after i flash my tab 3740 lte with 4.4.2 v from opensource.dell/
When I set the timing automatically or manually
After a while the time does not stay the same and there is a big difference in minutes and hours
And if I reboot >>> the time returns to the normal shape
After a period of time >>also does not remain as I set it

firstly my english is horrible sorry for that
sanei n90: the clock has lagged (for example thismorning i checked and it said 6.09 and it was actually 6.21) i do every thing i set the time again but it lagged after few hours. i upgrade the firmware downgrade the firmware., reinstall the firmware nothing fix it it lagged again. i co factory reset an it doesnt help too. system time is wrong after few hours. dont tell me factory reset , set the time in setting menü, upgrade the firmware. i try alll of it. now in turkey time is 14:10 but my sanei n90 says 13:58. i will set again but it has lag again too. i try to click everyhing in "date and time " menu ender settings.
if the screen on yime is ok. if the screen off system time 1or 2 minute back every one hour.
what can i do. any bios battery in my sanei n90?

Hello Experts i need some help, I'm Newbie for android smartphone my first Android Smartphone is Dell Venue but i had some problems please help me
1. sometimes my phone is crashed (I Don't Know why) and stuck at dell logo. When that happens i usually removed battery and waiting 30-60 min
and its working perfectly for 3-4 ours and its crashed again and again.
2. i cant call anybody well its says connection problem or invalid MMI Code, i can only do text message or receiving calls. that's the big problem
3. can i install ubuntu in my dell venue ?

Following is the solution
1. Factory reset
2. Network issue (possible)
3. No ,, no ubuntu
I have been everywhere including dell and as Leia dais to Obiwan "your my only hope"
I lost the passcode to start the Venue and can not find anywhere how to reset the device (without being in the android operating system already)
Dell passed me to about 10 different departments and were unable to help me, and that was after being disconnected 3 times.
I am just assuming that someone would have experience with this very basic thing.

I am unable to turn on my wifi for my venue 8 3830. It would stay grey as soon as I try to switch it to "on". I tried 4.2, 4.3 and 4.4.2 and none of them worked. Even on the initial Wifi setup screen, it was unable to detect any wifi. Any thoughts?

Hardware problem, return tablet to where you bought it from.
I purchase a Dell Venue 8 7840 tablet a couple of days ago. This was shipped with kitkat 4.4 and after first boot, immediately got a firmware update to android 5.1.
The issue now is when tablet was on 4.4, it was able to connect to wifi perfectly and now after this update, suddenly the tablet does not recognise the wifi connection at all and apart from this - 1. password for wifi is not stored and I have to every time type in the password..............2. Even if the wifi is ON, the connection on tablet is NOT ON and it only SAVES the wifi connection.
I am now not able to connect to wifi at all.........Could this be because of firmware upgrade? Should I try by doing factory reset? Will this work?
How to resolve this?
