Question about a foot possibility way LG V10 h901 nougat - LG V10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Would it be possible to inject root into the source code of LG v10 h901 nougat and compile into a kdz / tot file and flash it with the LG program in download mode? Just trying to find a way to root h901 with factory nougat. Or flash a hacked fastboot to the phone to allow flashing of recovery?
Thanks

Try tis site:
http://lgviet.com/forum/forums/lg-v10.112/
use google tanslate. There are 2 major custom roms for 901 and they are both rooted. You have all instructions on there. Tried them both on my 960a but i have problems with camera and signal, because they are made for 901

Unroot And Downgrade LG G2 Mini From Lolipop To 4.4.2?

Unroot and downgrade LG G2 Mini
I have a LG G2 Mini device that has been rooted. After root procedure I updated it to Lollipop through FOTA and discovered that the update screwed up my whole device. There is a way to cancel the root and downgrade back to version 4.4.2? I have no problem to wipe the device. All I want is to downgrade back to KitKat as fast as possible...

T-Mobile rom to a clean LG rom.

Hey Guys.
So I'm about to get a new G5 from T-mobile.
I understand there are several roms out there for different versions of the device, am I right?
Is there anyway I could get rid of the official T-mobile rom and install instead the official/international LG one, something without all the garbage of a carrier and that will be future update directly by LG?
Will appreciate any leade
Thanks Guys!
Hello there, yes you should be able to depending on if you want to do the work or not.
You would have to root your device using the tot method and then get TWRP on it. After that find a rom that is clean or without bloatware to flash on your H830. No you cannot flash the international version of H850.
Thank you so much for your response.
Unlock the bootloader and root is the first thing I'll do.
So if I rather stay official and not using custom roms, there is no LG clean img I can flash?
Thanks again!

Hello again, you can always flash LG Stock Roms for H830, but just not for H850 on H830.
Use the ROM that's made for H830, you could try H850 but there might be some risks associated with it. Possible brick.

Trying an H850 ROM on an H830 will GUARANTEE a brick.
Do not attempt to to do so!

[H850] Rooted, TWRP v10 to Nougat, how to do it?

Hi,
It should be simple, but I'm confused what to do and which version to install... I have EU, not branded H850 v10e. Rooted with TWRP so official update by Bridge or OTA isn't an option. I wanna move to Nougat, but how? I can't find any Nougat zip to use in TWRP, so I figure only option is to use LGUP. But what version should I install? All I can see are branded versions...
Could someone help me and provide a simplest and safest method to move to Nougat?
Also, TWRP and root isn't problematic in N, same procedure as on MM?
Thanks in advance,
Mark

You could try using TWRP to flash autoprime's zips from here https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g5/development/stock-h850-20a-eu-rom-flashable-zips-t3506514 and follow the OP instructions for rooting. You could also use LGUP to flash H85020a_00_OPEN_EU_OP_1030.kdz that autoprime has also posted at the link above. Just make sure you have the Nougat TWPR installed: twrp-3.0.2-1-h850.img, which can be found here https://dl.twrp.me/h850/
Thanks! For some reason I couldn't find this flashable N zip.... But on the weekend I already switch to N with LGUP

Just like to know which step is better upgrading my LG F600L from MM to Nougat via LGBridge or manual using LGTools flashing kdz to avoid bootloop. Thanks!

I have not seen one. If LG ever made on for 30c I would definitely like to play with it but have only seen kdz for 30b as of now.

Installed V30c from here with no problems, using LGUP.
Used it to recover my phone from brick.
I was rooted and custom recovery on V30c and accidentally accepted OTA for v30d.
Then I was stuck on bootloop in TWRP. I flashed stock recovery and that was it.
Then I lost root and wanted to relock bootloader. After relocking, it was a very big mess.

Hello, i can see many different Region options to download. I can download from TMF, TMI, TMO or TMZ. Did you use TMO which i understand could stand for T-Mobile?
Ok, i ended up downloading 30D from Android File Host and it worked fine.
H90130d is the latest one....
