Good Day..
my phone's on bootloop,USB port was broken (can't go to fastboot, ADB), can't flash a rom because of mounting problems.. :crying:
I found a solution that requires a TWRP recovery to fix these mounting problems..
I have the TWRP img file, but i dont know how to create a flashable zip file..
Help please.. anyone ? Thanks

Try with TWRP and tell me how it works.

You could install from MobileUncle Tool:
Extract from zip file: recovery.img
Put the img file on your media storage NOT ON YOUR SD CARD!
Open MobileUncle Tool
Go to Recovery Update;
You will find there recovery image
Patch.
Second way is:
If you have allready CWM installed
Copy zip file on your phone
Restart to recovery
Patch zip file.
Hope this will help you.

There is no boot.img file there. Recovery.img is the file you must extract and patch.

Hi,
I tried uploading back up of rom taken from SP flash tool but file size is huge around 1.6GB. Alternatively CWM back up is small size of 333MB so you can use cwm back up to flash your phone. the link to download rom is as follows: -
https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=0B6hkMCWEBsEPQy03SnBWNlNLUXM
Just extract the folder and store in your sd card. Do not overwrite or rename any file. than flash cwm recovery using sp flash tool. use this guide to flash cwm if you don't how how to do the same:-
for rooted phone: -

for unrooted phone: -

if you need scatter file or stock recovery file for onetouch flash than you can download it from here: -

Hello. Did you check if the bakup is working? Did you do a recovery from it at least once? I tried to install your backup on a TCL S720 phone which is the same phone (95% sure....) and it didn't work. It said on CWM recovery "Flash failed". I want to mention that the rom files you uploaded should be in the root of the zip file not in a directory. I've archived the file directly in the root and it didn't work. Any idea? Could you upload the whole rom, the 1.6 GB one and paste the link here please? I know many people is looking for it. Thank you.
tcl s720
I restored this nandroid from alcatel ot flash 6042d on to my TCL S720
The restore process went well,no errors, but the rom is not booting it is in a boot loop.
I tried substituting boot.img from tcl s720 but no luck,I even tried patched boot.img,no luck either.
So,I hope someone with mad porting skillz will be able to port this alcatel 6042d rom to tcl s720.
@jhalife
If you can upload the whole backup 1.6gb made with sp flash tool I will be very grateful and many other TCL S720 will be grateful also
Thanks

Hey Jhalife,
Could you send the CWM Recovery because my phone is bricked and I can't possibly make a custom recovery at this stage. I have a TWRP so I can install CWM Recoveries.
Guys, Pls help me... I need recovery img for micromax a99 lollipop. By mistake I flashed my recovery img with other phones recovery img. Now my phone is looping at logo screen.
I tried to download via SP flash tool. But it never detects my phone(with or without battery)...
Only way I can do is by bastboot command... For that I need a working recovery img for micromax a99 lollipop. Didnt find on google. My only hope now is you guys on xda...
Hope you guys can solve it?
Thanks....
you do stupid stuff like this, and live with the consequences...and hope a kind soul has the same device and a developer kind enough to create something for you

If you can tell me how to make a recovery img I can give you the img
I hard bricked my device and have nothing left. Can any one create a debrick IMG file for me with the following steps...
HERE IS THE GUIDE INSTRUCTION
DOWNLOAD THIS
Flash it in your preferred recovery (CWM or TWRP) and it will create the dump file needed for this debrick method
Once you have flashed it you will find a file called debrick.img on your internal sdcard. It should be 128MB in size. (if you zip it, it will be much smaller!) Upload this to your preferred file host and pls post the link here..
Plz help me. Thanks in advance!! :crying::crying:

Hi guys need help, i tried unrooting my device.. from dis link
" https://theunlockr.com/2016/02/17/how-to-unroot-the-oneplus-x/ " but i got stuck when i tried booting in recovery from fastboot.
i hve attached the screenshot also plz help how to get over dis desperately need to unroot my device.
thanks in advance
OK, I see the guide. It's not about unrooting. It's about going back to stock firmware with stock recovery !
I think, there is no need to do all that....
Now, you should follow that guide :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-x/general/guide-mega-unbrick-guide-hard-bricked-t3272108
Or just in cas you need it, via fasboot install this recovery
Then shutdown the device
You will have to reboot directly to recovery
And flash 2.2.2 Full rom zip
If you have the firmware you are on stored on your device. I believe dirty flashing it in recovery will restore the system files to how they were before rooting.
