I want to root my device:angel: Huawei GR5 mini NMO-L31 emui 5.0. so I unlock bootloader and flash twrp IMG file.
I use this commands...
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
fastboot reboot
It worked successfuly:good:. But when I tried to go on recovery mode by powering off my device and perss power button and volume up Button my phone shows a warning message and below that it shows your device is booting now.
I wait about 1 hour but it still the same.
What to do now?
Please help me xda-devolopers with possible way.

In order to install custom recovery you need to unlock your Bootloader , to do that follow instruction step by step.

This is for Huawei Mediapad T1 S8-701w/u aka Mediapad T1 Honor.
As we all know this device has LOCKED bootloader and it is not rootable (only russsia firmware for s8-701u is)!
I am not responsible for bricks so procede at your own risk!
Read whole process before you begin.
First backup everything including internal SDcard!
1) This process will install factory unlocked ROM with just basic testing apps you will loose your curent ROM( we will return it on step 3)

BUGS:
Internal sdcard is mounted to /data/media, while on device /storage/emulated so use external SDcard.
Also because of wrong mounts when you do wipe it will delete everything on internal SDcard (only /data/media will stay)
TOUCH dont work when booted: just wait till screen off timeout (10s), then press power to turn screen on it will work now

I tried and CWM and TWRP.
ADB Tool shows that all goes well, but when I press any combination of buttons to enter the Recovery, Tablet enters in the bootloader ...
Now cannot install a different ROM, because it does not start Stock Recovery to initiate dload, it enters the bootloader and standing there.
Do you have any idea what to do ...?
Edit: From Now as soon as plug the USB cable Tablet lights up ...
Edit: Nothing deleted on the internal SD card... Still I can see my old files

Can you explain what did you did last? Recovery, system, and cust images are flashed with fastboot in bootloader mode. There is only twrp recovery image here to download.

Thanks for the info. I updated first post with more info on how to resolve issue if stuck in bootloader, unable to boot to recovery!
Now that we are unlocked we should make some presure (send emails) to Huawei to release kernel source!
It would be interesting to see is it somehow possible to flash 701w with 701u FW, because as I can see on my tablet, it seems that SIM connector is here, but filled with some kind of rubber sponge material.
It is posibble. Just use system and cust images from u version. I am not sure if the sim connector is in. Cant get that sponge out.
Edit: that factory unlocked update.app is from u version anyway
Edit2 I think that all roms are similar they just disabled some stuff for wifi version with config files.
like /cust/channel/*/prop/local.prop

It would be much easier to put the sponge out with removed back plate.

there was a problem: as soon as I push cable in tablet, from the charger or computer, tablet turn on, although previously it was switched off. Now I can not recharge when tablet is switched off, just when he is turned on...
I didn't do offline charging. I will see what i can do. That is not really a problem.

I have to hold the buttons Power and Vol- right up to the moment when it appears Huawei logo. Then go into TWRP Recovery.
If I let a moment sooner or later, can not enter the recovery.

Dear surbiks,
Did you go thru these forums before putting CWM on your device? CWM does not give any advantage except nandroid backup. You cannot flash huawei roms via CWM. To flash roms you need the original huawei recovery in place i.e. you need to overwrite CWM with original recovery before attempting to flash a new rom huawei way via dload folder.

i say no fastboot and no recovery. it is hard bricked. no way connect to pc.JTAG cant flash eMMC .

Follow post #5 above, it works perfect, I had the same issue.
Extract the recovery from the firmware and reflash the way eenapp says.
I had to change the words to lowercase in the flash command and it worked.

I did update files error in the folder on the internal storage shed with three buttons not DLOAD update, Mediapad x1 logo stuck on the phone and did not look up, when the phone is powered off, and turn the phone vibrates work, but the logo is Huawei and because spilled into the internal update files memory could not do anything and I did not phone comes logo stuck on the MediaPad x1, phone comes fast downloads I burn when uploading a file with ADB, writes the remote loader is not allowed Because zakryt.Telefon will not be put into the restoration and only takes FastBoot.

I know enough to tell you that I'd you can get fastboot yo work, its not bricked. Honestly I don't own the device. I own lg g3. And it might be different for this device but you can try pushing recovery from fasyboot mode using your PC. You might wanna google how to tbh and ask around ppl with similar device if possible. Pushing through fastboot/adb is most common so pushing recovery will format recovery partition and install/push new one. That will get you working recovery. (I hope). Happy flashing.
In fastboot check if bootloader is locked by running the device info command... It is not locked you have hopes... Use fastboot to flash fastboot rom package with modified emmc file and modded image...
Its locked
Only way is to do test point method or take it to a service center

Steps:
A).On the computer in windows disable driver signature enforcement featrure and turn off any protection like security suites,AV software or firewalls.To disable driver signature enforcement you must open command prompt and type:a)bcdedit.exe -set loadoptions ENABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS and press enter
b)bcdedit.exe -set TESTSIGNING ON and press enter
c)reboot computer
d) install MI flash after reboot;download it from here :http://en.miui.com/thread-235865-1-1.html
B) On the phone:

6.from device manager install qualcomm driver;it should be seen in other devices section;right click---update driver----navigate to :C/Program files(X86)/XIaomi/Mi flash/Qualcomm/Driver;Note:you need x64 windows computer for this operation
7.start MI flash---right click and run as administrator;browse for rom folder,you need a fastboot rom(the rom need with suffix tgz to be;not zip).Put the tgz archive(rom) in Local Disk C and extract with winrar!!!!!!(use winrar) to folder;rename the created folder to ROM.In MI flash when do browse for folder SELECT ENTIRE FOLDER NOT JUST THE FOLDER IMAGES.OK?

I have the same problem.
I can get Miflash to show when under fastboot but it doesn't show the COM port but the device id similar if you check Fastboot Devices. but can't flash due to device is locked.
I tried QFIL as well but it can't go into Emergency Download Mode.
Anyone Please help.

Oh Lol , have asked many people but none of them are sure about this .. but i have asked from mi chat they said once bootloader is unlocked you can't lock it back by flashing MIUI roms as it's security feature . SO we can say unofficial method is problem if you like to switch to between ROM's but official one will not create any problems ..still not sure though have to ask who have done through Official method.

The solution:
1. Press and hold VolUp+VolDown+Power (all 3 buttons) at the same time.
2. The MI logo will appear for some time, and then disappear, don't release the buttons.
3. The MI logo will then appear briefly, and then disappear. Now release all 3 buttons.
4. Connect the phone to PC, and then proceed to use MiFlash as usual.
Use a 64-bit PC

recently I've been having problems with latest marshmallow update so I wanted to downgrade to lollipop and I followed this thread

I installed the rollback package all went just fine and then by mistake I installed BETA UPDATES ANDROID MARSHMALLOW 6.0 ( I know how stupid this sounds :crying: )
now my device is not showing any sings of booting because the huawei logo isn't showing anymore just black screen and sometimes it vibrates
so is there any hope of reviving my device ?

Use hisuite to reinstall the firmware
Or you can get into fastboot and flash it.

tried many combinations to get into the bootloader with no luck
only black screen with vibrations
First you should unlock bootloader, when you unlock bootloader, you can get into fastboot mode and flash system from that mode.
You can find on Huawei site how to unlock bootloader and get boot unlock code, when you do that then you can flash it with fastboot.
FInd Huawei Extractor Tool and extract BOOT.img, CUST.img, RECOVERY.img and SYSTEM.img from update.app which you want to flash. After that you can flash this files via fastboot. To enter into fastboot mode plug in usb and power on phone holding volume - and power button. After that go into adb folder, if you are using windows, copy files which you extracted into platform-tools and then do this commands.
Commands:
fastboot flash boot BOOT.img
fastboot flash cust CUST.img
fastboot flash recovery RECOVERY.img
fastboot flash system SYSTEM.img

But this will void the warranty, and its not his own device so that should be the last option

Get a sd card, create a folder called "dload" without quotes.
Copy the file update.app from the latest B380 into the folder.
Have your phone turned off and press vol+- and power until the screen turns on. It should update.

If you can not enter fastboot mode (power + vol down or vol down and connect to pc) take it to Huawei customer service center.

Hello, i did exactly how you mentioned and now my phone does not turn on.
Got my phone bricked. It doesn't start. Please test if it is still working for realme U1 after the latest color OS update.

Will this work on Color OS 5.2 and android 8.1.0?
Guys the main reason your phone got bricked is due to trying to root it from COS 5.2. COS 6.0 Will give you no errors while rooting your phone using this process.
