during the update In flashtool the phone has stopped connecting in the "flashmode" mode
getting : "For 2011 devices line, be sure you are not in MTP mode" error in flashtool
(drivers are ok)
i can only connect using fastboot (with vol+)
is there any software flash option in "fastboot" mode ? bootloader is locked so i dont know if there is any option to recovery phone ?
motherboard drivers are missing
https://developer.sonymobile.com/downloads/drivers/xperia-x-driver/
also install drivers from
C:\Flashtool\drivers (all)

since the bootloader is locked, you don't actually need flashtool (unless you are downgrading)
use
1. Emma
or
2. Xperia Companion
I told that drivers are ok.
a few hours earlier I could start the phone in flashmode
so it's not related to drivers
Emma and xperia companion needs phone to be in flashmode so i cant do anything

I also tried 2 windows PCs

2- Win XP

I tried pdanet to re-install my drivers but its about adb drivers not flashmode
I also tried SUS and now I'm almost sure that this problem comes from Drivers cuz SUS doesn't recognize my device when the green led is on and in device manager my phone is named SEMC flash device and here I also changed the driver manually to STE8500.inf from flashtool driver
and there is no good result till now :|
Drivers
Its all about the drivers. Install SUS, Gordons Gate Flash Drivers, The Flash drivers from flash tool and finally turn off the phone holding power button and volume up for 30 seconds and try flashing it again

Hi again
I do all things which might help updating drivers and so on
but no answer from phone
I thought that this might be because of boot problem
is there any way not use jtag or other ways of boot repair to do this job?
Recently, i tried unlocking bootloader for my xperia sola 6.1.1.b.1.54 and i had a big problem which i saw many users had i.e. installing the fastboot drivers. I tried everything, from trying to install the drivers from device manager to flashtool but everytime my sola got disconnected n plugged into charging. i simply run the Flashtool-drivers.exe in the flashtool dir, checked xperia sola, flashmode drivers, fastboot drivers and ignored all the prompts and copied 'android_winusb.inf' from 'usb_driver' to "C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\Temp\fastboot" and BAM !! It worked
You can get the usb_driver and flashboot files just pm
hope this helps
Okay so I found this other thread on here that said something about PDADB driver thing, ive installed that, then from the flashtools folder i installed the drivers (for the 34th time). But I still keep getting an error

Open the ftf file with winrar.
Extract the file named kernel.sin on desktop.
Connect your phone on fastboot mode and install the kernel.
Connect the phone on flashmode and install the rom.
Should work this way mate.
To use fastboot mode you have to install phone's drivers.
Again the phone does not stay in flash mode or fastboot mode because i keep getting an error.
PLease read the post before replying.
Did you install fastboot drivers besides xu drivers? Theyre at the very end of the list.
Hi I have Xperia GO ST27i and I've tried to unlock bootloader with flashtool, and there says that I have not have drivers installed, but I do, I tried installing drivers for fastboot with android_winusb.inf and it showed me error that drivers are damaged or something like that. I've tryed unlocking bootloader with offical xperia unlocking guide (their website) and in the cmd it didn't detect my phone probably because of drivers S1Boot Fastboot.
I would realy appriciate any kind of help,

If you go into the installation folder for flashtool there is a folder called drivers which contains an .exe program, they have 99.9% of the drivers available for xperia devices, install the fastboot and flash drivers aswell as any others that correspond with your device, it would help if you looked up the chipset if in doubt.
Hopefully once you've installed these drivers then you should be ok, remember to switch your phone off and hold down the volume up button when putting in the usb cable in order to enter fastboot mode, the blue LED light should light up if it works.
Device isn't detected in flash mode, only is detected by my PC in fastboot mode. I was able to get another handset with the same model number (e5823) to work in flash mode so I think it's a problem specific to this handset. Are there any options for unbricking my phone with fastboot with the bootloader locked? I would prefer to keep it locked because if I can't get it fixed myself I can at least make a warranty claim but if anyone can help me to recover the device using fastboot it would be greatly appreciated.
If fastboot is working, then the phone is unlocked. Fastboot doesn't work without unlocked bootloader. Either way, you should install all drivers (fastboot and flashmode) from flashtool drivers folder and then try flashing a firmware through flashmode. Download a firmware. Select it on flashtool and when flashtool asks you to connect your phone, only then hold the volume down button and connect to pc

Not to mention try different usb ports (2.0 or 3.0) and different cables. You never know

When I say that fastboot is working I mean that the device is detected and it appears in my fastboot devices. I still can't flash an image using fastboot. That's as opposed to flash mode which isn't detected at all. Nothing even appears in device manager. I have tried 3 different USB cables on all the USB ports of three computers and it's always the same. I also managed to flash a different handset of the same model number so I'm pretty sure it's a device specific issue, probably hardware related. Thanks for your help though.

Unfortunately I can't even do that Superrman because I can only flash in flash mode if the bootloader is locked. Thanks for your help though.

Thanks. I did think of that but the phone is still under warranty. I have already began the process of making a warranty claim so I'll just wait to see the result of it. Thank you for your help.
Try to power off by pressing the hide pin and connect it in flash mode
