Whatsapp - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have changed my phone and I have taken the backup of my whatsapp data also and stored it on to my PC.
Now I have the only 2files that were stored by name:
msgstore-2017-10-17.1.db.crypt12
msgstore.db.crypt12
Both files are of the same size,(about 77MB) and is only text data.
Now when I install whatsapp on new device and trying to restore from the above files, at after 13% of restore an error message comes up and says that "unable to restore the messages"
Once again telling.. I have these 2 files only. I have NO KEY file also with me,
Is there any chance to recover my data. If so, please let me know how to do that.
If required, I have no objection to share my PC through teamviewer for the helping hand

[Q] Titanium Backup Messages Not Working

Hey,
Running a Samsung Galaxy S Relay (Don't think this matters, but just in case), and just put CM10.2 on it.
I ran Titanium Backup on everything before I wiped my phone, and when I tried to restore my messages, it only restored two full threads of people, instead of however many I had. It gave me a System Batch Failed in the notification bar. I looked at the backup file, and all my text messages seem to be there, so I'm not sure why it failed. My call log data was restored successfully though.
Now the problem is that TitaniumBackup won't even detect my Messages and Call Log backups in my destination folder. When I set the correct destination folder, it shows there are 2 backups (Call Log & Messages) detected. But when I try to restore, it says there isn't any backup data to be found (like 0 system data to restore). I sent out a few messages and I can't even backup my current messages and call log.
I'm completely stumped on what to do. I tried looking in my sd card, but there doesn't seem to be anything that stores data that TitaniumBackup will detect to fail to recognize my messages and call log.
Any help would be appreciated - thanks!

[Q] Acessing Whatsapp Database

I have encountered a very weird error when i attempted to edit the database of whatsapp
I have made an app (Requires Root) which will copy the Whatsapp Database to Storage then it will edit it. After it finishes editing the database it copies it back to Whatsapp Directory(/data/data/com.whatsapp/databases/) . After the database it put back to its original place, i closed Whatsapp and reopened it. On Nexus 5 running Android L it worked but on my Galaxy S2 4.1.2 when i open Whastapp i get a message saying my message history is corrupted (I checked the Database, it isn't corrupted since i was able to open it in Root Explorer). I got rid of the error on my Galaxy S2 By using Titanium Backup (I backed up Whatsapp's Data when it gave me the corrupted message then i pressed restore [I basically DIDN'T Do Anything])
Why Did it work when i backed up a database that whatsapp considered corrupted the restored it?
How can i make it work without having the user to use Titanium Backup?
Thanks a lot For reading my question.

Help for recovering WhatsApp data

Hello,
I suddenly lost all my WhatsApp messages for no reason, and restoring them from my local backup does not work. Can you help me fixing this issue?
Let me explain:
In January I used the app « Import That App Messages from Windows Phone », in order to recover my WhatsApp messages from my old Windows phone to my new Android phone. I successfully performed the data transfer process to this phone (OnePlus 7T Pro, Android 10).
However today when I opened the WhatsApp app I suddenly got a message which said something like « Your chat history stopped working. You can restore your data by clicking on Restore ». I chose Restore but it actually only restored empty group discussions, without any messages inside, and no discussion were restored. Then, in the WhatsApp settings I checked my backup settings and saw there was a Google Drive backup dated of January (which corresponds to the moment I originally transferred my data from my old Windows Phone) and a local backup from February (which contains important new messages arrived in the meantime).
So I decided I would try to restore the local backup, since it is more recent.
I uninstalled WhatsApp, then installed it again and followed the instructions until it asked me to restore from a Google Drive backup. At this moment I turned off my Internet connection, clicked on Continue, waited until a message told me something like « The research is taking longer than expected ». Then I clicked on Skip so that WhatsApp detected my local backup and asked me if I wanted to restore it. I clicked on Restore, then the process started with a progression bar, but when the bar arrived at 100% I got an error message proposing me to Ignore or to Look for an older backup. The 1st button led to a restore only of empty group discussions.
I uninstalled WhatsApp again, did the same process and tried the 2nd button, which led to a search for a Google Drive backup, which I don’t want to use.
I tried the process several times but it failed every time.
I precise that in my internal phone storage I kept a folder « WhatsApp » inside which I have 3 visible folders: Backups, Databases, and Media. There are also 4 hidden folders: .Shared, .StickerThumbs, .Thumbs, and .trash.
Inside Backups there are 4 files: chatsettingsbackup.db.crypt1, statusranking.db.crypt1, stickers.db.crypt1, and wallpaper.bkup.
Inside Databases there is 1 file: msgstore.db.crypt12 (which I believe is the main backup file to recover my messages).
Inside Media there are 10 folders : .Status, WallPaper, WhatsApp Animated Gifs, WhatsApp Audio, WhatsApp Documents, WhatsApp Images (this folder contains all my pictures sent and received), WhatsApp Profile Photos, WhatsApp Stickers, WhatsApp Video, and WhatsApp Voice Notes.
I really need help. Can you help me restore my messages? What should I do?
Thank you a lot in advance!

How do I restore the backup from Google? (without losing new messages)

When I reinstalled WhatsApp it did not restore the backup. The reason was probably that I initially denied WhatsApp access to contacts. Now finally I did give WhatsApp access to contacts, and my backup about one gigabyte in size shows up in the settings. The backup is only in Google. Before wiping the phone, I checked if there is a way to create a local backup of WhatsApp, but I didn't find it anymore.
How do I restore the backup without losing new messages?
PS: I used the WhatsApp contact function to send them a message, but the message bounced:
Code:
[email protected]
host smtpin.vvv.facebook.com [2a03:2880:ff:fffd:face:b00c:0:686e]
SMTP error from remote mail server after end of data:
554 5.7.1 POL-P6 Message refused https://www.facebook.com/postmaster/response_codes?ip=2a04:c9c7:0:1073:217:a4ff:fe3b:e77c#POL-P6
Open WhatsApp and verify your number.
Then, tap RESTORE to restore your chats and media from Google Drive.
After the restoration process is complete, tap NEXT.
WhatsApp will restoring your backup files.
