Is this only for SM-T585? Does it work for SM-T580?
LineageOS for SM-T580
@jimmyzyx In some way a good question, however it seems to me: SM-T585 only. Valera1978is well aware about the existence of the SM-T580 of course.
Question now is: will there be a Lineage version for SM-T580 as well ? I thought J0SH1X was looking into that, but now I see he opened a thread for NexusOS (had never heard of that one ever before). So as yet there is some unclearity about this. At least I guess it would take quite a bit of time to work on 2 different ROMS at the same time....

I know it is meant for the T585 but I installed it on my T580 before I noticed that. It wasn't until it told me to insert my Sim card that I realized it was for the T585. But it seems to be working fine anyway. Same problems as the 15.0 for the t580, so I'm going to try it for now.
I think you should definitely add support for SM-T350. There's no active devs for our poor device?

Not going to happen. The T350 doesn't even use the same SoC as the T585, which is the device the dev has. He couldn't even test it on the T580, which is exactly the same as the T585 but without LTE. It just happened to work but that was pure serendipity.

It works on 580 as only difference seems to be a modem and of course SIM slot. That's a good thing, as this means that devs can do 1 ROM and just add few kB build.prop patch for 580 model

the T560 uses the same SoC as the T350. The only difference between the T350 and T560 is a 1.6 inch screen difference. And the 560 already has LineageOS worked out to a degree. I think we just need a Good Device Tree for the MSM8916.
I've been hoping to get a build environment setup here soon.

First of all, the SM-T560 is a Tab E and doesn't use the same SoC as the T350 but what does it have to with the T580 and T585? The T580 and T585 use the Exynos 7870 which is NOT used in either the T350 (Snapdragon 410) or T560 (Spreadtrum SC8830A). Your information is wrong all the way around.

Even if both the T350 and T560 DID use the same SoC, and everything I find on the T560 says otherwise, neither one uses the same one as the T580. They don't even have the same number of cores. The T580 has eight while the other two have four.

2) Boot into recovery (Hold vol up when booting and use vol keys to select recovery)
3) If coming from a non lineageOS rom, please format system, data, and cache in recovery before flashing this rom. Otherwise stale files from previous roms may cause bugs.
5) Flash lineage rom
6) Flash gapps (obtain here: http://opengapps.org/)

UPDATED BUILD 24 AUG 2020.
If anyone is still using this device, here is an updated build with the August 2020 Android Security Bulletin & all merged LineageOS changes since October 2017. MAKE SURE YOU FLASH USING THE TWRP IN THE ORIGINAL POST! You can flash over any builds in this thread, the camera still doesn't work and I have no interest in fixing it.

How well does Bluetooth Audio work? Does it make you sound like a Chipmunk?
Is enforcing SELinux supported? Or only permissive?
EDIT: Don't worry I saw the issue tracker post
I'm gonna try this rom
It's nice to see development alive!!!
Hope you could a finally fix the broken camera

Does this fix also apply to the LineageOS 13.x Rom? I need the Front facing camera working, and that works under Marshmellow and not Nougat.
Just wanted to thank you for your hard work and dedication on this ROM project and wish you good luck with the camera as well.
Not that I find the camera on the R1 HD all that useful as it takes pretty lame photos, but the lack of camera is basically the only thing keeping me from ditching Blu software altogether.
I really hope you manage to get a 100% operational LineageOS for the R1 HD.
Yesterday I called Amazon and complained about the software that collected our personal information and data and submitted it to Blu headquarters in China. They said that I could return the phone for a full refund so at this point I am seriously contemplating doing that. The only problem is that I don't have a backup phone.
The lack of resources from MTK based processors is such a deal breaker. I was not aware it would be so difficult to get development going for it when I bought my phone last year.
Now I'm contemplating getting an used phone with better development support after I return my R1 HD.
I really wanted to wait until OnePlus released their new device with a better display and hopefully a near bezel less display and at least IP67 water resistance. That's the reason why I didn't go for the OP5. The upside-down screen was also another one.
If you could get the camera working in LOS than I'd hold on to my R1 HD for a a while longer. But I'm not keeping my hopes up... Just being realistic. Haha!
Thanks again!
Thanks for your support!
As of now, I've been studying the leaked MTK camera sources for other devices and using IDA to see what extra symbols and logic the stock libcameraservice.so and libcamera_client.so has. It appears that replacing these two libs was the key to fixing camera in cm-13 ports.
Thank you!
Oh, I didn't know camera support was fixed for CM 13 on the R1 HD. Maybe I didn't see it here. But I'd much rather have a non Blu version of Android with all security patches even if it's just on marshmallow.
Three days ago I just realized that Blu had a frigging app collecting my personal data and sending it back to China.
It had sent over 5.9MB of data since July 21st. I think it's a lot of data for text only transmissions.
Anyhow, I've been seeing people using Footej on other ROMs in which they could not get the camera working with stock camera app. Is that what you mean by getting the camera to work?

Dang! That's old! I guess devs should be more organized in doing a walk through with links to the files and recoveries needed to flash their awesome work.
Here's mine that I've just uploaded to zippy. I think it's the latest available and should be compatible with all ROMs.
Please report back with your findings and opinions on the ROM.
Please try to use both SIM cards to see if they work okay.

Hello world
EUI was so pathetic that I learned about repacking system images and ROM cooking in less that 48h after receiving my X722 ELITE.
Hereby I present you a fully working LOS 14.1 based on the latest available nightly for the X720!
First of all, credits where it's due:
@codeworkx for mantaining the source code
@murat1150
@slothdnk
@MakeX722GreatAswell
@evlo
@mick_novi for starting the amazing thread in the X722 section
Bugs
Same as for the X720
-------------
I must say that after using it for a while I found out that the device started slowing down. After investigating the settings for the kernel are set to the wrong governor.
You can fix this by installing magisk root and then installing kernel auditor and going to the CPU tab and setting the proper min and max frequency and changing the governor to on-demand
Bluetooth for BMW 2017: only audio works. This is the same bug as on the x720.
Front camera works but the quality is poor.
Installation procedure
Unlock bootloader. Best to be on genesy 26S or any 20s ROM
Install TWRP recovery (I used one specificly for the X722 by @CrisBalGreece). If you use a X720 TWRP image then you'll have to extract boot.img from the zip and flash it after flashing the ROM in fastboot, else you will not have network.
Wipe cache, dalvik and system (f reset)
Flash my ZIP (link below from google Drive)
Flash OpenGapps package of your choice for ARM64 Android 7.1
Wipe cache
Reboot and enjoy
Please note first boot shouldn't take longer than 5 minutes !
Disclaimer: Everything you do is at your own risk. I can't be held responsible for bugs or anything that leads to consequences because of my work.
You can use my work for your own ROMS. In fact, I would love to so that we can boost the support for this amazing device (160EUR!).

@soulaiman Well done! Do you think it would be possible to automate those cooking steps with pre/post build phase scripts (image mounting + filelist to copy)? Instead of cooking manually after every zl1 build, perhaps we could use either zl1 or (even better) a dedicated zl0 Git repo as source.

I'm sure a repo would be the best solution. It is possible to build a script for it but it wouldn't be easy as you have to use different tools and python scripts to unpack and repacked the dat and image.
One big problem! Sim card doesnt work.

i'm not sure flashing other roms will help or caused troubles because i can't see any modem firmware files in zip files for both LOS or Genesys, but i'll try again tomorrow to see logcat and with permissive selinux. maybe something just needs to be chrooted in ramdisk. also i'll take a look at second sim not getting detected, we had similar problems when i ported CM to dual sim Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro, then we got LTE working on both SIMs even if it was impossible to do on stock ROM

The firmware files for Genesys are in the system.img that you have to unpack.
The firmware files for LOS are inside the system.new.dat that you also have to unpack. They are inside system/etc/firmware
Please try LOS 15 with a sim so that I know for sure that it is my ZIP that has the issue and not incompability between basebands version and LOS 14.1.
I did not notice any problems specificaly with the SIM card, but I had some failures when I flashed this ROM over the previous Genesys 26s installed. Flashing again with data wipe in addition to cache, dalvik and system solved it.
The ROM seems pretty functional for me so far but the performance is not very good. I got a score of 134000 with Antutu, while the results with 20s and 26s were between 150000-152000 points. I tested again with the device rooted and AKT running with a performance profile and the results improved to 144,000.
For the photography enthusiast, I think the default camera is worse than the original and crashes when trying to set 16:9 format but on the other hand the Google Pixel/Nexus Camera port can be instaled allowing HDR+ photos and (stabilized) video .
Hi
After LeMax2 Project Treble port, I decide to bring up to our device too. Since I've x720 6/64 variant this project was possible to me tho due to QFIL tool in case of bricks, but wasn't need thanks for god.

Can I flash GSI by Phhusso:
I didn't try it yet, our device is ARM64 System A.
How to Flash GSI:
Download your favorite GSI rom.
Flash via TWRP or fastboot. BUT please keep attention to not wipe vendor or will not get booted, you are allowed to update vendor partition only if I release new build with fix things.
How Can I flash Android P Developer Preview 5:
Click on the following link.
Download ARM64 System A image. and 3 zips for post GSI.
Flash the system.img of Android via fastboot (recommend).
Reboot to TWRP.
Go to Mount-> check Vendor partition.
Flash the 3 zip as they arranged (1-2-3),
Reboot, enjoy Android P DP5.
NOTE:
This project has nothing to do with official updates, I did Project Treble by my initiative that will not affect with official roms. Might someone will reconsider supporting Treble even with official update tho?
Damn Congratulations!
I can't do it today. But, I will definitely try it this weekend. Thanks for sharing these test builds. I am definitely looking forward to checking it out!
Thanks again!
I will go ahead and download it and get started ASAP.

I just want to say again, that you are awesome for doing this, I didn't think it was possible with this phone. I am blown away! Nice job!
Hmmm can I shirk off my plans and install this right now? lol!

I have a question about Gapps, Magisk and firmware.
I assume Firmware is not an issue since it would still get flashed to the correct partition. With Magisk, I assume that you would prefer that we use 16.7?
What should we use for Gapps? Do you have a specific Gapps in mind?
Wonderful Work~
Its a great! Wonderful work, now wait to fix all bugs now.
I have a doubt. Is the known bug caused by the PT partition? If flash Android P, will those bug still exist?
what should i say , it is great job !!!!!

Experimental Treble ROM Arm64 for Redmi2. For limited time!
This rom is just a test done by someone with little experience. So do not have a dedicated Thread, who should create are the creators of the project.
It was build using as base the source code from wt88047-treble github project from @karthik km and @mkfslsxbin.
Note:
This ROM can be installed on a system partition with 1GB of space.
But other GSI ROMs Arm64 usually have 1.5GB, 2GB or more.
Requirements:
Use Treble Twrp 64bits oem-Cache:

Very good rom but Volte not working
Will it lag on 1/8?
- GPS not working, or take too long to position fix. I've waited 10mins and nothing
- Mobile data not working
Otherwise ROM is very fast and stable, good work!

Intro(Skip at your wish xd):
Hello guys, it's kind of frustrating that our 4a 5G don't get much love here(in custom ROM development perspective) as Pixel 5 as it's not really a "main" variant.
For myself, I love Pixel devices for Google releases "proper" device tree and most necessary stuff, but still it require quite some time for me to get things right and a working ROM build, hell, to be honest, I spent like about 30 hrs already as this is my first time to use AOSP tree + vendor blobs from Google site to build ROMs)
Despite the lack of previous experience, the first build that I'm releasing here, is working quite well, I haven't discovered any (device-specific) bug just yet, anyway, let's continue

Instructions:
0. Make sure your bootloader is unlocked
1. Download ROM zip from the link below, and grab Magisk patched boot.img inside the folder as well if you want root access
2. Reboot to bootloader
2.5. Flash updated bootloader.img and radio.img from Google site
3. Use `fastboot -w update LineageOS_microG-bramble-(BUILD DATE HERE)-userdebug-signed.zip` to flash
and yes, you can omit the "-w" parameter if you're not flashing for the first time, aka just updating from previous release
4(optional). Hopefully after flashing you'll be booted into LineageOS, reboot to bootloader again,
and flash the Magisk patched boot.img extracted from the 7z file with `fastboot flash boot magisk_patched.img`,
reboot after finished
5. Enjoy!

2. Video call is unstable, crashes in about ~10 minutes after the call starts (untested in latest update, may be fixed)
3. If mobile data doesn't work after update, try select/set APN manually(select whatever APN first, then select the correct one after)

I guess I will roll the dice and give it a go. Anyone know if this will affect my e-sim with Google Fi?

It won't affect Google Fi.
Thanks. It looks great and runs good but I’m obviously missing something. I tried installing GApps via ADB side load and no matter which size Nikhil version I attempt to install, I get an error there’s not enough memory. I’ve rebooted after flashing to the rom and also done a factory reset to no avail. What am I missing? I’ve also tried it with and without the patched boot.img.

Warranty? Should not effect that. I wouldn't think it would. Bootloader is unlockable and google even gives the option to flash aosp vanilla(no google) or public (official google rom) with their flashing tool (via chrome browser).
Are Pixel-Exclusive features such as Now Playing, Live Captions, Call Screening, Adaptive Sound, Screen Attention included and working?

This is Lineage... You install this one to get privacy and free yourself from Gapps. You might be able to get most features running, but then you just can stay with stock - privacy is then gone again...

SeedVault is builtin system app for all LineageOS builds, no matter it's official or not, if it's not there in someone else's build, either it's removed by the builder or the build is too old.
So yes, SeedVault is in my build, but there's no guarantee that it works with any apps just like Google Backup(which I found pretty much useless in my case)
PS. I'm not really as active as I was on xda since about 2 years ago, please join Telegram for more updated stuff
PPS. I released GCam extracted from stock ROM and modified to make it work on LineageOS(and pretty much any custom ROM with right stuff baked in), and yes, you'll need to flash updated build from my Telegram channel (It's more convenient for me to upload to Telegram as the storage space there is unlimited)
LineageOS 18.1 is up!
Now with December security patch, grab it from the link in OP
