I have LauncherPro PLUS
I'm trying to restore my backup from before and it says my SD Card cannot be readable. but other apps like titanium backup and files, music all can read my sd card
why is this happening and what can i do to fix it?
Thanks in advance
Edit:
Also its not just me, other people had this same problem.
aw common guys i need help.

An interim solution would be to restore your LP settings through titanium backup. That has always worked for me.
But on another note, do you have your backup folder under SDcard or under external SDcard? I have my LP Plus backup under both directories just to make sure it's read. But anyhow, I still use titanium backup in restoring my settings

CWM backup errors around 4gb

Hello, hope you can help. Some background, I rooted my Nook with Indirect's method last Christmas after getting the 1.4.1 update the blocked side loading. I restored to 1.4.0, rooted and blocked OTAs. Have been fine ever since. Started getting the 'insufficient space' error when trying to download certain apps from 'Google Play Market'. I started uninstalling apps to clear space and stupidly thought titanium backup and titanium backup pro were separate products, not companion products. I uninstalled titanium backup and cannot get it to download again, because of the 'insufficient space' error. I've since read more and wanted to clear 'dalvik cache', but guess what, can't do it because I don't have titanium backup.
I created the SD R3 card and booted in the CWM menu. When I try to backup my current rom, the backup fails around the 4g+, not always on the same file/app, this is on a 8g card and there is plenty of room left.
So what are my best options here? I do like the B&N reader and want to retain access to their market, but use Go Launcher and Dolphin instead of the stock B&N apps, and like access to Amazon and Google Play markets.
Should I return to stock and try to reroot with Indirects method? Do I need to use a different PC?
Should I use the SD card to reroot? I'd also like to repartition my space this time around.
I do have backups of most of my apps on my SD card, but these were done using Titanium Backup and I have no access to them now.
Any suggestions where I should go from here?
Thanks for any help.

do any errors show up when the backup fails in cwm? can you attach screenshot of the backup process that you are trying to do?
I had problems restoring my backups in cwm because they were to big. I updated my cwm to 6.0.1.2 from in the development forum and it gives my issue. The new cwm also does its backups different too so I would update yours and try backing up then.

Titanium Backup not seeing old backups

Hello everyone,
I'm hoping you can help me with an issue I'm having with Titanium Backup not being able to see old backups. I just reflashed stock de-odexed 5.0.1 using Flashfire. In Flashfire I set it to wipe 3rd party apps before flashing. The flash went fine and my phone went through the setup fine, and I chose not to restore all my app/setting from Google. All the TB backups were still on my SD card and I set the backup location in TB to the old directory on my SD card. But my problem is when I got to restore user apps in TB, it can't see any of the old backups in the TB directory on my SD card. Anyone else ever experience this? Did you find a way to fix it so TB could see all the old backups?
Thanks.
Eric
I'm guessing it's related to 5.0.1 not allowing access to your external SD card. Try running SD Fix, available in the app store. Be sure to reboot after you run the app. Hopefully, this will fix the problem!

Thanks for the suggestion. I looked into that, but it didn't fix anything.
I'm having this issue too, you're not alone. I recently flashed Hyperdrive RLS21 over stock rooted MJ7 and TB could not see my user apps backup on the external SD card... Very weird. I'll let you know if I come up with anything.

Restoring whats app msgs a couple of days old??

Hello Everyone,
I need some help restoring whats app msgs which are a couple of days old.I own a Samsung S4 mini.
I got my phone un-rooted and flashed the samsung stock ROM(Android version 4.4.2)
My internal SD card got formatted due to this. But I had taken a google drive back up as well as a local back up of the Database folder of my whats app on my PC before flashing the ROM.
On flashing the ROM, I installed the latest whats app version 2.12.449 .I tried to restore my msgs from the google drive back up but wasnt able to no matter what I did. It failed everytime. I skipped restoring the back up and my google drive back up got overwritten with only the new msgs.
I uninstalled and re-installed whats app.
While restoring the only option it gave me was to restore it using the backup on google drive (overwritten one) which was pointless. So,I tried doing the below steps mentioned in the Whats App FAQs to manually restore a local back up which was a day old.

To restore a less recent local backup
Your phone will store up to the last 7 days worth of local backup files (Google Drive will only have the most recent). If you wish to restore a local backup which is not the most recent, you will need to do the following:
Download a file manager. Here are some choices: File Managers and Explorers.
In the File Manager, navigate to sdcard/WhatsApp/Databases. If your data is not stored on the SD card, you may see internal storage or main storage instead of sdcard.
Rename the backup file you wish to restore from msgstore-YYYY-MM-DD.1.db.crypt8 to msgstore.db.crypt8.
Uninstall WhatsApp.
Install WhatsApp.
Tap Restore when asked.
This dint help either . It simply doesnt detect the local backup on my internal SD card. It only restored the back up on my google drive by default. Also there is no option to choose whether to restore back up from your SD card or google drive.
I have tried searching all the forums to find a solution to the above problem but couldn't :'(
Is there any way to resolve this issue apart from installing the message extractor on your PC and decoding the DB files??
