn't flash any rom but I'm doing it tonight, the problem started when i start messing with hdwalls
I've been experiencing random freezes, at least one daily, which force me to hold power to restart the phone. The phone otherwise appears to operate just fine. I finally figured out the SDK system and got an error-filtered logcat. I have no idea how to interpret whats going wrong, and before I pin a logcat in the wrong dev forum, how can I determine the relevant causes of the errors recorded?
adb logcat *:E
cm 10.1.3
ajk 4.8
ucmd8 modem
4.1.2 bootloader

Hey guys,
I've got a problem with my WiFi-Adapter. That Problem exists now for a few months. When i tap on "enable WiFi" it initializes the WiFi module but after some moments it turns off again. It's definitely a software related problem so pls help me. I've been trying to fix that by my own but I don't know where to begin to fix this. That all began when I used the normal Stock Rom. Currently I'm using an unofficial CM11. The system change didn't change anything. Quite annoying...
In hope for help!

Is your Wifi mac address unavailable,if yes we have same problem,i tried flashing new kdz,and changing numerous roms but problem still persist.
Can you go to system/etc/wifi and see if you got nvram.txt file, mac address is stored there,if that file exist maybe we can fix it
Hi n0p3zz,
sorry for answering that late. I've been busy a lot so I didn't have time to care about my phone.
So I just looked up what you said and I didn't find that .txt-file. What i found are several .cfg-files. My ROM is CM 11 Unofficial, if that helps you in any way. My problem is that i cant't transfer any files from my Phone to my PC.
BTW, this problem also happened to me with stock everything, no root, no kernel, no nothing (except oem unlock).
Sometimes (not everytime, but a lot of times, so it´s bothering) when I click a media (photo or video) in whatsapp, and I press the back button, whatsapp freezes for about 30 seconds, I can pull the drawer and use the phone normally, but if I try to use whatsapp, it just hangs there and eventually comes back. This started happening with Lollipop and older versions of whatsapp, but it´s still bothering me even after a clean flash and Im now on 6.01 with Elemental X 6.11 on my Nexus 5. I´ve tried diferent default media players but same thing happens. I contact whatsapp and at first they blamed my phone being modified (rooted), but it happened after a clean stock flash also. Please can anyone help me diagnose this?
I saved a video of the problem so you can see what I mean: https://plus.google.com/+TarcísioLopesGFC/posts/2fum2Nd2RY5
Thank you
